If I could give Microsoft customer services zero I would. I have never dealt with a company that doesn’t care less about their customers. They’re too big to care and it stinks. I’m out of pocket for Microsoft 365 for a programme I can’t use. They want me to go to my bank to get my money back. Absolutely ridiculous.

Purchased a software download and received a link that went to a dead page. OK, websites get problems so call microsoft: 3.5 hours later after speaking to 6 people with a very slight understanding of English I have got nowhere. First of all I had to go through ridiculous security questions and options. I don't have to do this with any other online store so why for Microsoft? Why?
Then, despite showing me EN-GB and being logged into my UK account it wouldn't let me purchase because I don't live in a US state. Why?
When, after much frustration, I eventually persuaded the store that I'm in the UK, it wouldnt let me pay by PayPal (why?)
Everytime I have had to purchase from Microsoft the experience has been truly appaling. Microsoft seem intent on making the experience as difficult and frustrating as humanly possible.

Poor quality control, and delivery dates postponed with more than one month
Ordered a Surface Pro 8 and Type Cover. Upon delivery the type cover was visibly broken (quality control?). Had to return it for a replacement and then it went silent. Had to call Microsoft and they finally admitted they made a mistake, and to make things worse the replacement was out of stock so they refunded.
After the refund was completed I took a look at the store, and behold, the Type Cover was in stock and could be delivered within 2-3 days.
Upon placing my order for the new Type Cover the delivery date was moved more than a month in the future. If I had knew I would have ordered somewhere else!
Really worst buyer- and aftersales experience I ever had on a premium product.

Ordered a computer monitor on Jan 25 and paid for "expedited shipping". A week later, no monitor and UPS shows package not received by sender. After 45 min on the phone, they said that the package was not sent (duh!). Now waiting another 3 days for product to arrive. I have my doubts now.

Purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator through this MS Store and in my experience over many years this has to the most unstable software I have ever known. I have a very powerful PC, and keep my PC clean with regular error checks, et. Very troublesome software.

Ordered an Xbox and some controllers. Microsoft have taken full payment but only sent part of my order. One of the controllers is out of stock but instead of sending it when it was back in stock they've just cancelled it and have said they're not sending it at all.
Microsoft are claiming they can do this but I'm not sure if they legally can keep all of my money but only send part of my order! Their communication and customer service are a joke, has to chase them a number of times and they just say they can't do anything and will escalate it but you never get an answer or a message back. I'm going to have to try and chargeback through my credit card to try and get some money back as I've exhausted all other avenues, I wasn't expecting such a mess from a company as big as Microsoft but they have such bad reviews on here it must be a common problem, they're absolute cowboys and I'm not sure this can even be legal!

Just tried to buy a pc version of Minecraft... You have to login to your Microsoft account. Payment won't go through. I've tried everything. I will ONLY pay by PayPal. I will NOT use a debit / credit card! I've tried two browsers. If you can't use Google Chrome to purchase this game, then all I say is it's p*ss poor! Jesus Microsoft, your supposed to be a leading software supplier and you make it virtually impossible to purchase something, let alone use it - more American trash. My patience is no more. I will no longer be "attempting" to buy the game.

Very disappointing…. I have waited since the 4th December and the Wireless Headphones I have ordered have still not been shipped . As per the other reviews I spoke to someone who took a lot longer than needed to tell me this and the they would escalate the issue and for me to expect a response within 3-6 days…. I would have expected a better service from such an organisation. My son won’t be getting his present this Christmas. It is sad that such an organisations treat you people this way…. My experience with Apple has been so much better and they can not be more helpful.. very disappointed in Microsoft they have a lot to learn..

Do not buy hardware such as controllers or anything else like that from this store! They will send it via UPS, the worst delivery service in the UK and you will almost assuredly have problems with your delivery. Avoid like the plague if your intention is to buy something that needs delivering to your door.
