When MS took over Etrade it froze one IRA Account have. Two weeks and seven calls and still frozen. Etrade was very helpful in the past. MS is not at all. When (if) unfrozenI will move all of my accounts.

They invested my money it never won, just lost value. in 6 months it lost $9,000 I already close my account with them,. I believe they invest in companies that pay them to invest with them, Do not do business with them

I am trying to get stocks allocated to my husband by Amazon, who unfortunately passed away due to Covid. After submitting all required documents almost a year ago I am still waiting for the funds (stocks)
They are not even bothered to respond on timelines. I will not recommend anyone to invest with them.

Morgan Stanley is discriminative and purposefully unreachable.
Morgan Stanley is blocking my access to the shares I received while working for a U.S. company. Their practice is discriminative against Europeans, as I am being asked to fill and send back a W-8BEN form via MAIL / FAX to Ohio – is this the 21st century? They claim this can theoretically be done electronically, but provide no solutions to do so.
Their practice is highly illegal, especially since in the meantime, I cannot access my account to see my savings, and there is no chat/help provided apart from a phone number that is not available.

Disaster 6 years I tried to log in to my account. I called 5 times today. 5 times I was told I will receive a follow up email or call. Nothing happens!
Maybe this is a good practise of the company then they keep your money as you can never access it again! I just want to log in and sell it all to never face their customer service again.

To Whom It May Concern:
For the fourth time, I am faxing this inherited IRA account application – specifically pages 3, 7 , 8th and 9 as requested.
For 6 months I’ve been trying to get the distribution on the above mentioned case, and one day prior to finalizing the process and the account be opened and funded you always find something else to request.
Yesterday, Sept 7th spent 1 hour, 7 minutes and 11 seconds waiting for a supervisor to have the decency to talk to me and explain why a Trust that has been recorded by the court and on Article 1.3 explicitly states “Any Trustee alone may exercise any power or discretion held by the Trustees under this instrument and has the authority to act on behalf of all the Trustees and to exercise any power or discretion held by the Trustees” is simply not enough for you.
I called three times, waited over 15 minutes to actually get a hold of an agent, always got a different agent and the last call lasted over 1 hour and still your supervisors might think they are above their responsibility with your clients. This is a lousy way to waste your money. You have an agent on the line for over an hour with her hands tied and the supervisor was probably either having lunch checking her facebook page…. I’d like a job like that, no, wait, I would not waste my time with a company with such a disregard for their clients and lousy customer service.
The call that I was supposed to receive something yesterday has not arrived as of yet, but my experience with this case will be sent to Corporate Headquarters and will be posted in my social media. Hopefully someone has the decency to look into this and create and fund the account ASAP. I can’t wait to close it.

I'm not going to waste a lot of keystrokes here just to give details as to why they are the worst financial experience I've ever had. They just are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I'm in the process of closing all three of my accounts: brokerage, checking, and saving ostensibly due to the horrendously BAD customer service. Getting put on hold and endless transfers once I finally reach a human who actually spoke English was particularly irritating. I spent 3 hours on the phone with 4 different reps and never did get finished what I needed to do but with the promise of a call back in 2-3 three days. REALLY !!!!!! Gthanks.
Bummer - I had high hopes, and boy was I wrong.
Bummer. Couldn't get anything done. Major disconnect and POOR communication. When you had someone on the phone, they were very helpful, but once there was to be a response, a call-back, your money invested, forget about it.
1. I'd request a call in the am and they would call several days late in the evening, after I've been on the phone all day for my 9-5.
2. I missed out on a green market, due to their inaction, losing thousands of dollars. Green was not guaranteed, so the lack of action and communication is the despicable part.
3. You don't know who you're working with from one day to the next. Very impersonal.
4. Find a local money management company that you could speak to and visit, is my suggestion.
incompetent and inefficient customer support
I am trying for a month now to add my bank account to my stock connect account. It is impossible to do so on the website as they have some issues with the two factor authentication so I talked 4 times to their Customer Support who are extremely incompetent, sent twice forms with my bank details, escalated this to Customer Relations, got a call, sent the form again and received a reply to send it yet again, with a handwritten signature which it has already. It feels like they are stuck in 19th century still. It is inbelievable and I will make sure to never have a business with them again.

They told me a Hedge fund account was middle of the risk factor. Would not go up or DOWN too much but give a nice return. THEY TOTALLY LIED. The fee was 2% and I lost 31%. I had requested to liquidate the fund at one point when it was UP and they gave bad greedy advice to stay with it. Take my advise STAY AWAY
This company is a complete joke
This company is a complete joke. Not even the basic account handling they can do. They have kept my account locked for months, more than 9 hours + on the phone with different managers and support people and they still are unable to handle their internal processes on which fields and forms they need to have.
Every support will bounce you back in a circle, nobody seems to know what is going on, and their systems are not working.
And this is a simple request, I can only imagine how bad it is if anyone has need to do anything with this company.
As a consumer you have no rights, even with investments here. Stay away if you have a choice.

Over the past two months, I attempted to transfer my Trust account to another financial company. Numerous of phone calls have been placed. My personal banker and I have been on the calls together to resolve any of the outstanding issues with the Morgan Stanley staff. The team over at Morgan Stanley/Etrade have not been able to resolve the internal issues. 1 of 4 accounts have been transferred. 3 accounts still remain as an issue. I went through the process to repaper the account with my personal banker and again Morgan Stanley/Etrade denied the transfer. I have escalated the matter through customer service. It's been over a week and the management team has not responded and/or returned my request for a phone call to resolve the issue. My next step is to contact my attorney to take legal action against Morgan Stanley/Etrade. I recommend that you do your research and homework before you open an account with Morgan Stanley/Etrade.

The worst company I have ever dealt with, very poor customer service, every time I called I was told a different time scales. Each time I called I was promised my shares would be refunded but nothing happened and when it did get sorted the shares had gone down so I have lost a lot of money.
Blatant liars..
They say they welcome people to walk in anytime, this is advertised on their website. I travelled over an hour to discuss wealth management, and was willing to invest a substantial sum of money. However, after waiting at the reception for an hour I was told that no one was going to see me. I am taking my money elsewhere. They can't expect to blatantly lie to people online and still keep people's business. Rubbish company.
