How it's supposed to be.,..

In need of a replacement battery for my Canon 1DX, I'd almost given up hope of tracking one down until I happened upon the relevant page on the Microglobe website - not only on the site, but IN STOCK.

The price very fair, delivery was extremely rapid, and - when there was a little confusion over delivery times and methods - Microglobe's communications were timely, precise and helpful.

All in all I could not be happier with how Microglobe has looked after me.

It's a well-worn meme, but in this case it's true: I WILL - happily - buy from them again.

Prompt Delivery

Cannot fault the actual service - processed and despatched promptly after order. I'm clinging on to one star only because on checking order details for update, it did not show order status beyond "processing" even though it had already been despatched.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

i ordered a pair of helios binoculars on july 22nd, and received them on july 24th. One look thru these was enough to return them, as not sharp at all. Sent recorded delivery, they got them back on july 28th. 14 e-mails later, now august 27th, still no refund, despite being told it would be done. My account has been blocked, and my e-mails ignored. very bsad service, stuff they sell on ebay, under optics land, has a 20% markup. AVOID

Hmmm, did not go well.

Placed an order with these guys, nothing happened for over a week, emailed, called, nothing. Like shouting into the void. In the end my money was refunded, which is good, but no communication at all from Microglobe, cancelling my account. Terrible customer service. I advise shop elsewhere…

Surprisingly pleasant experience

I have to admit, I was sceptical given the number of negative reviews.
However my experience has been fine.
Placed an order on Tuesday afternoon. The day after the status of the order changed from "pending" to "processing".
There was no update on the website, however the item just arrived today (Friday).

Only room for improvement really is in the communication around the state of the order. The current:
"pending" -> "processing" -> nothing
Leaves you feeling a bit lost and worried regarding the state of the order. This is exacerbated by the poor reputation on Trustpilot.

very good stock of products & ultra-fast shipping

I was in two minds after reading other reviews on TP, but microglobe were the only ones who had the equipment I needed & in stock, so I emailed them to confirm they had available for next day shipping. They replied back straight away, so I ordered using PayPal & crossed my fingers -- and got it within 2 days! I was so impressed that I went back & repeated the process (email to check stock; then order) for another, more expensive product -- and got that too, within 2 days, again. I have only praise for the microglobe team -- they replied quickly to all my emails, they shipped both orders ultra-fast, and the products arrived in perfect condition... Their website is not much to look at, but it works & their good service makes up for it -- I will not hesitate to order again.

Everything spot on.

Received 20x80 Visionary binoculars within 2 days.
They were packed very well indeed, no way could they have been damaged in transit.
They are real quality binoculars and were far cheaper than anywhere else on the internet.
Microglobe would be the first port of call next time I require any such item again.

We ordered on the 17th Dec 2021 and…

We ordered on the 17th Dec 2020 and still have not received the item or a refund. They have strung us along so long now that we can't get a charge back through Visa or help from Ebay either as it gone on to long. We got caught with Brexit allowing for the delays that caused and we believed them when they said they had sent the item again in Feb 2021. It's now April and we are too late to get help with a refund!! F...... SCAMMERS!!!!! Don't order from them!!

Poor company, poor service.

Poor company. Non existent customer service and poor communication. Not responding to messages on website and emails for ages, sending goods showing signs of use in non manufacturer packaged condition, delaying refund. Had to involve PayPal to get refund on returned item. Once you order you do not get e-mail confirmation of an order.

If the item is 'In Stock' it will arrive next day.

I must admit I was a bit sceptical when I read some of the reviews but I can only rate them as really good. Over the last couple of weeks I've placed 4 separate orders. All items were showing as In Stock for Next Day Delivery and every single order arrived the next day. I queried my first order as the website only ever shows 'processing' for an order which I think puts some people off but I got an answer to my WhatsApp message within a few minutes complete with tracking number. Don't expect any emails about order confirmations or dispatch notifications, they don't send them. An update to their site to provide a bit more information on the progress of an order would make a big difference though.

This company is dishonest and unethical…

This company is dishonest and unethical to say the least. Having made a purchase internationally for a tripod that wasn’t available anywhere else at the time, I was contacted by the company advising me that they would not ship my item citing the unavailability of a reliable courier and that the price they charged me through there online checkout was not enough. Argh ok whatever so I reply asking for the return of my payment and am told it will be ASAP. Nearly a month later and no refund and no response to my follow up emails and even a WhatsApp message. I have contacted my card issuer and they have assured me that they will recover the payment for me. Still waiting for that but am hopeful. I recommend based on my experience that other would be buyers stay the hell away from this company.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt but...

The wrong product was delivered (albeit in the correct packaging) so I contacted the company to arrange a return.They provided a pre-paid return label and I immediately sent the item back. Unfortunate, but a smooth experience so far.

More than 2 weeks later I checked the return tracking and found out it was delivered 6 days prior. I hadn't heard anything from the company so I emailed requesting an update and refund. Here's where my experience took a nosedive.

I left it a whole week to give them an opportunity to respond, but nothing. I sent another email and gave them 3 more days to respond, again nothing. After that I sent a courteous email saying that I was going to open a claim with PayPal, still nothing.

After opening the PayPal claim, I waited another 4 days, but they didn't even respond to that. I have now escalated the claim to a dispute and they have another 10 days to respond to PayPal before this is (hopefully) resolved.

I have given them an opportunity at every turn to put this right and they have simply ignored me. Luckily, they provided a tracked return label and I used PayPal so I have a way of recovering my money. I will update this review with any new info.

Worst company I've ever come across

Ordered a telescope early November, as an intended christmas gift. I paid the shipping fee they suggested, but later they contacted me asking for ADDITIONAL shipping fees. I was hesitant to this, but could undertand that perhaps they had made a mistake.

Now it's February, still no telescope in sight - and they don't answer phone calls or emails. Nice huh

Barr & stroud 8x25 Sahara binoculars.

Ordered a pair of, Barr & Stroud 8x25 Sahara binoculars, on, Sunday evening. They were the cheapest price online, received them two days later, well packaged and, in perfect condition! Was very pleased with my purchase, as well as the prompt delivery!! 👍 And just to add, great binos for the price..... Well pleased!!
