I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company.

My divorce is completely uncontested. My spouse and I agreed on all terms, including how we wanted to handle the division of our home. During Phase 1, I disclosed how we intended to divide the property and was told that those issues would be addressed during Phase 2 of the process.

Based on those representations, I proceeded with the service and paid the finalization fee. Only after I paid the finalization fee was I informed that the property division agreement my spouse and I had reached was supposedly outside the scope of their services.

After considerable back-and-forth, the company offered three options for handling the residence. I agreed to proceed under one of the options they specifically offered. Despite that, they still refused to complete the services for which I paid.

What is most frustrating is that my spouse and I are in complete agreement. There is no dispute between us. We simply wanted our agreement documented. When the company said our preferred language was outside their scope, I agreed to proceed with one of their standard options, yet they still would not move forward.

I am currently fighting to recover the money I paid for services that were never completed.

My experience has been one of changing explanations, poor communication, and a refusal to provide the services that were advertised. If you have any issues involving property, even when both parties are in complete agreement.

Based on my experience I recommend you stay far away from this company! For reference I have been in correspondence with numerous people via email and NONE of them have been any bit of help. It is my experience they are a scam service who tries to steal your money.

I had a simple divorce: no real assets, no kids, no property. We were both agreeable on the division of what we owned and didn't need hard negotiation from attorneys to reach that point. So, the New York Divorce Online made sense for us. I have a college education and operate computers for my job. Once I got started on the NYDO website, things moved quickly. In fact, the first time I looked at the website, is when I got started. It took me six months, start to finish (we had agreed to a legal separation date which was about six months earlier so it was about a year if you include that time). In my opinion, New York Divorce Online is all about the savings on legal fees. I was very happy not to spend what little money I do have on a costly divorce. And, NYDO answered every question I had with clear information and directions from start to finish. If your divorce meets the criteria and you feel comfortable reading the legal jargon, New York Divorce Online may be a good choice for you.

Great experience, great communication, fast response, took about 70 days from start to finish in Queens NY.

They Scam and rip people off. When I found out that I had to wait 6 months for them to start my service, I emailed and tried contacting them the next day requesting a refund, but they were not responding and were negligent to my requests, So I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. But they had the audacity to give false report to my credit card company and had to be rebilled. So I tried contacting them requesting a refund and a cancellation, they rejected my refund and did not provide me any cancellation notice and was going back in forth with them and the credit card company. Still fighting to get my 250$ back.. They are Scammers. Do not go with this service.

Was very quick and easy. Everything was straightforward and the most work I had to do was getting my ex to sign, everything else was smooth sailing

Paralegals were quick to process documents and helpful if I had questions. The process went by quickly and final decree was created 3 months later. Instructions were thorough and easy to understand. I would recommend this service to anyone provided any disagreements are resolved prior to starting the process. Notaries were efficient and explained the process with patience. Single girl after 42 years!!

Everything was so easy and simple to do. They guide you through every step of the way. Surprisingly it was extremely fast too. As soon as one step is done you’re on to the next. Even the final granting of the divorce only took a few days.

I am absolutely happy with my results! Everything was fast, we signed our last signatures on 11/21/25 and was finalized yesterday 11/25/25! The entire experience from start to finish was easy and seamless. The only reason it took me a long period of time is because my ex-spouse took awhile to sign the notarized papers. They were very responsive anytime I reached out, well worth the money.!!

The first attorney, Michael, that worked on my case ignored me, was rude, and abrasive. Then the second person (the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1), Kim, was amazing. I wasn't even told when Kim was no longer with the company, only after I reached out to her personally did I even know. Fast forward 6 almost 7 months later, that same first person is back on my case still ignores my emails and has done nothing on my case. Seems to be the trend with this company since April based on the downspiral of reviews. Looks like the company lost the good employee and kept the bad one, maybe this will get everyone's attention and they will go with a different company, that is what I am doing. You'll be ignored, forgotten, and talked down to like you are lesser than.

For the mere fact that I didn’t have to leave my house for the proceedings, it’s enough for me.
I started the process in March and it was ended in August same year. It was convenient for me and I would recommend the company. My emails were responded and someone was always there to help me through their chat.

I need to finish my divorce quickly but it has been 2 years since we applied . They recently submitted papers to court and they lied that it will be done within 6 weeks. Then they changed the story and said there is nothing they can do because it’s up to the court how long it will take. I paid all my fees and they don’t even respond to my emails or calls. They didn’t even provided me with an index number.
