So pleased we purchased the air conditioning unit which has been put to good use!
The supplier made it clear that this was a pre order. It arrived safely but I think given the cost of the unit, a bit more clarity or comms in advance of the unit arriving would have been helpful. We were lucky that one of us happened to be working from home.
Cost wise, very competitive and when I was looking, it was the only place which allowed a pre order which was great.

I have the Meacodry Arete one 20L Dehumidifier & air purifier Areteone20L! It has been amazing 🤩 it has stoped the mould and damp in my house 🤩👍dried washing 👍🤩and purified air 👍🤩 brilliant for allergy sufferers👍🤩 would highly recommend. Damaged item
Damaged item . Refused replacement as not reported in 24 hours . Manufacturer advise is not to turn item on for 24 hours . Plus was bank holiday and phone lines have been down . Spoke to manufacturer and they are sorting this out for us . But I would never use there sister site again as they are braking the law by refusing to sort this plus there policies as not correct or in line with the manufacturer advise

We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with the outcome of your case. However, we would like to clarify that we did not refuse to resolve the issue.
When you contacted us regarding the damage and explained you had called, we did advise that we could arrange for the item to be collected and, upon receipt, provide either a replacement or a refund depending on stock levels. We therefore did offer a resolution and attempted to assist in resolving the matter for you.
We appreciate that the timing was complicated by the Bank Holiday weekend and the manufacturer's advice not to switch the unit on immediately. However, we do feel it is unfair to suggest that we refused to help, as a return and replacement/refund option was offered after further review on Thursday.

Unfortunately, due to extremely high demand during the recent heatwave, there was an issue with stock availability updating correctly on the website, which resulted in orders being placed for items that were no longer available. We’re very disappointed this happened and the issue has already been raised internally as a priority to help prevent this happening again in future.

Ordering Dehumidifer - Problems?
It is now two days since I tried placing an order for a dehumidifier found on their website. I was given a code after subscribing which allowed me a discount of 5%. In fact the Code is stated to be an error. I telephoned yesterday both numbers & did receive a quick automated response that I found to be too quiet and consequently could not understand. I proceeded to forward an EMail and yet a further one this morning plus requested a reply via their CHAT link. However so far totally unsuccessful? It was through Trust Pilot UK that I found the what appeared to be a most outstanding Company selling a quality dehumidifier - I trust then they will eventually fulfill that role?
As I preferred not to be pushed to back of queue I have placed my order with another Company - same model, same filters but a superior deal!

Total incompetence, I have no fan they’ve got my money and won’t answer the phone or email…
I waited in six till 12 on Saturday no-show with the driver I paid 499 to have it delivered the next day instead of the Tuesday which they said . stayed in six till 12 phone DPD they said the parcel went missing a couple of days ago. Absolutely ridiculous. phoned third-party seller continuously all day said they were closed phone back between nine and five jokers.

DPD have since confirmed the parcel went missing in transit, and we completely understand how disappointing this was after you had waited in for the delivery. We will be feeding this back directly to DPD, as the unit should have been attempted for delivery on Friday.
We’d also like to apologise for the difficulty contacting us by phone. Due to the recent surge in demand for air conditioning units and fans, we’ve received more than triple our usual contact volumes and our phone lines are temporarily unavailable while we work through enquiries as quickly as possible. Our voicemail message does advise customers to contact us via email during this period.
DPD have since advised that delivery is scheduled for today between 12pm and 1pm. We’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused
