I recently completed the AI in Healthcare course and wanted to share my feedback.

The course was exceptionally well-organized, featuring clear lectures from impressive faculty. The ten-week commitment, including lectures, exercises, discussions, and mentored live sessions provided a comprehensive understanding of how to responsibly implement AI in a high-risk healthcare setting.

As a physician, I particularly appreciated the course's emphasis on rigorous science when testing and deploying AI to improve patient care. Despite a demanding schedule, meeting the weekly deadlines was well worth the effort. Additionally, the support from the Greater Learning staff was timely, and I appreciated the quick resolution of technical issues on the Olympus platform.

This course has equipped me to understand AI and champion its responsible use to help clinicians and institutions deliver better care.

I’m currently enrolled in the PG Program in Generative AI with The University of Texas, and it has genuinely exceeded my expectations.

Most online programs I previously tried provide information and a completion certificate. This one provides understanding, real mastery, industry relevance, and a credit-bearing postgraduate-level academic experience.

The structure is remarkably efficient — what would typically take hours in a university lecture hall is delivered in a focused, clear format that respects your time without sacrificing depth. Unlike many certificate-driven platforms, the emphasis here is on understanding underlying mechanisms rather than just outcomes. That depth translates into real capability — the kind that can be directly applied in industry, discussed with professionals, and leveraged within a strong peer and alumni network.

That distinction is transformative.

One aspect that particularly surprised me was the technical progression. I started the program with no real coding experience in Python. Today, I am able to build functional AI applications with full code — not just low-code tools. While the program offers accessible pathways for managerial profiles who prefer limited coding exposure, choosing the full-code track pushed me further than I ever expected. Having once struggled with programming earlier in my academic journey, I never imagined reaching this level of confidence in Python and AI development.

I decided to enroll in this program because I’m at a stage in my career where standing still is not an option. I work in data, strategy, and decision-making, and I felt I needed to deepen my technical understanding of NLP and Generative AI. I didn’t want to just use tools or call APIs — I wanted to understand what is happening behind the models, their structure, their logic, and their limitations. For me, this wasn’t about adding another credential. It was about strengthening my foundations and staying sharp in a field that is evolving incredibly fast.

The program was demanding — and I mean that in a good way. It forced me to think more rigorously and to be more disciplined in how I approach modeling problems. The projects were especially valuable because they pushed me to move from theory to real implementation. Balancing the program with professional responsibilities was not always easy, but that challenge made the learning more meaningful. I can genuinely say this course helped me progress professionally. I now approach NLP tasks, modeling decisions, and even strategic conversations with much more clarity and confidence.

Regarding support, my program manager was great. There were moments when work became intense, and the understanding and responsiveness I received made a real difference. At the same time, the academic standards were maintained, which I respect. That balance between rigor and flexibility is not easy, and I appreciated it.

Overall, I’m grateful I did this program. It challenged me, stretched my technical capacity, and clearly contributed to my professional growth.

Not only has this course opened my eyes and mind to the world of AI and Machine Learning, it has covered concepts behind these elements that have further peaked my interest in Data Science. The instructors are extremely well versed in using analogies and examples for explaining these concepts. Self/learning at our own pace, as well as keeping in contact via instant messager and live training sessions make this education activity productive, inciteful and valuable.

Great Learning helped me understand the world of data, and I was able to completely analyze my data for my dissertation in public health (MPH) with accuracy. This, in addition to other skills learned, helped me to understand the world around me, from booking an Uber to navigating the medical world with a better understanding.

The staff were excellent and easily accessible to answer questions in a timely manner. The platform was user friendly and provided a variety of learning modes including video lectures, case studies, slide decks, essays, and quizzes.

I am currently enrolled in the Data Science with Generative AI: Applications to Business program through Great Learning and UT Austin McCombs. Now several months into the curriculum, which spans about 9 months, including holiday breaks, I have found it to be a challenging but highly rewarding experience.

As someone who already holds an MS, I initially viewed this as a refresher, but it has proven to be much more. The modules on Machine Learning and Generative AI for Text Analysis are modern and deep. The projects are genuinely difficult and require a high level of commitment. Whenever I have encountered an issue, the support team has been excellent. Tickets are handled in a very timely and professional manner.

Coming from a traditional graduate background, I do occasionally miss the direct, daily interaction with professors. However, the Saturday sessions led by seasoned, practicing Data Scientists are a great bridge to industry application. Our Program Manager also deserves credit for keeping the cohort on track with consistent, helpful announcements and reminders.

Although there are moments when a few classmates' attitudes can affect the overall group morale, I believe the program could benefit from slightly more guidance from management to help maintain a high‑energy, positive environment. Ultimately, this is a program where you truly get out what you put in.

If you are disciplined and looking for a well-structured way to modernize your Data Science toolkit with GenAI, this is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared to put in the work!

This programme is pretty well structured with a curriculum that covers the foundations of python along with foundations of Machine Learning , model build , tuning and deployment using AIML techniques. This is a good course for beginners who want to transition into data science and have some strong basics.

The course has both online videos and mentored learning session where the mentor not only covers the case studies but also provides a perspective of how the corresponding topic can be used in real time world.

Projects and case studies are really interesting and there is enough help and discussion forums to be able to complete them with confidence.

Overall, this would be a good starting point to transition with a deep understanding on AIML topics.

I’ve successfully completed a Certificate Program in Applied Generative AI.
It was a highly engaging and well-structured learning journey. I particularly appreciated the weekly live sessions, hands-on online assignments, and the two capstone projects that helped translate concepts into practical application.

I recently completed the Post Graduate Program – Artificial Intelligence for Leaders offered by the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and the learning experience has been extremely valuable.
The course content was very strong, especially the Machine Learning section, which provided in‑depth coverage of core ML concepts and fundamentals. It is an excellent program for anyone who wants to clearly understand how AI works and build a solid foundation in machine learning.
While the Generative AI section could benefit from updates—particularly in areas related to LLMs and Agentic AI—the program did provide an additional video session that explained the architecture of large language models in a very clear and practical way. For more advanced Agentic-AI topics, they offer separate, dedicated courses.
One of the highlights of the program was the mentoring support. The live sessions with industry leaders were highly insightful, and I was able to get answers to all my questions. The combination of detailed learning videos, comprehensive documentation, interactive live sessions, and hands‑on project work ensures that learners become industry-ready and gain a significant advantage in applying AI concepts professionally.
Overall, this program has been an excellent investment in my AI learning journey, and I would highly recommend it to leaders aiming to strengthen their understanding of AI and ML.

The PG AI & ML program is very well structured and thoughtfully designed from a scheduling perspective; everything is clearly well planned. The instructors explain the concepts clearly, which makes learning easier. If you follow the courses and recommendations carefully, you should be able to succeed without difficulty. The only consideration is that the time required to fully understand the material and complete the projects is slightly higher than initially expected.
