My youngest is now 20. I always need MUTU
My youngest is now 20. I used MUTU then to get pelvic floor strengthened because sneezing caused me to leak urine. Now I’m using it again after a weight loss of 10 pounds. My posture, core strength, and pelvic floor all need MUTU before I get to into gentle Pilates and weight training.

This program really works
This program really works, if you stick with it. I've been through it once already and my DR decreased by 50% (4 finger width to 2 fingers). Halfway through my second time through it, and my DR is about half again (about 1 finger width). The gap is so small now than when I first started a few years back. I plan to continue until it's completely closed. And then I will continue with basic maintenance to keep it that way. MUTU works!

Don’t get the annual subscription.
Don’t get the annual subscription.
If you pay monthly and decide it’s not for you after a couple of months, you get to stop without paying further. If you subscribe to the annual and stop after a few months, they will not treat you the same and offer no refund at all, then ignore your emails. How is that fair?
Follow workouts from diastasis recti exercisers on Instagram instead. It’s free, a lot more effective and takes up much less of your time! Free time is not a luxury for me with 3 kids!!!

Stick with it and it works!
I have been working with this program on-and-off for nearly two years. When I work at it, and read through the instructions, and watch the videos, and implement the suggestions, my situation improves (diastis recti, hernia, etc.) When I stop (which I have few times) I get weaker, and my situation gets worse. I know that this program works! Now if I can just stay with it...haha!

MUTU has been a brilliant way to get back to fitness. I started at 4 weeks postpartum and now at 13 weeks I feel so much stronger and motivated.
Highly recommend! I will be doing these exercises for many years to come!

Really good steady way to get back into fitness, without having to do anything too strenuous. The workouts are not to long either so you can fit it in around your day.

Sadly I am not able to recommend this…
Sadly I am not able to recommend this program because it hasn’t been accessible to me. Shortly after purchasing the program I discovered I was pregnant with complications and because I am disabled in various ways, I was informed by my doctor I needed to stop doing this until after having my child. I am now able to do the program again but my years subscription is up despite the fact that I’ve only done one intensive and one level of exercises. I emailed Mutu to tell them this but they didn’t care.
And this is where companies like this one need to do better. Harmful greed, capitalism and growth at all costs have caused a lot of damage to our world and it’s time for more responsible, ethical and fairer companies to show the world how business can be done. And companies like this with a woman at the front should be leading the way with more ethical business rather than replication the old systems where getting as much money as possible out of your customers is more important than providing a good service.
As a very busy, disabled mum, I would not have taken the time out to tell them I hadn’t been able to make use of this program and so didn’t feel like I’ve received what I paid for if this wasn’t actually true. And given this is supposed to be for mums, you would expect this to be more empathic and caring towards the needs of mums and if you can’t take part in this program because of unexpected pregnancy and disability, what does it have to lose by offering you another opportunity to take part in the program that you already paid for but didn’t get to use?
Edit: The response from Mutu makes no sense and it would appear they haven’t read my review properly. I did reach out to say I couldn’t do the program, to which they offered no solutions whatsoever and no opportunity to extend it even just for a few months when I was given the all clear to participate. I emailed them on 22nd November 2023 to tell them about my issue and my subscription wasn’t due to expire until February. Before then I was busy having a baby whilst being very sick and disabled. There is a similar review from one or two other women with similar issues on here so it is obviously a theme. If you were a company that cared about its customers, why not offer me the opportunity to participate now I’m able to? Given this costs mutu absolutely nothing extra. Why not do something to help as in actual customer service rather than trying to discredit this review and spending the time checking what other reviews I have given which is a bit of low and unprofessional tactic to use in a situation like this? I only give reviews on trust pilot when I’ve had a negative experience to warn others so I don’t see how this is relevant and the only way it’s similar to others is because it’s a service I’m reviewing negatively. And with regard to the forums for asking for help, I did actually post on one asking what the 3 and 9 o clock position meant. Rather than receiving a response answering this, I was directed to general videos where I wasn’t able to find the information I was looking for so I still don’t know what this means.
The response from mutu just confirms everything I’ve said in my review, because rather than trying to be helpful to remedy the fact that I paid for a service that I was unable to use due to disability, they’ve tried to twist it and make out this is my fault because of me not contacting them to request further assistance and I should have done something differently rather than them taking responsibility for something which according to the reviews, is not a one off experience. I would put the screenshot here of my email to Mutu with the issue back in November and their response which was to offer no help if I were able to.
It’s a bit tedious in a ableist world when you’re disabled and it worsens severely so something you’ve paid for no longer is accessible but companies and events run by non disabled people show no empathy or support for this, instead blaming you like the response from mutu, meaning you keep losing money for no gain. I don’t see a company that is fair, ethical and caring in this response, do you?

Feeling alive after baby #5
MUTU was recommended by my pelvic floor physical therapist. The system is easy to follow. The number of videos and resources available seemed overwhelming to me at first, but you don't need to access all of it right away. Plenty of FAQs, modifications, tips and support.
After two very rough labors with babies four and five my physical therapist said I was close to having my organs collapse... which is pretty scary!! I was running, playing around with body weight exercises, and doing kettle bells before this. All of a sudden I was afraid to move! Doing these exercises has helped me regain the confidence and the strength I need to not feel like I am one false move away from my insides becoming my outsides! I would recommend this program to anyone struggling with pelvic pain.

Life changing
I had debilitating back pain and had been going to PT, seeing doctors, with minimal relief and no healing. I started Mutu System and after several weeks, I had no pain in my back. I felt more confident in my back. I can not express how life changing that was for me. No more fear of my back going out, being able to keep up with my young daughter. Cut to 3 1/2 years later and I am still doing the exercises and knock on wood, my back is still good. I have been able to add more activities because my back is so much better.

MUTU has held my hand during those…
MUTU has held my hand during those really hard PP times where I felt so lonely and uncomfortable in my own body. I heard about it after my first baby at my local recreation center. Then I purchased the plan and worked whenever I got a chance. It helped. But second baby came and during a pandemic. Those where the hardest days of pregnancy and PP, and I kept my sanity by login in everyday and doing the workouts in my basement while I watched the craziness unraveling in the world. I will always 100% recommend MUTU to any moms out there. And MUTU and the smell of lysol, will always remind me of the crazy 2020/2021 years we lived. Oh! and MUTU also was a main influence for me to completly switch to barefoot shoes, will always be thankful for this program, thank you Wendy and team!

Simple and helpful program
I love the simplicity of MUTU. I’ve had it for the past five months, and I’m currently leaving since I need less support. However, I will likely come back during future pregnancies and postpartum periods for the extra guidance of the videos. I highly recommend this program.
