A fantastic cosmetic product making course run by Tom at Naturally Thinking. Tom is very knowledgeable and shares so much with all the participants on the course. You learn the theory and science of making cosmetic products during the first morning and have detailed notes to take home. You then go on to make a wide variety of products for the next 2.5 days with hands on support every step of the way. The course is held in a light and airy space and excellent refreshments and lunches are provided over the three days. It is also really interesting to meet other participants on the course who are all willing to share their own stories and knowledge. If you have an interest in the science behind cosmetics products and a wish to make your own then look no further than Naturally Thinking. Courses get booked up quickly so don’t delay in committing if you are interested.

Customer service with this company has been exemplary, from my first email asking some product information to the receipt of my order two days later! I ordered an essential oils kit and all I can is say that it's absolutely wonderful! The bottles were packed in a zipped carrier pouch and smell glorious! As soon as I need more essential or carrier oils I'll be ordering from them... I also can't wait to go and visit their farm soon.

I like that they are local company, i prefer supporting local business, and their products are amazing, at a great pricing too. I've tried many of their essential oils, and all of them are at the best quality, and therapeutical grade! my most liked for skincare and perfume are Bourbon Geranium, Benzoin, Bergamot, Clary sage, Lavender, Spike Lavender, Lemongrass, Bitter Orange, Peppermint.

Everything. Getting in to the mixing and creating actual creams gels and butters that I only had a vague clue about.
Adding emulsifiers and preservatives was a bonus as I always didn’t know how to incorporate them into my home made products. Didnt want to leavead I wanted to mix more. Great place, great service. Amazing lunch served for the duration of the course🥰 lovely job

Naturally thinking - Peppermint & Lavender Foot cream, I can honestly say hand on heart this is the very best and second to non cooling foot cream I've ever used, I suffer restless feet especially at night, This product is brilliant and I'm again able to get a good night's sleep.

After 3 years of waiting for course dates and my diary to align, I was finally able to attend the three day Cosmetic Product Making Course in June 2025 - it was worth the wait!

The course was well structured with a good balance of theory and practical activities. Most of the time was spent hands on, making a wide range of different products. It was all really well explained and at a good pace. Questions were encouraged and answered thoroughly. Plus, we were all kept well fed and watered throughout, and there was time to get to know other participants (a fabulous bunch!).

I still can't get over the amount of product we made and left the course with! Great value for money and a fabulous learning experience. When can I come back for more?!

What a fantastic, long-awaited experience as I’ve been using Naturally Thinking products for many, many years and trying to formulate my own products.

I’d wanted to do this course for years and eventually made it! Tom and the team were extremely welcoming from the onset and my fellow cosmetic makers were exceptional; so inspiring.

Tom was extremely knowledgeable, very thorough regarding his subject, generous in terms of sharing his knowledge and experience and entertaining (so many great stories). He encouraged us regarding business development, as well as product development.

It was the most refreshing course I have ever attended. I didn’t expect it to be and to make so many different products! We all had our own workstations/equipment and made ample amounts of product. Thanks also for provision of light breakfast and lunch.

A chance to reconnect with nature and self, whilst being surrounded by interesting, thoughtful and like-minded people (we still share ideas/inspiration).

I left inspired, confident and ready for my next phase of product making.

A really informative and hands on learning experience. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the 3 days. We got to make loads of different products and Tom was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout it all. Really great experience. Would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about naturally based cosmetics.

This course is perfect if your serious about mastering the art of natural skin and hair care and gives you a path to start selling your creations. You come away better placed to turn your passion into a viable business. Naturally thinking thank you

I have been a customer since 2015 and after trying several other suppliers of carrier oils, essential oils ,emulsifiers etc I have come to the conclusion that they are the best in the UK. Prices are good, delivery charge & speed is excellent.
Quality of ingredients are top notch & best of all all ingredients and oils have expiry dates or BBE dates on the label unlike other suppliers that I previously used who sell old stock without any dates on the label.
The only thing I wish Naturally Thinking is more natural cosmetic Active ingredients for cosmetic formulators. They have a few botanicals but need more Actives. Perhaps they could stock them in the future. Very pleased with their oils, hydrolats, preservatives & botanicals so far & excellent prices! As long as they don’t increase prices I will continue to shop here! The best!
