Having used an aerosol can of paint and…
Having used an aerosol can of paint and being more than disappointed with the poor colour and the lack of sheen I called the number on the tin to complain, it transpires that the paint and the supply are different, confusing or what.
Eventually I managed to get through to those responsible and have to say the conversation went down hill pretty fast, substantiating some of the comments on the website. When I eventually got it over that I was a professional in this field the angst I shared with the person I was speaking to disappeared, a mutual respect was achieved. We established the problem cause and the correct paint was sent. Although the colour and sheen were vastly improved and as a result of the conversation with the specialist at MotorNuts I had ordered a can of lacquer, this I used to finish off the work, the result was amazing. My Jaguar is Italian Racing Red with black pack, this retro lamp I restored was the same spec, albeit they were not adjacent panels I have to say the colour match was excellent.
As someone who has worked in the engineering profession for many decades I have to say that sometimes customers should stop and think what they are saying to the person they are asking for assistance, in this instance the person I was talking to didn’t actually mix the paint! What they did do was solve the problem, many thanks
Bunch of amateurs!
Bunch of amateurs!
Ordered a 50ml touch up which, thinned down and sprayed on, dried matt. Their "technical support" guy was, I suspect, the cynical, "customer always wrong" individual mentioned by other reviewers. He was talking complete nonsense, believing that I was as dim witted and as gullible as he is.
1 They don't know the formulation of their paints acrylic? nitrocellulose? ...no answer.
2 There is no mention of thinners on the website: "oh yes there is": but only if you type "Thinners" in the search box.
3 According to him, 10% thinners in a 50 ml sample is a very different proposition to 10% thinners in a 500ml pot. Er, right!
But, the paint colour did match. At least I was luckier than some others.

Unwilling to help other than demand a paint code. Sarcastic customer service reply When I offered a Halfords product number trying to help them cross refer, and tardy responses. They did refund to be fair but weeks later I have to look for another paint supplier so a complete waste of time.
Great to deal with

BEWARE BEWARE of this company
BEWARE BEWARE terrible paint match on a virtually brand new vehicle poor customer service customer always wrong .Even though registration number provided wormed out of refunding at every opportunity. Have since obtained the correct paint at half the price from a reputable local company.
My experience with this company is…
My experience with this company is really satisfactory , I did order a spray can on 10/06 but did not get a confirmation email, so I emailed them on 15/06 to ask for a delivery date but received my item the next day, well satisfied.
Ordered paint. Paint arrived. No problems
I ordered some paint for my car just as the COVID 19 debacle started. I normally buy locally but this was one of the few options. Lucky find! Best colour match I have ever seen and the paint is first class. Spoke to the owner because no one else was in and even he managed to get it right!!
Don't know why the other reviews are bad-my experience was very good
Paint does not match!
Paint does not match!
Tried and tried to get something done.
Deaf ears at their end.
BUYER BEWARE!
Motornuts Paint
Don't bother, took two weeks to deliver from an address in the UK and the paint doesn't match I have a green car they sent grey paint. Still not answered my follow up e-mail 4 days later. I suspect they will go bust and the owner will just set up another crap company to screw money out of normal everyday folk. Do not use them
Shocking Customer Service
I wish I had read the TrustPilot Reviews before ordering from MotorNuts.
They have a ‘help’ desk, but don’t help, they don’t answer emails , next day delivery took 15 days!!
At the moment they seem to be excusing themselves behind the CoronaVirus.
Save yourself the stress, don’t use this company.
This is a terrible company as it takes…
This is a terrible company as it takes days for them to respond to emails
They also lie and advise when you will get delivery, but surprise the goods never arrived
Then you are told that there are no scans for the order, so it will be sent again, and should arrive the following week - guess what still no goods.
I guess I will probably have to sue to get my money back.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Terrible customer service and warehouse logisitics
Ordered 2 paint products and was told 10 days max for delivery due to the ongoing pandemic. After 10 days I ordered elsewhere and they arrived in 3 days time. The prodcuts from here took over 20 days to arrive and they refuse to accept the returns, even though the products haven't been opened.
Extremely poor customer service.
No goods after a month
Have tried, to no avail, to get some response from this firm. I ordered an item on 30/04/2020 and there has been no reaction in spite of a couple of emails querying my non-delivery. They are not answering their phone so be wary before ordering.
Made an order on the 16/4/20
Made an order on the 16/4/20. It arrived today 20/5/20, I made enquires repeatedly about the location of my order and why it was taking so long, I received one reply blaming the Royal Mail. My order invoice states that it was not shipped until the 14/5/20 so I had been LIED to, it was their fault not Royal Mail. To rub salt into the wounds the order sent to me is wrong! The saga continues.
Terrible customer service and Micky Mouse organisation, would not recommend to anyone.
I ordered a can if spray paint nearly a…
update, i have just received the paint and it seems that the delivery company DHL have had this delivery all this time! so apologies to motor nuts, who were not to blame.
Bought a touch up colour matched paint…
Bought a touch up colour matched paint kit to cover a scratch but although it looked like a colour match in the bottle once applied it was quite noticeably not. The whole thing now looks worse than before so a total waste of money and may end up costing more to repair properly. I would not trust this claim of colour matched paint and just take it to the garage.
