I used this company last year through a referral from an estate agent, everything was going swimmingly until we processed the mortgage offer the person we was dealing with failed to check if the solicitor was registered with the bank we was using for the mortgage, thus resulted in us spend 1.8k on another lawyer but made it sound like he was saving us money in reflection we should of moved to a different mortgage broker and save ourself alot of hassle and money so think twice before using this company we won't be using this firm again

The property agent recommended the Mortgage Advice Bureau to us. Initially, a mortgage advisor (Dylan Arya) contacted us and handled our case. However, after we agreed on the price with the buyer, he disappeared for four weeks without any response to our emails or messages.

Then, his colleague, Nishant Madan, took over the case. By this point, we were already delayed by a month and a half. After I provided him with all the necessary documents, it took him another week to review and apply for the mortgage. Two weeks later, he called to inform me that the application couldn't proceed, with no clear explanation. By then, we were already two months behind!

Ultimately, we decided to go with another mortgage advisory company, and the purchase went through smoothly.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company. Buying a property is stressful, especially for first-time buyers, and this company did not help us at all during the process.

In the midst of all the stress caused by my solicitors, she provided clarity and calm. Her quick responses, clear explainations and constant encouragement gave me the strength to keep going.

Her team also deserves huge recognition. Every interaction I had with them reflected the same professionalism and humanity, always approachable, always on my side.

Buying a first home should be an exciting time, but my experience was full of setbacks and distress. The one shining light through it all was Emma. I am deeply grateful to her and her team, not only for securing my mortagage but for being a source of support and reassurance at every stage.

This company managed my insurance, but the advisor couldn’t stop looking at my bank balance and badgered me until I took out a managed investment fund. After 5-6 years my investment stayed the same size, but MAB took a percentage and got paid a fee every month. Just go straight to an s&p500 investment fund instead. I’ve done this and actually grown my wealth since I left MAB.
