Malvern Garden Buildings Reviews 

We ordered our Astwood 12’ x 8’ garden room in late November and it was delivered and installed in early February as promised. We could not have had a better experience, the whole transaction went smoothly from the initial order to the delivery and we have been impressed by the professional way our purchase was handled by the Malvern sales team based near Abingdon. We were also amazed at how quickly the building was installed by the men who delivered it. They did an excellent job.
It is a beautiful well constructed building, exactly what we hoped it would be, and we are looking forward to using it very much.

This is our 4th garden building in about 25 years. Each time we moved we had new summerhouse and this time a garden room. We have had excellent service from the salesman at Whitehall Garden Centre, the main office, the contractors who laid the base and finally the team who built the garden studio. In all cases they kept us informed and did a super job, cleaning up and leaving us tidy everytime.

Very happy with my Malvern building project to incorporate a shower room and kitchenette. Extremely good and helpful Simon at Hassocks guided me through the whole process as planned. Efficiently constructed on site by Andy and Luke and lovely to have around, structural engineer Thierry and his men, with all the utilities. Well done chaps

In october 2024 we visited the showroom at Penrith to see the products with a view to purchasing a Summer Room. We met the salesman Bryan who was very knowledgeable about the product and spent time showing us all available options. A few days later I paid a deposit on our chosen building, a 12" x 10' Studio Pavillion and continued to keep in touch with Bryan and Mattew from the sales team to get sizes, specifications and advice about the proposed build. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys.
Dealing with the staff at head office was pain free, again nothing was a bother. All the staff I spoke to about the payment and delivery dates were proffesional, knowledgeable and most importantly, passionate about the product they sold.
On the 11th of february 2025 the 2 members of the fitting team arrived at our home. Andy and Nick were cheerful, tidy and polite.
They got on with the job in hand without fuss and were excellent craftsmen. If only other trade persons could be like these two. A true credit to the company they represented and a joy to have at our home. They worked hard in putting our building together and their standard of workmanship is first class. We now have a beautiful addition to our home thanks to everyone at Malvern. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone considering a purchase of one of their excellent products.

We ordered a summer house last July. Really pleased with it. The whole team were great. Simon and Julie at Hassocks garden centre were really helpful with the ordering process. Looking forward to using it this summer.

His service was amazing, he communicated with us throughout and is just a really decent person.
The shed was installed by the Malvern team (who were also great) and we couldn’t be happier.

We purchased a Pent Garden Studio at the end of last year and requested delivery in February 2025. The whole process has been excellent, and we're delighted with our new garden office. The service from Simon at the Nottingham show site was excellent, as was the communication from Malvern and the friendliness and punctuality of the two men who built the studio. We had a slight issue with the alignment of the door once the studio was built, but this was quickly resolved. We would 100% recommend Malvern and their studio offices.

We recently purchased and had installed a Malvern 2.44 meter square Garden Office. The design planning conversations with Malvern sales staff at Whitehall Garden Centre were very informative and helpful as was their flexibility in the ordering and delivery process when we were initially unclear as to when our house move would take place. The delivery and installation team worked very efficiently, finishing their job in just over half a day! We are delighted in the finished appearance of the office building, which has added significantly to our new home’s living and working flexibility.

From Pre-sales through to onsite construction I have found Malvern to be a professional, helpful and friendly group of people to work with.

We had a really tricky situation with our studio in as much that having paid the deposit realising being in a conservation area, with newts and a pond and an orchard we need full planning for what would normally be permitted development - and there were going to be many hoops to jump through to get it.

Sara in the Abingdon office was very understanding, gave advice and honoured the price of when I made the deposit, despite it taking a long time to go from that point to final payment. She was extremely patient and knowledgable with my 'many' questions and emails

Mandy in the post sales team was really helpful too, and supported me with a number of technical and placement questions I had for our studio.

Finally, on the two days of the build we had two friendly, professional guys, who did a great job of putting together a really lovely place to be in

I recently purchased a studio garden room from the Malvern garden building show site in hassocks
The people were friendly and very knowledgeable about all the products, including all aspects of the process.
They offered helpful advice and patience in answering all of my questions.
My garden building has now been delivered and installed and is in full use. We are absolutely delighted .

