Knew what we wanted and had a look round the usual 'warehouse' stores and got the usual 'not that bothered' or 'not stocked/displayed' experience. Not with Manchester Fireplaces, they were helpful, gave good advice and demonstrated the fire we were looking for. Said delivery in about 4 weeks, came within 2 weeks (others said min 4-6 maybe} and Peter the driver was brill too,
If you're looking for a new Fire etc, go here first and be surprised. Good Prices and Free Delivery.

Very helpful and expert service. I ordered the incorrect fire tray adn had no difficulty returning it and then getting advice on getting the correct size of gas fire for our fireplace.

They could not have been more helpful. They have a large range of surrounds and fireplaces and were able to get details of many more as well. We needed to reduce the size of the hearth and they did this with no fuss and no extra charge

They were able to arrange delivery for the exact time we needed and kept us up to date throughout.

Manchester Fireplaces is an excellent company. Dave the person that dealt with our installation was very helpful and polite throughout.
Everything was very efficient and delivered on time.

I needed a hearth as a mater of priority, not only did they deliver earlier than expected but an excellent product, very pleasing outcome.

Extremely helpful staff there efforts to help me sort out measurements and pick the best fire for my fire opening is very much appreciated.They sent me photos and drawings which was extremely useful.

Really good service. I bought bespoke gas fire trays that needed a lot of technical issues dealing with and Manchester Fireplaces were very responsive including talking with my fireplace fitter.

I would definitely recommend as I did try a few other places that just didn't come up anywhere near as good.

When I ordered the hearth 3 were in stock. I heard nothing from the company so called them after a few days to be told it was out of stock. The freight company called me regarding delivery which I paid £59.95 for to be told it was an all day delivery between 9am -5pm, it turned up at 6.10pm. I called Manchester fireplaces to say it was a lot of money to pay for a delivery, and not get a time slot, and for it to arrive an hour over the allocated time, they said they don’t know much about the company that delivers it, they were going to contact the company and get back to me, well that was a few weeks ago now and I haven’t heard anything. Thank goodness the hearth was ok, as I really don’t think this company has great customer service and I won’t be using then again.

After making an enquiry to Manchester Fireplaces about the richness in colour of the oyster fire chamber I decided to order it. I received a call to arrange delivery and the chamber arrived very securely and undamaged. The only problem was it wasn’t as rich in colour as it was sold to me on the phone but was still nice, and it could be just a matter of opinion!

Ordered before Christmas arrived before beautifully packed and amazing quality tiles.....actually better than the picture ...we love them and our wrought iron fireplace which I wanted to update to these lighter more modern looking tiles look amazing in our modern house. Excellent, fast delivery and very helpful driver, much appreciated

Communication was limited and I had to contact the company to find out when my beam was actually going to arrive (after waiting a couple of weeks).
The gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful both before and after my order and even got someone to come and fit the beam for me (I paid but it was useful to have a recommendation who contacted me and turned up on time when he was meant to!) The guy who fitted the beam was really friendly.
I did actually visit the shop too but I didn't find the lady so friendly/helpful. I felt like I was an annoyance to her.
But overall the product is good and the gentleman I spoke to in emails and on the phone was why I went with this company and I am happy with the end result.
