I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Aimee at M & S Octapus Energy. Every question or query was answered very quickly and efficiently despite the fact that they must be really busy right now.

Contacted M and S energy to answer…

Contacted M and S energy to answer queries regarding quotes for new utility tariff. Had a friendly reply from Danyaal. As I still wasn’t clear as to best tariff I emailed Danyaal again who confirmed which would be the best tariff for me. Was pleased with friendliness and prompt replies and answers to my questions confirmed

I spoke to a lovely fella called Steve…

I spoke to a lovely fella called Steve Yeoman in the M&S Aintree store. Steve made me feel welcome and totally at ease. He has helped me twice and has been absolutely amazing. He's helped me sort my gas and electricity, advised on issues that I've been having with both suppliers (Shell & EDF) with getting overcharged, he's also given me great advise on saving money and managing my accounts. Definitely recommend visiting the store and having a chat with Steve.

I was naturally quite concerned about the upcoming price rises so I rang Aman who helped me make a decision with kindness, humour and common sense she was a joy to deal with .. we need more like her !

Shopping in Marks and Spencer’s…

Shopping in Marks and Spencer’s Metrocentre yesterday I was stopped by an assistant just to chat about my energy supplier .
The lady who I think was called Cathy was brilliant ,she explained what I can expect from you and there was no pressure to do anything ,it would be my decision .I learnt quite a bit from the information she gave me and will definitely consider changing to you when my fixed term ends .
I find that customer service is a big thing with any company ,something my present company falls down on and this lady explained that customer service and satisfaction are top of your list .
I was very much impresssed by the lady’s easy approach to me as I dislike the constant hassle yiu usually get in shops and by phone .

The dreaded energy price increase letter

The dreaded information about our energy use and future costs has arrived. It might seem strange to give a company who have just given you a large price hike 5 stars but I've done so because of the way they treat customers, as adults who need all the facts available and can then make an informed decision. No false promises, or vague hopes, the plain truth. Unpalatable though it is, I prefer knowing how much more our energy is going to cost for the next year so we can budget accordingly and maybe cut down our energy consumption at the same time.

Having moved I asked Octopus to take…

Having moved I asked Octopus to take over my energy. They were my previous supplier. I have great trust in M&S and Octopus. Not only where their supplies come from but the overall service.
Efficient, friendly quickly responsive in fact excellent
service always. This is as important to me as the quality of the product. Thank you.

Prompt actions

I asked a couple of questions and was promptly answered by Sophie.
This is certainly better than hanging onto the phone.
Shame she could not make the electric any cheaper, but there it is, we can’t have everything.

Excellent service

My annual tariff was due due for renewal and I had been given two option. I phoned to discuss and spoke to Aimee. In delaying I probably missed the best choice!. My own fault and wasn't pleased. Aimee was patient, understanding and in a quiet and gentle manner answered questions I had AND emailed me later with an update. Well done Aimee.

I have found M&S / Octopus to be a reliable and helpful company to deal with. They are so easy to make contact with regarding any queries or problems.The M&S monthly e mail for giving meter readings is very easy to use and helps octopus to give accurate bills.This is why l will stay with them.

The best so far!

We have been extremely pleased with mandsenergy over a number of years. We like the openess and freedom of choice it offers. We understand the new rises and accept the inevitable. I have also recommended Octopus to anyone who asks!
