Visited for my daughter to buy a car. We had the pleasure of dealing with Elliott Chaplin. Elliott, was professional throughout the whole process. It was a real pleasure to deal with Elliott, the Head Of Business also came and thanked us on the handover day. Marshall VW MK, all their staff, in particular Elliott are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended car dealership.

I booked my honda motor cyc!e today, monday, for a service at Marshall honda motor cycles in Reading.
Booked the bike in which was fine.
I was due to meet my daughter at Reading railway station at 0930 and head back to Swindon where we live.
As we are in the middle of an exceptional heatwave, I'm over 70 years old , have had serious heart surgery, in my full motor cycle kit, I asked about 5 persons if I could have a list to the station, about 1.5 miles. I asked, motor cycle service dept, motor cycle sales, car service and sale. Absolutely no one could be bothered to drop me off at the station, 10 minutes in a car. Everyone said they were, busy, even though all asked were just, sitting around talking. What a dreadful customer care service, on one of the hottest days of the year. I own a BMW and a mini, where the customer service at D... Lovett is exeptional, nothing is too much for them. I won't be using your dealership to buy/or service my motor cycle ever again and certainty won't recommend you to anyone.
I did walk to the station in this exceptional heat wave wearing all my motor cycle gear, ( minus my helmet) having to stop several times on the way, luckily I didn’t collapse with heat exhaustion. Thank you Marshall Honda for your lack of understanding and an exceptionally poor service.

Domenique Maugham – Outstanding 5★ service from start to finish
If you’re not 100% sure what you need, these guys will genuinely take the time to help you figure it out properly.
I had an excellent experience with Domenique Maugham. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. He listened extremely well and understood exactly what I was looking for. From start to finish, he made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and I really appreciated the care and attention he put into helping.
This was 5-star service at its absolute finest. I would 1000% recommend Domenique Maugham and Marshall Skoda Medway to anyone looking for a new car.
Test drive
He asked what I was looking for in a car, then took me on a very detailed test drive across different types of roads. It was genuinely impressive and very well thought through. He was very attentive throughout and made the experience comfortable and informative. Best test drive I’ve had. I wasn’t sure about which colour I wanted, and he was very helpful—he even parked the car we test drove next to others in the colours we were considering so I could get a proper comparison. There was no pressure at any point—just genuine help to figure out what I needed, and Dom really helped with that.
I’d recommend Domenique Maugham to anyone—guaranteed you’ll get great service.
Thank you so much, Dom 😊

Izzy and Mike were great (again)....it's the 2nd Inster we bought from that dealership in the last few years. The cars - and deal - and service - and comms - were perfect. I'm also a long time (multi franchise) Marshall new car customer and keep coming back because they always seem to consistently offer the best deals and service across all the marques. Give Izzy and Mike a try for your next Hyundai. I'm not local to them but it was worth the drive.

After seeing a suitable vehicle on there website, I went for a viewing at the showroom. I was able to browse the cars hassle free, when required the sales assistant was very helpful. My experience so far with Marshall Nissan Grantham has be great. Car ordered and now awaiting a delivery date. At this time, I'm happy to recommend Marshall Nissan if you're looking for a vehicle.

We went to look at a Honda Civic, at the Honda store in Hull. We were approached by a young lad, who seemed at first very nice. Until he asked what car we currently drove. I informed him we drive a BMW 5 series. He then laughed in our face and said “so you’ve come to Honda to look for a car that works”. Me and my husband were both shocked and couldn’t quite believe what we were hearing. I explained to the young sales assistant that “we love our 5 series, and it has never gone”. He laughed again and just went on to make fun of us for buying the car, and how unreliable it is. Again, our 5 series hasn’t broken down once. We became a laughing stock, which was a feeling either me or my husband have ever felt before and it felt horrible.
He then went on to be no help what so ever answering any of our questions about the Honda civic.
We were so disheartened we just walked out on the sales assistant.
I would’ve made this complaint sooner, but due to ill health I’ve been unable too.
I have never come across such rude and horrifying customer service. It made me and my husband, feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

