Worst agent I have ever had
Made a stressful process a lot worse.
Nearly lost our purchase because of them but luckily found another agent who did the job they were paid to do.
Wish there was an option for zero stars.
Avoid at all costs.

Recently purchased a house through Martin and Co.
All in all a reasonably smooth transaction with a great team in particular thanks to Josh for going the extra mile and resolving problems late in the purchase very professional

I would not recommend to anyone to use their bad service. They are very dishonest and do not represent you and your interest rather just finding ways to take your money. They took off money from my deposit for no reason. So be careful!

Good luck getting any repairs done. Oh, they'll keep putting the rent up, but maintenance...none existant.
Date of experience: Nearly two years ago... Still ongoing.

I have been going through a tricky period with regard to my property and previous letting agents. Also with regard to probate property transition and a difficult tenancy. David and the team have been absolutely marvellous. They've been proactive and given advice and support every step of the way.

Following my previous post... I had another emergency at the property and no one from Martin and Co were available to help. I find it appalling that there is no "out of office" number to call in emergency. This can leave tenants in rather terrible situations. Something must be done about their system. There needs to be a number to contact after office hours are closed. I'm referring to the Derby office.

Complaints about a property Martin and Co manage ignored, never call me back, always me chasing them for months. Countless promises made and nothing, not even calling me back!

Despite all the positive words on their website, the lived experience doesn't match.
