Met Daisy and Gary in their Guernsey Store recently. Gary has a wealth of product knowledge and Daisy bags of patience. I was able to try a variety of styles of boots and shoes in an unhurried and relaxed manner. Their attitude and customer service really shone through and that's why I bought from them.

We visited the Millet shop in Saint Peters Port on the 15th of June 2026.
Having browsed through many of the products and decided to purchase and were amazed how reasonably priced everything was.
We purchased sandals, two “free spirit”. beach coats and flip flops.
During our purchases we were served by “Daisy”.Daisy was extremely helpful and catered to our every need.

Daisy gave my daughter some invaluable advice on equipment for her Gold DofE including info on boots, waterproof ratings, the best socks to get and waterproof jackets. Thank you, Daisy for your friendly and helpful manner. The DofE discount was very welcome too!

We visited the store in High Street in late afternoon to shop for my son’s DofE kits, and were greeted by Daisy and Chantelle who were just lovely people. Chantelle was especially knowledgeable and professional, giving us useful advice about the gears and how to choose a good fit. She was also very kind and offered my son several pairs of trousers and boots to try on, even though it was near the closing time. All the while both ladies were helpful, friendly and patient. Can’t ask for more.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Was no trouble to go up the stairs to get me more shoes to try on. Was able to answer my questions about the brand and different variations of Merrill shoe.

All the staff were very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter is doing Silver DofE; and it was great to have staff with practical experience to advise us. Adam who served us is currently working towards his Gold; and his passion and relatability was fabulous. Millets offers a great range of budgets and choice; but that choice can be overwhelming. Adams first hand experience and tips; from which were his favourite meals packs, to which coat and boots would be best over a range of budgets, allowed us to make an informed choice.

We went looking for male and female walking boots. We were served by Daisy who was helpful and attentive to our needs.

From the moment I entered the shop, Daniel could not have been more helpful. I needed some walking boots for a 29km walk I am doing in March. I told him I needed boots with comfort and waterproofing . Daniel was very knowledgeable and showed me three boots, advising which were best when I tried them on. He also helped with recommending suitable cushioned socks ( which I bought). I left the shop confident I had bought the right kit. Daniel was absolutely spot on with the durability and comfort of the boots. Really happy with the service I received. Daniel was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was looking for walking shoes, hiking boots and clip on snow crampons all of which I bought and all of which are just what I needed.