My car is a 22 reg Q2. I bought it with a 1 year warranty and have done less than 5,000 miles since purchase. The rear tail-light has fogged...no accident, no damage to light, it has simply fogged. They are refusing to replace the light under warranty. I expect more from Audi Tunbridge Wells. Hi Izzy@marshall motor group. I have emailed you twice...still waiting for a reply. This has been an on going issue from 21st of MAY! Very Poor

Had my discovery sport recovered to Marshall Land Rover in Bedford by Marshall Assist (this bit was pretty slick), after seeing a critical oil warning on the dash. Obvs checked the oil level, which was ok, so popped in my TopDon OBD to discover a code for Piston Cooling Jets - so not drivable without risking serious engine damage according to some quick research.
I’ve had the car less than 1 month, I’m told that to get THEIR diagnostics done will take around 2 weeks and it could be another 2 weeks to wait for parts and do the work.
Unbelievable!! 2 weeks to get diags done - and until that’s done, I’m not entitled to a courtesy vehicle.
This is the straw that has broken the camel’s back for me. I purchased from Marshall for peace of mind based on previous fairly positive experiences. This time, there were minor issues right through the purchase, wrong parts ordered and delivered, collection dates pushed back twice, and seemingly utter chaos in the service department at the Marshall dealership I purchased from (Not Bedford). The sales team were on it and it’s easy to see how frustrated they were, and tried their best to keep things going in the right direction. I’m staggered, however, beyond belief to discover the number of and nature of faults with the vehicle. There’s no way the OBD was checked before this car was collected.
Will I buy from Marshall again? Over the last 20 years, I’ve purchased around 10 vehicles from Marshall, some new, some used.
Never, ever again. I’m now stuck without my vehicle, which is used to pull our caravan for family holidays for up to 4 weeks through the summer - now facing cancelling long standing, family plans.
There’s no thought whatsoever on customer impact, and as for warranty claims being processed quickly and efficiently (as per warranty doc) / seriously… when Marshall engineers have a backlog of 2 weeks (Supposedly… and what I was told) just to run diagnostics which take a few minutes? Come on…. I’ve already given you the codes, you just need to plug in, verify, and order the parts!!
Get your act together and have a thought for customer experience.
Is it acceptable to leave customers who have just spent thousands of pounds on a vehicle, without access to it, or a courtesy vehicle while it sits, for 2 weeks awaiting someone to even take a look? The answer, Marshall Motor Group, is NO! It’s not.
By the time I get this back it’s likely to have been sat longer with you awaiting repairs than I’ve had time enjoying the vehicle. Beyond furious!
Despite the canned response below from Marshall, the broken promises on getting me into a replacement vehicle, I am still without my vehicle for 8 days, and now told I’m without it for yet another weekend.
What an absolute joke. No ownership, no accountability and complete failure of customer service.
I can see how hard the people in sales and service work - this isn’t their fault, it’s senior leaders that need kicking

Marshall Land Rover Gloucester & Cheltenham:-
My old D4 Landie did what all good Landies do when it’s really inconvenient and you’re 500 miles from home. Contacted Marshall in Gloucester and spoke to Pete who was excellent over the phone. Next day I took my Landie in (fault having done what all good faults do - clear itself). Pete popped the car in and hooked it up and had a look at what was going on. Yes there was a part that was faulty (replaced by the AA 6 months previously). But I was assured I’d be able to get it home to Aberdeen even if I had to stop once or twice to clear the fault. Wish our main dealer in Aberdeen were as good as Marshall and I did not have to go north of Aberdeen to Elgin to find a good dealer to do any significant work. Thank you Pete for being a good human.

I am disappointed with the service I have received from Marshall Motor Group regarding my salary sacrifice vehicle order.
The vehicle was advertised as a stock vehicle, and I signed the contract in mid-April expecting a straightforward and timely process. However, communication throughout has been extremely poor.
I have requested updates multiple times through the online portal but have never received a response. Instead, I have had to chase for information by telephone. On one occasion, I was advised that the vehicle was at the PDI stage and would be ready within two weeks. After waiting the advised period and contacting them again, I have now been told it could be another one to two weeks.
While I appreciate that delays can occur, the lack of proactive communication and the inability to provide a confirmed delivery date have made the experience unnecessarily frustrating. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase for updates, especially after purchasing what was advertised as a stock vehicle.
Unfortunately, based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend their service due to the poor communication and lack of transparency throughout the process.

