Honestly Clarion are one of the least helpful companies I’ve dealt with.
I lost my job around 2 years ago & when things became difficult, I got in touch, because apparently Clarion are there to help. Instead, it took them absolutely forever to respond to anything and even longer to offer any sort of support, with some agents actually being quite rude.
Fast forward to now; I am earning, a payment plan is in place, and being paid fine as far as I’m aware. Problem under wraps. Oh no, Clarion send me a delightful threatening letter about legal action due to my arrears.
I get in touch, obviously confused, and just get a very unhelpful response telling me I’d missed a payment (when?), my direct debit had been suspended (again, when?) and basically they won’t stop any legal action unless I pay the (somewhat hefty) arrears (how?). Oh, and that they’d previously sent a letter about this (where and when?). Obviously we know the postal service is super reliable so there’s no way anything could have gone missing or not been delivered, right?!
Funnily enough, I’ve received no notice from them about this until the threatening letter. I wouldn’t mind if I’d simply ignored them and made no effort to pay, but apparently Clarion give not a damn about situations their tenants might be in or how to support them. Long story short, if life gives you a bit of a kick and you find yourself struggling financially for a bit, don’t expect Clarion to care or help. It’s absolutely all your fault.

Clarion’s phone service is genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. They respond painfully slowly, and even when you finally get through, they have this unbelievable habit of cutting the call mid‑conversation. It’s not a one‑off, it happens constantly. This level of neglect is beyond frustrating, it’s exhausting.
To make things worse, they sometimes transfer you to the wrong department, forcing you to start the entire process all over again. There is only so much patience a person can have, and Clarion has pushed that limit completely. Absolutely unacceptable.

Regarding the complaint about having no TV signal for over ten days and being told that it was first reported on the 22/06 and could take up to 28 days to get it repaired with no fixed time for the repair to be carried out is not good .If it takes 28 days to repair that is 1 month without any service that has bee paid for. The tv licence is not free( over 10 days at the time of writing) nor is the service charge which they have so pleasure in raising every year. It is a communal aerial so it is for everyone. When we had our own aerials we were responsible for the upkeep of them I would not have been ripped off for the TV licence and the service charge If it is not repaired by the end of this week I shall put my own up and they can swing. We never see a housing officer or the caretaker. Who are they ? Do they exist? Not happy .Clarion Clowns.

Hollie was very understanding. And was clear about what would be happening every step through the process. She took my fears on board, as well as my mobility issues. She was very kind. And helpful. And has the patience of a saint in 37⁰c weather. I hope that the next team that I have been passed on to will be as kind understanding and helpful, with hopefully at least half of Hollie's patience.
