Doesnt care about their customers
My boyfriend ordered me a very expensive motherboard ans GPU combo, I know for a fact I updated my address. I have screenshots that back all of this up. My address did not update in their system, this time or the next multiple times myself or or a representative tried to update it. Still stuck on the old one. My package went to the old address to never be seen again. They contacted UPS, decided it was delivered to the correct address and wasn't their problem. I spent more on that than most people spend on entire computers and I saved for years to do it. Im out almost 5 grand because doesnt give a crap about someone who was willing to spend that kind of money with them. No phone call to ask my side, and they still just brush off the address problem like its no big deal so I can't even order from them in future. Though it will be another 4 years before I can afford anything after they just screwed me out of my past 4 years savings. Really wouldn't order from them, they dont care about you

Return issues! If you get an item that doesn't work they blame the customer for damaging it.Received a motherboard that didn't function.Sent it for return and it failed inspection.They blamed us for damage.
Shipping lag
I was told by a few people that newegg was a reputable company. So I ordered my new desktop computer. The shipping time started out being 4 to 7 days. It never left the facility until the seventh day and now I still have to wait a week for it to arrive. Don't suck people in with short shipping times and not deliver. Be honest. I'm more apt to go with a company that is honest, even if I have to wait longer.
Tried sealing $500 from me and act like the charge didn't go through
Ordered my laptop last week, the day it was supposed to be shipped they canceled my order and said they never charged me but my card statements prove otherwise. Probably going to loose my job because im on a work trip and now i can't afford to go to Bestbuy to get anything because they still have my money.
Im almost positive they couldn't find the laptop i ordered and tried to make an excuse and make it my fault. The laptop was still been prepared so it would have had to be overnighted to show up when they said it would. It was supposed to be here on the 22nd and on the 20th they locked me out of my account so i couldn't see if it was shipped or not telling me to call customer support then told me it was canceled because i confirmed my billing address, not sure what they are smoking on their breaks
At the end of the call they thanked me for being a customer and for choosing newegg to waste my time. im not a customer, i didn't get anything but scammed.

Newegg used to be THE people that were usually reliable over the years, but they have bought into the current Corporate environment hook line and sinker. They cannot be trusted anymore. The last 2 laptop purchases of over $5000.00 have failed with NO support unless you want to jump through multiple hoops from the "sellers". The last was a very expensive laptop that failed after I had it set up and running and tried to boot it in secure boot to remedy and issue. Suddenly my Microsoft "pin" does not work and I bought a Brick!!?? Microsoft "support" was a Joke and now I have to fix this? I have spent hours and thousands of dollars with NO support and I know a little of what I speak. New users are gonna be gobbled up by these predator practices!! Stay Away from these Corporate Monopolies Especially Microsoft Windows!

Terrible customer service. It's a long story to be honest (which should speak to how difficult it was to get ahold of them), but basically they scammed me and used false advertising.

Don't seem to care about their legal obligations.
Tried to get a refund on a part in warranty, they only offered less than half of what I paid until I told them they were likely breaking the law.
Now still only offering the full amount but in ways that are in breach of what my Federal consumer rights regulator says. Newegg doesn't care.
If this trick works for them, they are unjustly ripping off many international customers.

Disappointing First Impression
I tried ordering a laptop as a new customer, and Newegg canceled my order with no explanation. Then they blocked my account. I opened a new one to try again—only to find my shipping address was now flagged. I’ve never even had the chance to be a customer. If this is how Newegg treats new buyers, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

They have a store card, which you cannot use for their 'Make an offer' thing. Customer service are obviously completely f-ing clueless too, when they bother to actually be available after you suffer through the stupid chat bot.
