The prices seem really good for what you get. I made a rnquirynover the website and got a call next day which I thought was good. The lady explained everything to me and had a few questions which she happily answered. Will be booking next year when weather is abit better.

I like others have been receiving great offers , if was only last week when I was actually going to book that realised my great deal cost was going up and up with all the extras. After checking reviews then realised that the company has issues refunding the deposits etc , now obviously I don’t mind paying these as they have to cover damage etc but should be more or less immediate refund. Shame as was looking forward to doing something different guess I will try somewhere else.

The website was simple to use to contact the owner and then the transaction Has all seemed to go smooth so far. Ours is an advance booking for Summer 2020 so I can’t comment on the van itself but the website as a contact point to a private renter has done all we needed it to do.

Had a couple of quotes from the company but yet to take up the great offers. Would love to hire a motorhome to tour scotland & im sure next year i will do it.
Had a telephone conversation last week & everything seems to be ok, but the £1000 refundable insurence seems to be a bit high & now reading some of these messages where ppl arnt getting the refund seems abit naughty

Not sure what owning a Motor was like we decided to hire one to try for a weekend , like many others received really good offers and booked with National Motors ( Barnsley ) depot .
The online registration was painful and after being bombarded with add on 's for everything from kitchen utensils to toilet roll i was relieved it was complete.
On collection the staff were polite and efficient , the actual motor home was virtually brand new all looked good so no complaints.

My issue with this company is the devious practices which it operates when trying to Claim your DEPOSIT REFUND , it has taken 6 months to get the £250 deposit refund back after numerous emails and finally the threat of Legal Action.

So if you are still trying to get your deposit refund don't let the B*****ds grind you down.
IF all else fails apply for a CCJ ( County Court Judgement )

So my advice is give this lot of SCAM Merchants a wide berth and save yourself a load of hassle!

Well communicated offers. Although seem to be bombarded with tects after an initial quote. But wont be using this company after other reviews of not getting your deposit back

Great value motor home hire out of season. Had a callback after getting a quote. Very pleasant, non pushy. Hire availability all over the country.

Was looking for a quote and had to leave my mobile number just to see how much it would cost to rent. Most other sites just show you on the screen. Since then bombarded with texts about “great deals”. I’ve looked into it and they are too good to be true with lots of add ons and high insurance. And since read that some people have struggled to get their £1000 back. Will not be using them and hope the texts stop now

I was really looking forward to a few days with my kids in a motor home but because of the bad reviews this company has received. It has put me off. I was just about to book with them purely from text messages I'd received and it seemed 'to good to be true. . So my daughter checked out the reviews and told me that it was going to cost me more than what i thought. £99 for 3 days is what i thought. But then i found out you have to give them £250 deposit and £1000 for insurance. And a lot of the reviews was saying they struggled to get back. So make up your own mind.

Up to press all great , yes there is a fair few extras that really could be included but after buying the full package just for ease it still comes out cheap

Owed nearly £1000 still not got the money back, they seem to lie that its an IT issue but as you can see by the reviews that's not true.

Worst company ever filthy motorhome that are nothing like described. Bits broken and don't seem serviced at all. Overpriced as it's never what they promise with all the add ons you end up paying hundreds. Deposits not paid back and you have to fight for it.. Its months before you get it back if you fo that is. People on here having to go to solicitors. These people are on the edge of scam artist as you do get a motorhome just not what advertised. Wait till you try and get in touch with them its a joke. Do not waste your money go somewhere else reputable that is clean and will give deposit back when deserved. Disgusting company avoid like the plague.

Offers seem to be “Too good to be true” but on this occasion it was true. Great company to deal with.

Used them twice now, first time was pretty painless, lovely new motorhome, but the price you’re quoted won’t be what you pay. EVERYTHING is more money. Insurance’s, car parking, toilet chemicals, tv licence etc etc. The drop off and pick up times mean you lose 2 days of your holiday.
The second motorhome we hired was a bit of a mess, damaged tables, stained mattress and not nice. Add that to the fact we decided to put the additional excess on my card rather than pay nearly £300 more, that then took nearly 3 months to get refunded. £1200 is a lot of money to be without. They do end up being slightly cheaper overall which, if you’re prepared to lose your deposit for months at a time, isn’t a bad thing. Motorhome condition is hit or miss.

Great company,easy transaction.Comfortable homes,one of the best companies on the market.Highly recommend.

Excellent service, the add ons are a bit of a gimmick but overall I could not fault the van or the service provided.
2nd time hiring from them.

Their offers appear too good but they are available.

Great prices and offers, we are booking for next year

I booked a Motorhome for three days on Sept 12th to be collected on Sept 17th from their depot in Wigan. Their reference number is 77511. The initial rental cost was £90 and did not at that stage, incorporate the £1265 deposit which I then paid on pick up along with some extras. I am solely challenging the £1265 deposit which should have been made available to me after 28 days. Some 70 days later this has still not been returned to me and the company are refusing to communicate with me having locked me out of their live chat facility, the only way they will communicate, as they do respond to emails, and will only answer the phone if you follow the new booking route.
The vehicle was returned undamaged and in a cleaner state than when it went out. It was signed off by the operative who was at all times pleasant and honest. Indeed when I suggested that the only issue was, that such a large vehicle really should have reversing sensors, he stated, “We take them off so customers damage the vehicle and lose their deposits”
I have had numerous live chats with the post hire team but only realised a week ago, that there is a facility to record the text of these messages. booking slot being made!
*They charge £15 administration fee for returning the deposit even when they don’t do it, as in this case.
*They hide behind numerous departments/personnel so as to delay payment and responsibility for sorting out the issue.
*They threaten to cease processing the payment if you contact the bank
I have another one of these booked for this Friday apparently, quite what there is to talk about, I have no idea. (Please see update at the bottom of the page.)


Please see the links below from Trip Advisor, The Guardian and Trust Pilot which confirm that this is a massive and systematic scam, dating back 18 months which shows no sign of abating. The responses from the company are telling, particularly on Trust Pilot, where it appears they are also submitting their own fake reviews from people with no, or one previous review.
I have contacted Cambridge Trading Standards and will contact Action Fraud. With the Bank’s help this company hopefully will be shut down, however it is worth noting it trades with 20 other names.


Update.
An employee, called Stephan (his name features in some of the reviews on Trip Advisor),apparently from the accounts department contacted me last Friday 22nd Sept at 11.10am. Said there was a problem with their Credit Merchant Controller? and he was going to authorize an immediate payment. He ended the conversation stating that this had been done and the payment would show up in my account within 24 hours. Unsurprisingly 80 hours on and this hasn’t happened.

Avoid at all costs.

I’d give it zero stars if I could.
