I ordered an item, a pink globe for a photography shoot and it looks fantastic in the pictures also arrived well in time for the shoot, Also so happy that it works in my home too!

I read a lot of bad reviews but can honestly say I had a great experience and loved our side tables. Will be ordering more from Maisons du Monde for sure.
We've ordered a mirror from these guys which was never delivered to the DPD pickup point and we were only told it had been returned to France! That's a problem but these things happen. The real problem is they won't make it right.
We have builders coming in next week and they need the mirror on site. After waiting more than 10 minutes to speak to a customer service rep, rather than agreeing to get a new mirror sent ASAP, they will only delivery next week! When I asked to speak to a manager I was told it would take 3 days for a manager to get back to me! In short, they avoid responsibility and are making their poor shipping problem mine.
There is no reason for accepting this level of poor customer service. Mistakes happen in shipping but they should do their best to make it right. Instead they are giving me the run-around.
I am very pleased with my purchase. I purchased a floor mirror. I am from London and delivery took about 10 days, but it was done with care, and the mirror looks even better than on the pictures.
The only minor comment is - I received an email with the tracking number which was invalid, so I could not track the delivery.
Seemed like a lovely company with good reviews but my mirror took ages to arrive, the courier company were most unhelpful and when it did eventually arrive, it came smashed into a thousand pieces! I sent Maisons Du Monde an email asking politely what’s best to do next, which they acknowledged receiving over a week ago yet nobody has been in touch to help. Absolutely awful and will not be returning in a hurry unless somebody can fix this mess!
Avoid Maisons du Monde at all costs. My partner and I ordered two bedside tables and a gold mirror from this company. We opened one of the bedside tables to discover that it was covered in mould - a health hazard - and the mirror arrived cracked. We notified them of these problems within the 14 day free return period and sent in photos as proof. They notified us that their logistics provider would be getting in touch with us to arrange a pick up. We are STILL waiting for their logistics provider to get in contact with us almost two weeks later, despite following up multiple times via email and on the phone and contacting the logistics provider directly with our details (they claimed they would call us back). The logistics provider then tried to claim that they received no notification of a pick up request, despite multiple call centre employees contacting them. We just want our money back and the mould-infested bedside tables out of our apartment! Ultimately it is MDM's responsibility to sort this out and they have failed to do so. Avoid the pain and hassle and go for better quality furniture from another company!