I would like to give my sincere thanks to James at VW Kidlington, who supported us in finding and purchasing our new family car!
From start to finish, James was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and ensured that the entire process was smooth and stress-free. His expertise and attention to detail gave me complete confidence throughout the purchase.
It is clear that James takes great pride in his work at VW and when the time comes for our next car, we will definitely be asking for James.
Thanks James!!

I bought a 2016 Hyundai i20 from Marshalls Hyundai Worcester in October 2023. I purchased 2 years additional warranty.
On 10th October 2025, the engine warning light came on, resulting in the car having to be transported home. Marshalls indicated that they would not be able to look at the vehicle until 2nd December 2025 at the earliest, unless it was sent to them being towed. To try and speed the process along I paid for the AA to take my car to the Marshalls garage. The car required a replacement engine, which it was eventually agreed would be done under the warranty.
I constantly contacted for updates, and was always advised there was no update. On 26th November 2025, due to issues with my husband’s car, I had to take a hire car from Marshalls, which I collected at 3pm. I again asked (in person this time) for an update on my car. There was no update. On 28th November 2025, I received a call telling me that my car was ready. I collected my car and returned the hire car, again before 3pm. I was charged for 3 full days hire. I was advised that the new engine came with 3 months warranty.
On 3rd December 2025, the engine warning light came back on. On 4th December 2025, I called Marshalls and spoke to James Commander. I asked if a diagnostic could be done to determine the issue. I was told there would be a cost. I disputed this, as the car had just been repaired. I was advised someone would call me back. I received no contact. I called Marshalls weekly, with no return calls. In March 2026, I begin using the online chat on the Marshalls website. I still received no contact. Eventually (and in my opinion conveniently) I managed to get hold of someone once the 3 month warranty had expired. I was advised that the issue was the camshaft sensor. This was replaced on 23rd April 2026 at a cost of £136.26. The engine light returned on 24th April 2026. The car went back to Marshalls on 30th April 2026 and I was advised that a diagnostic would need to be done, at a cost of £540. At this point, I requested the complaints procedure, and was given the details of the After Service Manager, Halle Magness. I did agree for the diagnostic to be done, as I cannot be without a car, although I asked for someone to speak with the warranty company to see if anything was covered. I chased for a response on 6th May 2026, as yet again I received no response. I have been told they have no records at all of me making contact.
On 8th May 2026, I emailed my full complaint. I received a reply on the same day. I was offered £200 off the diagnostic, and a refund for the camshaft sensor. I was also given options of (dependent on repair cost) to pay via Marshall Flexi-Pay, or a car swap. I asked for the diagnostic to be done, and to see the cost before discussing those options.
The car went for the diagnostic, and I was sent a quote for almost £2500. This was wrong, due to the cost of the diagnostic not being reduced. I made contact with Halle Magness to now discuss options. I received no reply. I did receive a reduced quote, totalling £1795.61. I agreed to proceed, as I was now at the point I needed to get away from Marshalls.
I dropped my car on the evening of 28th May 2026, ready for repair on 29th May 2026. I advised that I would collect on 30th May 2026. On 29th May 2026, I received a phone call stating that a further issue had been identified. This would be repaired free of charge, but the car would not be ready until 1st June 2026. On 1st June 2026, I received a call stating that they “wanted to do a really good road test” and the car wouldn’t be ready until 2nd June 2026. On 2nd June 2026, I received a phone call. A crack had been found in the engine casing, and the car wouldn’t be ready until 3rd June 2026. On 3rd June 2026, at 1.50pm I called to see if the car was ready. I was advised that the part had arrived, but the repair had not begun. I was advised I would be updated. At 4.30pm, I called again. The car was repaired but the engine had been sealed and needed to be left until the following morning. I collected the car at 8.15am on 4th June 2026. I was given an incorrect invoice to pay and had to advise the correct amounts.
The service I have received from Marshalls Hyundai Worcester has been shocking, and I would advise anyone to avoid Marshalls if you can.

