The surf reports and not always very accurate. The most useful feature of this app were the webcams. Magicseaweed have now removed the free webcams and made it so you have to pay. The quality of the webcams at my local breaks is not worthy of the price they want. Very disappointed in MSW with this "update".

Really poor customer service for returns. The worst I've ever experienced. Purchased several items from them pre-holiday. A couple of pairs of boardies didn't fit and I've been trying to arrange a return for several weeks now. Their website didn't work for refunds, it took me ages to get through to their contact centre, the person I spoke to didn't follow through on what they said they would do, and I'm currently on hold now for an hour still trying to get it resolved. They might be cheap but be warned if you think you might need to send something back as their after-sales customer care is non-existent.

I purchased a Ripcurl bomb suit 2 years ago for £250. Last week it ripped along the seam. They offered nothing, not interested, could not care less.

I would expect a wetsuit tp last 4/5 years minimum at that cost.

No help from MSW at all.

Rubbish surf forecasts. The site is awash with complex, detailed information, but the key indicator of wave height is overstated & wrong on virtually a daily basis. Even today, Trev Lumley points out that it is flat but Magic Seaweed is still stating 2-4ft & giving it quality stars. Long live Eyeball - simple but accurate.

Hello, I’m really disappointed with the service I have received following a recent order off a vision ignite surfboard, the board arrived last week with out any fins or a leash plug fitted, it took me 30 mins to get through to someone on the phone and which point I was told the surf expert was on a lunch but they would pass on a message to call me back, I never received a call back but received an email the next day to advise you were out of fins and received a link to a 3rd party website advising I can order the fins of there. I subsequently replied to advise this is not acceptable and followed up twice with no reply. Please can someone contact me to ASAP to arrange a refund and for the board to be returned. . Order ID 4227665

Every hardcore surfer visits MSW at least once a day. Thats all that needs to be said.

Some products advertised aren’t even in stock, they send you ‘alternatives’ in hope that you’ll just make do. Items still shown as in stock days after the issue came to light!!! Poor correspondence, such a shame...was much better before the take over by Surfdome.

Overall, MSW is the best European online shop when it comes to choice of surfboard brands offered. Google it and you will see that everybody else is playing safe offering a narrow selection of same old stuff. But at MSW, it is interesting to just browse the catalog.
I was buying a surfboard and a bag from MSW and all went smoothly except there were some minor problems.
1) While filling an ordering form I found out that my homecountry is not in the list. I contacted the support and they said to pick any country there is. Ok maybe I am not the target audience as I am from Russia, but guys, what's the point of having that list like that?
2) When the board was shipped I didn't receive the tracking number. It was not in the 'Order Tracking and History', either. I had to call by phone to ask to send me that number after my package got nearly sent back by the shipping company. How come? This stuff is (normally) done automatically these days. Haven't you seen how amazon does it? )
3) This is the most minor stuff, but again. In the email receipts I see this:

Seriously, it's 2015! We're lucky to have Unicode support everywhere, but I bet your store is custom-written PHP software written back in the day and still using lots of legacy code. Update!
Other than that, everything's cool. I got my board, buying was painless and I can't wait to try it.
PS Please consider including the new cool undestroyable LibTech surfboards to your assortment.

I use Magic Seaweed nearly everyday for surf checks, so when it came to ordering a few accessories they were an obvious choice.

I ordered a couple of bargain products in their private sale and their hooded changing robe. Every product was just as expected and exceptionally good value.

Bought a creature of leisure traction pad and 6ft leash, the leash was bought with private sale items and was going to take a while to deliver (comes from supplier warehouse so it takes longer to deliver) I popped them an email and asked to send it before the private sale item this was not an issue straight away they sent it! excellent delivery they never fail to impress also magic seaweeds surf reports remain to be the best ! will always use this company they are outstanding.

Ordering online can be dodgy or problematic, every single time I've ordered with magicseaweed no problem, extremely quick arrival and good customer care.

Great products, great service, great delivery.

Great shop, Easy Layout for shopping, Great variety of surf/sports products and good prices.

I give 4 stars because i feel the website is slow to stock the latest seasonal products such as clothing and apparel.

Postage is super fast too.

The only thing I can put a finger on is, that they often get products out of stock before I can buy them! - But is this really a bad thing? - You decide!
