April the 1st (yes, I know April fool’s day and was made one of them by Microglobe) I ordered a strap for my Cannon Camera. I waited, no strap. So, I phoned them only to be told all of their computers were down and they would get back to me, they didn't. So, I followed that up with an E Mail, no reply to that. Waited a few more days phoned again but I started by confirming that their computers were up and running. The answer this time was I am out of the office but I put your order in the post yesterday morning. I'm still while other items ordered at the same with other companies have arrived. I leave it up the reader of this post to decide if this is nothing but a scam site. In my personal opinion it is, he takes your money but you don't get the item you paid for

I orders a pair of Helios Binoculars on March 13, and I was surprised to receive them just two days later on March 15. Right off the box, I found them easy to use which was such a relief. Had a few questions along the way regarding zooming settings and I got a quick response and they were very helpful. I really appreciate their fair pricing and the overall service I received. It was a great experience.
Purchased an item from Microglobe…
Purchased an item from Microglobe (trading as ASTROSKY) on Amazon. The delivered item was NOT what was ordered. I was told via telephone that this was Amazons fault and to return it and the item would be replaced.
After I had purchased the item the price was raised to near twice as much. I returned the item by tracked 24 Royal Mail.
The item was NOT replaced but I was refunded.
I feel cheated as this item is still in stock and should have been replaced.
It is possible the seller deliberately sent the wrong item in order to secure the higher price.
Dubious business .. avoid. You have been warned.

Be aware if ordering from abroad. I ordered a Canon lens hood, initially the delivery charge of 8 pounds was included in the PayPal transaction, a day later they make me pay 26 pounds more for delivery, and this for an item that is 200 grams, unbelievable! Just a way of making money. I often order from the UK and it is not this expensive for a small item.
Very Bad, Buyer Beware!!!
Had to return an item. Sent recorded delivery but company claims they dont have it and refuse to give a refund. Looks like i will have to get my money back from Paypal instead. Best avoid and go with a more reputable company. Lesson Learned !!!

I live in the U.S. I needed a new motherboard for my telescope mount. They where the only ones that had it at a reasonable price. I sent a few e-mails and got a response each time. I ordered my board and it showed up in the U.S. within 2 days. I couldn't believe it. Service in the US isn't close to what I got with Microglobe!!! You guys are awesome.
I got my thing within 2 days
I ordered my thing 11pm. Order confirmation received. Order processing confirmation email received the next day. My thing arrived the day after that.
I can't fault them. I've never used them before so was cautious about parting with £400. But all went well.
Microglobe is a real shop near the British Museum. Those small London backstreets don't allow for mega stores. But they do seem to have an impressive inventory stored somewhere.
There is some quirk with the current order workflow that told me "this token has already been used" but upon checking Paypal only one transaction took place. I've reported this to them and I'm sure they'll sort it out.
I used these guys because the thing I wanted was either out of stock or over priced elsewhere. I got a good deal and the package was very well protected.

Dubious dealer
I ordered an item there for the first time, which is not available anywhere in my home country Germany. So I decide to order from another country. In this example from UK from the retailer Microglobe.
I placed the order in the online store, and also gave my address in Germany. The shipping costs were accordingly higher. One day later I received an unfounded cancellation of my order, which surprised me very much, because the article was shown as in stock. I have then asked why the cancellation was carried out. I was then informed that the article was supposedly ordered twice, although I was sure that I had ordered only once. Anyway, I was suddenly asked for another payment of 24 pounds, and that I should pay this via Paypal. I did not agree, because I have already placed the order at the appropriate price. After my complaint is suddenly noticed that it should actually only be 12 pounds. With reluctance I have sent the amount still after. The whole thing seems very unserious to me. I then decided to cancel the order. I sent a mail asking for immediate cancellation. One day later the goods were shipped anyway my e-mail was ignored. This is an absolute impudence, and unserious. I do not recommend ordering here, I will not do it again.

I ordered a canon lens hood and it arrived the next day. Product was new, genuine and cheaper than elsewhere, so quite pleased.
Slight hiccup on payment using Paypal, as it seemed to want to charge me twice, but it sorted itself out.

I have always researched a companies reviews before making a purchase. Yes I have seen a lot of negative reviews on here, but the amount of positive reviews on their eBay site is amazing. Also a negative experience is more than likely to be written about rather than positive.
At the end of the day reviews can be false and there really is only one way of finding out, that is to deal with them yourself.
I wanted a pair of Celestron marine binoculars. I contacted the company via email and I had very quick replies which were also polite. I ordered the item on Sunday and they were delivered on Tuesday morning. They were very well packaged. They have a clear sharp image. So my experience was very positive and on that note if anybody asked me I would recommend them.