My wife's Skoda Elroq has developed an Aircon fault with an error message saying take to workshop and no working Aircon currently with temperatures rising above 25c as we speak. I tried ringing the Milton Keynes service desk yesterday and couldn't get through, when I did get through was told there was no one on the Service Desk to take the call. So last night I booked it in using the Marshall online booking system as an "other" issue. Got a slot on Monday morning no problem and a confirmation email. I've just received a call this morning to say they can't see it on Monday because it's an 'investigation' rather than a paid for service item and earliest date is 15th July. This is ridiculous prioritising paid work such as a brake fluid change or similar over fault investigation/warranty work, the online booking system has loads of slots between now and then. If a technician is available surely they should be able to do any type of work regardless, this is extremely poor customer service particularly when it involves a less than 1 year old car. We'll be raising with Skoda UK to find out if this is standard practice as it's a great way to put people off buying a Skoda as their next vehicle. We are a 2 x Skoda EV family and will definitely re-consider buying Skoda again if this is the priority given to warranty investigations

We had a lovely experience buying a used Kona through Matthew Rodgers this week. He was excellent, communicated with us throughout and was really clear and helpful. He gave us a good deal that we were happy with and no hard sell on the extras which we appreciated. He was kind and patient when we asked silly questions and gave us lots of guidance, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It was also really interesting to talk to him about the range of cars and he gave us some insight into the market, which we enjoyed! It was in all a pleasure dealing with Matt and we are happy customers. Thanks to Matt for all your help!

I cannot praise the team at Dartford highly enough for the outstanding service I recently received.
My Skoda Fabia, which I use as my learner vehicle for driving instruction, unfortunately developed an automatic gearbox fault while still within its three-year warranty period. As you can imagine, I was extremely concerned about how long the repair process might take, as any downtime directly impacts my business and my students.
After initially being advised by the generic call centre that it could take between six and eight weeks just to secure an appointment, I was understandably worried. However, the team at Dartford completely turned the situation around. They managed to squeeze me in within just five days and, even more impressively, diagnosed and resolved the issue within a single day.
A special mention must go to Abbie, who was an absolute customer service superstar from start to finish. She understood the predicament I was in, kept me fully updated throughout the process, and demonstrated genuine care and professionalism at every stage. The communication from Abbie and the wider team was exemplary, giving me complete confidence that my vehicle was in the best possible hands.
The way the team managed the entire situation was nothing short of magnificent. Their efficiency, understanding, and commitment to customer service exceeded all my expectations. It's rare to encounter a team that combines technical expertise with such a high level of customer care, but that is exactly what I experienced.
I am a huge fan of the Dartford team and cannot thank Abbie and everyone involved enough for helping me get back on the road so quickly.
My only minor gripe is that extended warranties are not available for commercial vehicles, which is a shame given how valuable the cover can be. That said, it does not detract from what was otherwise a first-class experience.
Thank you again to Abbie and the entire team for your exceptional service. You are a credit to the Skoda brand.

Great experience and fabulous service from OMODA and Jaecoo Gatwick Dealership. I dealt with Ben right from initial inquiry to handover of car. He has been amazing all through out the process. Never pressured to buy any products, explained everything several times, and answered loads of emails in timely fashion. The dealership actually offered better deal than initial offer - so they genuinely look after the customers and do the best possible outcome where possible. Highly recommend Ben and the dealership- I am going to come back here for servicing as well.

Tried to buy a car from Marshall skoda oxford which was distance sale. They misrepresented the cars condition twice in emails to induce me into buying the car. On arrival the car had lots of issues. They also tried to reduce my trade in by 3000 pounds for something basic which was sorted for free and they refused to exchange cars, unless i paid 3000 pounds extra. They admitted that they push staff to keep valuations low on purpose. I am now almost a year in, they still have my car and won't continue with sale. I have lost over 6000 pounds in solicitors fees and costs. Marshalls have been making threats and constantly ignoring emails and delaying any settlement. I have had to goto the Financial Ombudsman. I have also raised this as far as the head of Marshall Skoda and they still wont agree a reasonable settlement.
