False adverting that it was a smart kettle. Whe I want to exchange it and buy the more expensive kettle I'm yold you can't take the incorrect kettle cos it's used and unhygienic. What a load of nonsense.

Absolutely not trustworthy. Purchased a book from this site and within a few days there were multiple transactions using my card details in the UK. There was no other way this particular card could have been used. Do NOT use this site.

Had been on the lookout for a product for a really long time & was super excited when they listed it as in stock. Only for them to cancel my order because it was an “accident” that the NZ website had an international shipping option. Despite them stating on their website that they ship to Australia + listing the shipping times. So disappointed. They have said they will be refunding my order thankfully, I am yet to receive it although it hasn’t likely processed yet so I’m hoping that will all be sorted fine. Not saying I dislike the company or that I have been scammed or anything like that, was just a disappointing experience in general for me and a lot of friends who all placed order for a product we had been actively searching for for a long time. Hopefully they get their site to be more reliable in future so this doesn’t happen to anyone else

I purchased a Freddy Mercury pop vinyl back on November 11th 2021 and it was a back order item, when I followed up and I was advised the release date was December 31st which they’re aiming towards but date could change, okay I follow up again a few months later to be told nee release day 30th April then a few months after that same story still waiting.
This is absolutely BS I have waited 59 weeks that’s over 1 year now for a stupid pop vinyl toy that isn’t even on their website anymore so clearly they are not getting this in an have taken it off the website but yet I have doing it being sold on so many other websites.

I have now requested a refund since this company is so incompetent, I will never shop here again and be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience.

i've placed quite a few orders now with them & what was initially excellent, friendly customer service & reasonable value turned into quite a drop overall...
for one, their prices really aren't all that competitive - even compared to other australian sites.
then there's the issue of their 'price match' offer - tried it repeatedly & never ONCE has it been honoured - even when following their conditions...
items themselves can arrive damaged as a recent order did for me, despite being packed fairly well. in fact, as the item was still in plastic, it seems clear that it was sent in a damaged state.
this last point leads me to my next one, their customer service has taken a massive dive when a book worth over $100 arrives with damage, the 'solution' is to offer a $20 part refund or be inconvenienced to send back to new zealand for a 'full refund' (??)! if i were in a physical shop, had an item been sold with damage, i'd expect more than a $20 'discount' & usually physical shops are well aware of this & factor this in accordingly.
it really seems to me that customer satisfaction & attempting to encourage customer loyalty is not a consideration for mightyape.
all in all, i can say & suggest that others avoid this site - especially if they want items in the condition they were advertised in & good customer service.

Ordered from this company on 26 Nov. They took money from my account immediately. Have not had notification of my order or an email even saying it's on its way. Will be reporting as fraud to my bank as they don't even have a phone number

Ordered a gift for $450 and then get an email saying that it's postponed until I give you private information like bank statements and my drivers license I thought giving you MY BANK DETAILS should be verification enough just send my order already!

Shipped damaged pop vinyls but would not replaced as they are still “useable”

Absolutely disgusting

Was offered and charged for evening express (same day) delivery that took 4 days and cost 4 times as much as regular delivery which would have arrived at the same time.
Also, my credit card was charged immediately on ordering - even though I was told by email 2 minutes later that my credit card wouldn't be charged until the product was ready to be shipped.

The worst service ever. I caution anyone buying anything from Mighty Ape. They are misleading in the way they imply things are shipped from Australia. They are in nz so you're not covered by any Australian consumer protection. I bought a faulty phone. Have sent it back. Once it's returned to a PO box in NSW it gets shipped to NZ. The phone has now disappeared somewhere en route and Mighty Ape won't respond to requests to follow it up. So that's an $800 phone gone with no recourse. Multiple attempts to follow it up have gone ignored.

My payment got delayed so had to bank transfere which meant the delivery date got pushed back by 1 week.They use DHL to deliver which charged me $300!! to release my order.Most stressful online shopping experience ever.Never again

I've been a customer of theirs for years. Really happy with their service. I often buy with express shipping and it always arrives either the next day or within the week

I bought a K-9 Intelligent Dinosaur for my Son last year. It is easily his favourite toy. Although the product quality is good, unfortunately the item would not power on anymore. I contacted Mighty Ape and spoke with Samuel. Being discontinued a replacement was not available and being in a different country made returning the item for repairs more difficult. Nevertheless Samuel was great to deal with and a solution I'm very happy with was quickly arrived upon. I would have no problems buying from Mighty Ape again. Quick and affordable shipping. Excellent customer service. Cheers

I placed an order which has since been lost in the mail - I lodged an Australia Post investigation - they have been unable to locate it. I have sent around 6 emails over the past few weeks to Mighty Ape and have receive zero replies. Worst service. I have paid for an item I haven’t even received and they are not replying to ANY of my emails :(

Expect extra fees. Showed $50 on checkout for custom charges. Ultimately charged $200 for this and their customer support stated they could not help with this.

This company is excellent to deal with. I have found that the goods advertised on their easy to use web site are what you receive. They deliver promptly and have excellent packaging so never any damage.
