The MSE site recommended Moneymaxim and the search gave clear prices with easy to use filters. I was able to choose a company whose policy also covered UK Courtesy Cars and Car Club Vehicles. The cheapest supplier offering this also happened to be the Which Overall Best Buy for Car Hire Excess Policies. And the price via MSE & Moneymaxim was about 8% cheaper than I had found elsewhere on the internet.

Easy to find what you need at a good price. We usually buy rental car excess insurance at the same time as we book the car hire but this time it was so much more expensive than in the past. Looking online we found Moneymaxim & took out a policy with them at a sensible price. I definitely would recommend this company.

Hire care excess insurance
I used moneymaxim to compare hire car excess insurances for worldwide cover on a single trip or annual basis. This is not the first time I have done this and moneymaxim is my first port of call. Simple question structure, good range of providers and pretty good comparison engine. Could be a little more useful if you could set a couple of quotes alongside each other and look at the differences without having to switch back and forward. Overall though a very easy experience and I am happy with the cover I have taken out which was not the cheapest but the one that best suits my needs. I recommend moneymaxim as a comparison website.

On our results page for each policy, if you hover over anyone of the buttons for that policy (More Information, Quick Buy or Buy Now), you will find on the left hand side of page a Lock facility.If you then click where it says Lock (this will then lock the features for that particular policy), you can then repeat this for each policy, which then provides you a comparable format for these.
Although, the fact you didn't see this, probably provides us further feedback, that this may need to be made clearer !!!
