These people are cheats. They charge £14.99 and say they use DHL. You write to them for a tracking ID and nothing. They actually use a £2.50 product from Deutsche Post.

I have been a Xara Webdesigner customer for many years. You could contact Support by sending a message and attach a file or screenshot. Since Magix has taken over Xara, it's become absolutely crap. No contacting support, attach a file, or anything else. "Ask the Community", that's their support. There is a "Ask Support", but that only gives you a list of possible questions and then the run-around back to "Ask the Community". Absolutely pathetic!

If you plan to buy Acid Pro 10 - don't! Full of bugs. I was in contact with their customer support for more than two months, two updates later made the 3rd party plugins crash EVEN MORE. Basically, you can forget to use any plugins outside the ones Magix supplied the software with.

If I could leave a negative review like -5 stars I would. NEVER do business here. You will be trapped contractually and unless you can afford to sue them you’re stuck. I have gone back and forth at least 5 times trying to pay out and get out and every time they have fed me a line from a screen on their site that is unrelated to my request. I will never do business with them after this and I suggest you avoid them at all cost unless you like using snail mail and have ample time to argue with customer service.

Bought Vegas Pro 18 and ran into 4 issues within a few days.

2 of them I just worked around with other free software assuming they were such obviously broken features they would get fixed in the next patch (didn't happen).

2 of them (one crashing and the other a missing advertised feature) I raised tickets for as they necessary to fix ASAP as they were crucial to my workflow, and nearly two months later still no resolution.

Support don't know their own software at all, don't properly read your responses, and take a ridiculously long time to respond.

My advice would be to avoid like the plague, but if you must have any of their software, then test it thoroughly straight away. If you get any crashes or broken functionality, get a refund straight away and don't let their slow responses drag you over the refund period.

It's disappointing to see such rotten reviews about the company that has taken over the Sony Pro editing software. I'm using an old Sony product which is rather basic and I have thought of upgrading but on reading these reviews I'm very reluctant to proceed. Another reason for not going ahead is some of their promotional emails and web pages are not always completely clear in that the 'Edit' version does not include some of the features shown which are exclusive to their more expensive versions. It would be easy to order thinking you were going to get an extra feature, missing the 'exclusive to' exclusion.

Complete Garbage sign up never sent me my code nor or serial number, just a coupon code guess they fu%&ed me out of 30.00. no serial code on the box, complete crap. then to try and find help forget it bunch of scam phishing making buy said product 2 times. Cant return to best buy only exchange for the same stuff over and over.

Terrible Customer Service and products. They make you submit tickets to cancel and when you cancel...they put the cancellation date for the following year. Absolute scum.

Right now... you can't even buy the new version. Their website is broken as well. Sound Forge used to be rock solid, now it's full of bugs and issues. I will have to move to something else.

I want to say a few things. First, yes Magix is the worst peice of video editing, which is unfortunate as their layout for the editor is very easy to use, and does best for basic editing. I used Magix pro editor 2016 for around 2 years until they pulled it from steam, so It was inaccessable. Although it crashed A LOT, I was able to edit videos and render.

I installed their 2021 trial version of BOTH the pro and pro plus, both were horrible. The audio was going out of synx, the video wouldn't even finish in preview mode as the audio was behind, it froze trying to import. It's a shame because I am so familiar with it, and can't find a good editing program at a some what low price but easy enough for someone that uses it for simple - add clips, push them together, render -. Everything is for 'professionals and editors'.

Shame. I wish they made a software that works

Bought Sound Forge Audio Lab 3, but I can't use it as it will not accept my as serial number.

Tech Support stopped replying to my emails over a week ago!

Don't buy their crap!!!

I have been using Vegas (formerly Sony Vegas) for over a decade and since Magix took over, the quality and usability have steadily declined. It is now to a point where it crashes so often that it is barely usable. Add to this the very spammy way Magix tries to force you to upgrade, DO NOT consider using their products. If you are already a long term user like me, you're going to have to face the learning curve of another, more reliable software.

I have the Video edit pro on my old computer, it crashed so much that I thought my old PC. couldn't cope.! I bought a new computer well within the configuration needed and added the new (2021) version of Edit pro by downloading it.
I tried three times to download but each time the effects just won't install. The main software seems ok but all the add ons just don't work. I feel like a real twit to have wasted my money yet again.

It tried to mess up my Windows 10 audio and blew static into one of the speakers until I uninstalled it, and restarted my Windows.

Absolutely SICK TO DEATH of the way Magix now provides its software titles. I used so many of their products over the past ten years or more. However, their new trick is a so-called "Update Service", which basically traps you into a Subscription purchase, with the promise of regular updates so you always "have the latest version". After a year, you're constantly bombarded with "nag" banner adverts on your PC screen. Even if you click on "Don't show this again", it makes no difference, and the regularity of their advertising becomes a total nuisance! NOT recommended, and I'll no longer buy anything Magix!

Purchased several Magix products from HumbleBundle. I tried to love them...I really tried. They have some good ideas, and you can tell that the software architecture has had solid efforts behind them. That said, I was never able to reliably use any of it. We're talking MAGIX Video Sound Cleaning Lab, MP3 Deluxe 19, Music Maker EDM Edition, MAGIX Photo Manager Deluxe, MAGIX Photostory Deluxe, among other addins and bonus content. Either the software would crash, fail to run at all, or post-update would crash or otherwise error out on (insert random dll here). I just don't get it. I spent roughly 1/2 a day uninstalling, reinstalling, trying various updates or new installs, or any combination therein. Simply unsatisfactory all around.
I tried - I really did. But I just can't love any of it.

Worst malware spam and popup garbage on planet earth, passing itself off as a usable software. Developers and executives should be outed as the crooked snakes they are. Do not buy MAGIX products. Run!

Recently I was looking for an upgrade from Filmoria as it was getting too basic for me, Vegas pro looked alright so I decided to buy a license, That was one of my worst decisions. Right off the bat I didnt like the way the software looked (They made it look modern in the intro), I tried to live with it and imported some 4k video and then guess what? It crashed. I went to their support and they refused to refund me. $639 down the drain. Thanks alot magix.

Want to have basic functions, like importing mp3s and wavs, in the audio editing software you bought?

Better buy the DLC then!

Get any other software. Search for best DAWs or something. This is basically a huge scam.

It felt like i downloaded a virus. My computer started to over heating and weird pop ups starts to appear. I payed 85$ and i uninstalled it 2 days later
