Update.
I was so lucky to get Johan on a phone.
He fixed everything, in 6 minutes.
I will get back, almost 14000 dkk, from the contract, what I closed in 2022 and what I closed in 2025.06.

We deeply regret switching our ventilation system to Modstrøm. It turned out to be one of the worst decisions we've made. The system started having issues within the first year, and despite being under warranty, we were charged for a technician visit.

Customer service initially assured us that the technician visit would be free. However, the technician arrived, wandered around aimlessly, spent half an hour sitting in his van, and then we received a bill for 3,000 kr – without any resolution to the problem.

The temperature monitoring system, both the physical unit and the mobile app, consistently displays incorrect readings and is unreliable. There’s a significant communication gap between their technicians and customer service representatives, which only adds to the frustration.

The equipment appears to be of low quality, and the technicians lack the necessary technical expertise to diagnose or fix issues effectively. We strongly advise others to avoid Modstrøm ventilation systems.

I had to cancel my contract with Modstrøm after a series of unresolved issues and complete lack of customer support.
Despite sending multiple emails asking for clarification on unexplained electricity charges and extra fees that were never disclosed in the contract, I received no response. The lack of transparency and communication was unacceptable.
On top of that, the electric car charger provided by Modstrøm malfunctioned on the very day it was installed. I reported the issue immediately, but again, my emails were ignored. I had to physically drive to their office to speak with someone, only to be told they couldn’t help me either.
Ironically, Modstrøm only contacted me after I switched to another supplier—asking why I was leaving and which company I was switching to. That level of concern should have come much earlier.
I cannot recommend Modstrøm to anyone. Their customer service is unreliable, their billing practices are unclear, and their support for technical issues is nonexistent.

Never buy EV charging station from Modstrøm. Sales person on call sold me features about their extra long charging cable why we should buy from them - high quality, longer length of 7m more than other providers, better in winters as compared to other providers. Even told me there price is higher than OK because of the expensive cable.

They sent me offer with product info of charging station with a 7.5m cable and later changed it to a different product without a cable even though i have it on email with attachment of the product info in .pdf file showing pictures and features including 7.5m cable, what they sent to me as an offer. Now they refuse to give me the cable and asking me to buy cable from outside.

They shipped the charge box without cable that never arrived. After wiring installation was done i chased them for it then they told me i have to go collect it and they never sent me any info about this before.

Not trust worthy at all. Don't know what else they are hiding. Changing my house agreement away from them as well shortly.
