I have used Laura as my mortgage broker for years, I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I’ve built up a good relationship with her and I trust her to handle my mortgage/re-mortgage applications brilliantly.

Leighton Trodd and Karen Reilly have been a huge help for two house purchases in the past few years.

Our most recent house purchase they have been invaluable in helping liaise with solicitors and vendors. Secured a good rate on the mortgage and have gone above and beyond to help.

Laura in the Leigh Branch made things simple for us, with being highly efficient, helpful and kept continuous contact of all things happening behind the scenes and keeping us in the loop. Thus making the process a lot less stressful on me and my partner as we go along with the process.

I don't know how these guys get so many 5 stars. Louis Moore caused me the most stress for 2 days. He didn't understand basic finance and didn't understand the Homes England rules for shared ownership applications. Claimed there was no appeals procedure and he had no manager. Raised a complaint with their Head Office - that soon had them jumping around and things got done. Still didn't get an apology for being so wrong. Maybe he just took a personal dislike to me ! Just remember these guys are just mortgage salesmen - thats all.

I have had a mortgage for 2.5 years from these people who were suggested to me by house builders.

They do not know what they are doing and do not act with customers interests at heart.

The initial process was long, invasive and stressful. It took forever to get everything organised.

We agreed a fixed 3 year period and paid an additional fee for the term.

Fast forward 2.5 years and the term is only for 2.5 years. I have pointed this out and complained. I have had Joe and Lisa explain this away as if it's nothing saying this must be because the term started from the offer letter and not from when mortgage started?? The offer letter was only a couple weeks prior, so the explanation doesn't stack up. Furthermore none of this was explained at the time as I would have asked for it to have been aligned with the mortgage start date, not 6 months before we've moved in...obviously a mistake.

No apology, no sorry for the inconvenience just trying to brush it under the carpet as if it's nothing and move on.

Personally I prefer dealing with a company who is transparent and puts client first

Ken at the Swindon branch of MAB has been excellent through the process of purchasing two houses now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He is professional & prompt. Always contactable & quick to respond. Top notch bloke very easy to talk to. We have always felt relaxed during the process which obviously can be quite stressful. Highly recommend using MAB & Ken for all your mortgage advice 👌🏻

Although my broker was lovely, there was a lot of mis-communication from the mortgage broker to the lender, estate agent and solicitor, this led to the mortgage lender saying they couldn’t loan the money any more. This was done 24 hours prior to completion on a flat! If you’re looking to buy a flat, look for a company who look into a leasehold and ask about deed of variation. Feeling disappointed after waiting 5 months for this to go through, is an understatement!

It has been three weeks since I moved into my dream home, and I wanted to share my experience being a first time buyer this wouldn't of been possible without Abby Sayers. She was exceptional throughout my mortgage application process. Over the past seven months, I had consulted various mortgage advisers, but none provided the support I needed; they would often disappear, leaving me feeling hopeless about achieving my dream of home ownership. Abby, however, was truly my hero. From the beginning to the end of the process, she was consistently attentive and reliable. I felt completely secure in her care, and my vision of finally owning my first home was becoming a reality and that it did! I still cannot believe I have my own home! I would like to highlight that my entire journey was completed within a two-month period, especially considering we began during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Additionally, I had received a notice from my landlord regarding my rental situation, which added urgency to the process. Abby was fully aware of this time constraint and acted promptly to ensure that I was able to move before the notice period expired.

 

If anyone is question of where to begin or not too sure who to trust I would strongly recommend Abby as for being a first time buyer and doing it alone it was extremely new and stressful and I can not express how grateful I am to her. If you see this Abby thank you so so much!