The whole experience, from the sales team at Tate's in Hassocks, to the installation team was great. Excellent advice before buying and lots of help choosing exactly the right model for us. The guys who installed the building were so nice and very efficient, they worked quickly and professionally and gave us lots of advice on keeping it in good condition.
We were lucky to get an ex-display model so saved ourselves some money, but the buildings are definitely worth it. All in all we couldn’t be happier and would have no hesitation in buying again.

I chose to buy a Malvern shed because they are so sturdy and well made. The rep was very helpful and guided me when I was making my choice of which building to buy, extras, etc. I did have to wait the full 8 week lead time and contact the factory myself to find out when the delivery would be made. 2 guys turned up bright and early to install my shed, they were friendly, courteous and professional. They had the shed up in no time and the finishing is to a high standard. I am really pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Malvern building.

The two guys who turned up to construct and install our garden building ( we like to call it a Summerhouse/Shed) were absolute top quality. They arrived punctually and were superbly efficient in working together and within 5 hrs had finished, completely tidied up and had gone. We are both extremely happy with the job and the gardenbuilding/ Summerhouse/Shed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Malvern to anyone in the future. Maybe a bit pricey but the quality shines through.

The whole process from ordering through each of the several stages of the installation went exactly as planned, to time and with high quality tradesmen working with pride and good humour. On arrival the teams were positive, understanding and well informed. Each team spoke highly of the work of their colleagues. It was a pleasure to have them on site. Calls to the Office were answered promptly, helpful, understanding and practical; we felt appreciated. We are delighted with our 'garden room'.

I purchased a building from the team at Hassocks a couple of years ago. I don't like doing reviews until I lived with my purchase for a while. The sales chap, I think it was Simon, was very helpful. He took me though all of the options and pointing me in the direction of the best solution, not the most expensive one, which was very refreshing. Now we're 3 years in the building is perfect. No issues with the after sales service, delivery was perfect. Me & my allotment buddy put in up ourselves and the team at Hassocks were on hand with tips and advice. All round an excellent service and product. I would defo recommend to anyone; in fact, I have a few times.

Still awaiting a date for some one to come and look at the door problem on my pavillion i asked for nearly 3 weeks ago.Losing my patience with this lot feel like taking this to trading standards authority.

I had a reverse apex heavy duty shed installed by Malvern 3 weeks ago. I was thrilled with its handsome and rugged looks and promise of durability. Fast forward 3 weeks and the roof felting ripped off during the high winds from the storm. I’ve contacted Malvern and the options given to me were to get a quote from them to replace the felting or pay a fee to have one of their assessors come out to see whether the damage was due to the felting having not been adequately secured during installation. The positives for this shed are that the bones of the structure are undamaged, but sadly let down by a very flimsy roof.

We ordered a garden room with inside and outdoor area, which was delivered and put up in September. We were really impressed with the level of service from Edwyn (East Bridgford Garden Centre branch), from start of consultation to finish of the installation and even afterwards he has continued to keep in touch. He was so helpful and friendly and was on hand to answer every question or concerns we had along the way. We are so thrilled with the garden room and would definitely recommend Malvern to anyone looking for similar products and experiences.

Excellent service from Malvern Buildings in Cheltenham. Cathy was 110% helpful and friendly, and saw our project through from start to finish.

Our storage shed with open area was delivered in Feb 2024 and we have been really pleased with the product, along with the service we received. We saw the company online and went to look at some models at East Bridgford Garden Centre and we met Simon who helped us from day one. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped us with all of our questions. He helped us debate what type of shed we wanted, and explained how our dream of getting a hot tub in as well could be made a reality. Simon was extremely helpful with the design too as we wanted to door to open in a certain way and he was able to manipulate the design to maximise all of the space we needed.

The delivery team were amazing and built everything so quickly. They also ensured that they topped up any paint we needed before they left, and left us with two tubs in case we need it in the future.

The outbuilding has really transformed our garden this summer. We have been able to have lots of BBQs with friends and enjoy our new hot tub. The shelter has allowed us to still use it even when raining. We still utilise it in the winter too - even if it’s a bit colder!

We would definitely recommend Malvern to friends and family and if we ever need another outdoor building/shed, we will be back in touch with Simon.
