The house buying process was made easier, by the estate agent Matthew Port. He couldn't have been more helpful.

Gemma Daniels-Pearce at Martin and Co was an awful experience for me.
Recieved notice of eviction based on what she was thinking, not gonna pay the rent basis.
Previously had a visit from house owner and spoken to them, very nice people, they granted us permission to stay another 3 years.
House is very well maintained, also back yard.
An verbal agreement was made for rent not to rise for the next 3 years, between us and owner.
That's when hell abrupt.
Was about doing 2 payments for that month rent . Finally found a steady job and was happy about it.
During 3 years tenancy it happened to do two payments, but never exceeded term in contract. (That's few days delay)
Mentioned to house owner as well. He said he understands and it is no problem.

Martin Co tried desperately to increase price of the house repeatedly, doing zero maintenance.
Had to wait 3 years to be able to open 3 blocked windows.
Obviously the house owner was the last person to know about maintenance issues.
As a consequence we had to pay for everything, when an issue rose.
Martin and Co , represented by Gemma Daniels-Pearce, denied everything and decided to throw us in the street by serving us eviction notice.
We have even our accounts deleted from system.
Also Gemma Daniels-Pearce mentioned over the phone that the email was self generated, the one in which we been accused in many ways and sent to landlord, as a consequence eviction was made.
Any contact was broken between us and landlord since. With total refuse from Martin and Co to provide us with an direct answer from house owner.
When contacted and spoken about our situation with other Martin and Co members, we got only showlders lifted, this being a testimony that this is a common practice at this company, and senior lettings agents can do whatever they want, when they want,to whoever they want.
Disgusting experience.
Will never use this company.

Matthew at Martin & Co was excellent. He was supportive of our delicate situation and helped with all aspects of selling and buying. Highly recommend.

We used Martin &Co Sutton Coldfield as the Estate Agents to sell our home,which went very smoothly,despite a few hitches at the beginning.

Steven did a couple of excellent job for me, in help to buying and letting the property recently, I found Steven is very professional knowledgeable is an exceptional individual, very skilful, quick mind and very efficient throughout, he answers all the email and phone call promptly, as always, the guy is amazing and passionate love his work. I would give him 6 stars if they have. I certainly would like recommend Martin & Co and Steven particular to anyone, my family and friends.

I have found this company to be very professional and helpful in the management of my mother’s property that I let on her behalf.
They reply emails and telephone queries : their front line reception staff to their manager is helpful and always willing to sort out problems well.
I have been able to adopt a hands off approach during this letting year, where as my experience with two other letting agents was anything but that.
I also feel their professionalism extends to looking after both parties well .. the tenant and the landlord.
I would definitely recommend them for lettings.

If I can give no star I definitely will, Poor service, never responds to your phone calls and staffs are all about giving you misinformation. Stay well away from this company.

Wouldn’t bother with this company they allow the home owners to discrimnate against you if your on benifits the attitudes we got was disgraceful totally disgusting
