Have bought blue top milk from 2 separate shops now both supplied by Mortons Dairies and with in 2/3 days the milk has gone off. I thought it might have been the shops issue however 2 separate shops i think it’s the supplier issue. The latest one the expiry was 10th July so still over a week away and the milk has already started to curdle!
Absolutely NO regard for customers.
I recently contacted MORTONS Dairies in MAGHULL MERSEYSIDE to ask for a bulk order collected by me discount for their orange juice. They sell singularly at 82p and that's loaded, transported to your door by their milkman! I offered to buy 100 at a time regularly and collect it myself from their dairy thus saving them loading, labour and transport costs which I am sure you will agree are biggest costs.
Unbelievably I was told their is no discount at all and was given a lame excuse about packing and raw materials which should still result in a quantity discount as their excuse for costs is no different however they are saving labour and transport costs!!!
Moral of the story is that they are trying to rip me off and get maximum price for their product. EVERY COMPANY AFORDS BULK DISCOUNTS ESPECIALLY WHEN SAVING TRANSPORTATION.
Needless to say I will not be buying anything from MORTONS DAIRIES in MAGHULL MERSEYSIDE EVER!!!!!!
