Worst possible product with worst pricing, didn't even work. had to buy another app to detect
crashes and freezes like shit.
wasted my hard earned money for no use

I had an older version of Carly on my older iPhone. When I got a new phone the Carly App was not compatible, I could not connect to the OBD adapter. I was about to cancel my annual subscription when I was informed that a new Carly adapter would be sent to me at no charge.

I have been a Carly subscriber for my 2019 BMW since it was new and I stayed because of the product and the service.

I just want to use the adapter I paid for to get the codes. I have no desire to use all the other features. Well I would have if it actually allowed me to change setting on the car. It that was a sales lie.

It's not suitable for Volvo cars. When i plugin the Carly end make a diagnostic the car goes in block.

I thought i could delve deeper into any car as was said by a youtuber you sponsored but you cant so its not realy of any use as i already have a basic diagnostic tool

It doesn't do whatnot says and no answer back from them when I requested a cancellation via email as there's no other option!! Rubish! Scam!

After Carly did the 3 day battery test, it asked me to move to the next step, but ended up beginning all over. Never ending loop.

Other than that, Carly is a good tool to have as DIY.

App is quite slow to read the codes takes my car a good 5 minutes to read and clear fault codes and very limited on any non German vehicles and other app features are blocked behind a pay wall even though I’ve paid for all brands of vehicle you’d assume the “smart mechanic” would be included

It’s just incredibly expensive for what you get, as a home user to use it maybe once or twice a year is scandalous. There are better alternatives with a one off purchase model less than the cost of a year. The whole built in mechanic, everyone can use Google so don’t be fooled into thinking that’s worthwhile.

Did not want to read fault codes on one of my cars, support could not help me make it work, but offered money back. It works on my other cars so i dont want a refund.
It takes very long for the app to read the fault codes, and my phone (brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max) gets very hot when reading or deleting fault codes. Does not make sense that an app like this should demand that much processing power. Other than that it works pretty much as intended, but just takes so long to read and delete codes.

The Carly setup didn’t work at all and awaiting refund for more than a month. All they do is keep asking same questions again and again via their tickets.

Screenshots to logs all provided and they don’t bother as long as you bought it. Please also note they have an auto renewal and no customer service whatsoever. Please refrain from buying Carly. BimmerCode is much more reliable and offer better service.

Not good! Paid for one year and the unit was gift! Couldn’t scan any of my cars as been told need to pay to show the errors! Absolutely waste of time and money

It’s ok for basic fault codes. Gets stuck wen u try investigating more into faults and doesn’t really let u do much customisation for Audi. Waste of money and a million percent won’t be renewing

Im use on BMW E70, Fault code scanning take too long, no transmission special function ( such as clear adaptation, oil change reset, etc), exhaust flap function not available, and much more option cant be use.
