It was yet again another very positive and reassuring experience. Vet was lovely. He handled my excitable miniature schnauzer really well. Bad news about his teeth but not unexpected at his age. Everything else was all good. Excellent advice on my dogs reaction to stressful events. Thank you so much.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Popped in for my boys vaccinations and a health check, was in and out in no time with minimal stress to my dog. He gets more stressed when having his nails cut than going to the vets which is a relief. The lady on reception was lovely, clearly an animal lover which is always appreciated in their job!

The nurse was very good with my boy who is not very good with strangers. The whole experience was great.

This was my second appointment after joining 2 weeks ago and although my first experience was great at 5 stars I can't give that for this follow up appointment I had today.
The appointment was late and then rushed with no real check on my dogs ear condition. Although I opted out of a swab test over confusion, I still had to ask the vet to look into the ears which was reluctant to do, with that he did not have correct equipment for my dogs ear size so made not real effort there.
Also after previously phoning to have her nails cut he then told me did not have time as his next was waiting. This I find disappointing and devalued as a customer as I to had to wait past my appointment time. After all that then to find there was no nurse to assist with nail cutting and would have to wait a fair while untill or rebook even thoe I did call to arrange this already.
Did not leave here happy and satisfied like last time.

Always good service and advice, just routine vist on this occasion.

I had five different quotes all different for the same thing with different amounts of money. Then they asked me to bring the exact amount of money when I didn't know what it would be because it was only an estimated.

Only one vet working can't see my dog that's in agony absolute disgrace they really don't care avoid at all costs if you love your fur babies shocking

I have always had great service from Pontefract Medivet. The staff are lovely. Sadly this changed today. I requested some more pain medication last Thursday for pickup Monday and was told they’d action this. I rang on Monday (today) to find they hadn’t got a Vet at all to sign the prescription off. In fact they’d had NO VET since Thursday !! I wasn’t told that on Thursday ! I’m quite shocked by this. I was told they could try another practice for the meds but it wasn’t guaranteed. So it looks like I’m looking for a new Vets. So sad. We’ve used this vets for 11 years. Beyond disappointing.

Beware of the Aberdare, South Wales vet practice. My cat was found on Maerdy mountain in September last year (I live in Rhondda), and a very kind lady took her in, but my cat became ill. The lady took her to this vets. They were told she was a stray, yet they never scanned her to check for ownership. This resulted in them deciding that she was pregnant and that they booked her in for a "kill spay" as the lady who found her couldn't look after the kittens too. If they had scanned her, like any reputable vet would have done, they'd have found out that she was 14, already spayed, and that I was the owner. But instead, they cut her open, found that there were no ovaries, and that she had an enlarged spleen. So they decided to close her up and let her suffer. She consequently had to be put to sleep. Shameful! So, like I said, BEWARE!

We've taken our new kitten to be spayed, chipped, and have her flea treatment.,
She was fine and up to her mischievous ways after 6/7 days.
We have always found the staff to be friendly and professional.

Made us feel very welcome,let us take our time to make the decision for my cat to be put to sleep,very professional and good with what they do xxxx

More than a year I haven't used website and asked many times to fix. Also, I don't receive invoice neither. Their electric service is very armature. Staff is kind and friendly.

We have been with Witten lodge for almost 20 years with our pets and they are always fabulous.

My cats and I have been with this veterinary practice for many years and have always been pleased with the care and consideration shown to us. Everyone here is friendly and helpful and I would recommend them totally.

I really love this Dalston branch of Medivet and have been using it for years. All of the reception staff are very friendly and helpful and seem to have quite a good knowledge about animals and their psychology but the real reason I love this branch is because they have an exceptional veterinarian called Huw. He was recommended to me by a friend and he has an incredible calmness and rapport with even the most nervous of dogs. Always happy to examine the dog on the floor. If it doesn’t want to be on the table he’s completely honest doesn’t try and get you to do unnecessary procedures and his knowledge is 2nd to none. Medivet are very lucky to have this fact working in their practice because he really is exceptionally good. Better than any, but I’ve seen Robert veterinary College hello or any of the competition. It doesn’t look trendy. It just is clean organised and you’re not paying for trendy marketing. You’re paying for quite simply GOOD and in case of Hugh exceptionally good veterinary care.
