i bought 2 chairs on a discount online…
i bought 2 chairs on a discount online and picked them up from the shop the next day. i saw that they had other chairs on display so i was able to swap a chair and get a refund - very easy. i also like the emailed receipt and helpful staff

I visited Millets store at Hitchin, Herts
On 11 Feb 2026 I visited Millets Hitchin store with the aim of buying new walking boots. My old pair, Hi-Tec, have served me well for 13 years! The assistant, 008 (sorry, did not get a name) was so patient and helpful, gave excellent service and brought me several types and sizes to try on. I purchased a pair of North Ridge boots, a new brand for me which I hope will serve me as well as Hi-Tec.

Excellent service
Excellent service. I wanted a lightweight warm jacket for walking in the Alps. Although most of the warmer outdoor clothing was not on display as it is now officially summer, Kirsi went to the storeroom and found just what I was looking for. I've used Millets in Hitchin many times and have always found them helpful.
