This is a horribly run initiative. DO NOT give them your money!!!
This is a horribly run initiative, from the event coordination all the way down to the social media management.
They waited until late in the afternoon to announce that they would be postponing the show to later tonight. They didn't say what time, exactly. We've been under severe storm and flood warnings all day with horrible weather, yet they still refused to just cancel or postpone to another day. They actually had the nerve to instruct people to come to the venue, as planned, and wait in their cars!
Some people went ahead and went to the venue. Nitro circus social media was dead silent and everyone was left to speculate on whether the event would be called off for tonight, or not.
Eventually, after several hours and scouring the comments on the event page, I found out from a fellow customer that the show started at around 8:20 PM.
The start time was NEVER announced by Nitro Circus on their page. We had to find out what was going on from other people who attended. Now, because they chose to proceed (in the rain, mind you, and refuse to allow umbrellas??) we will not be given a refund.
I paid almost $200 for VIP tickets. For one thing, even for the people who went and sat at the venue to await word on a potential start time, there was absolutely NO VIP show. So, at the very least, a portion of all of our money should be refunded.

Been trying to get reimbursed for tickets as the show was postponed due to the pandemic and I am not getting anywhere. The show was suppose to take place almost a year ago now. Very frustrated and unhappy with their customer service efforts.
Not allowing refunds due to the virus
Not allowing refunds due to the virus. Sitting on customer's money and not even allowing a way to get in touch with them.
very disappointing had vip tickets but…
very disappointing had vip tickets but all that gave you was a plastic stacker chair in a spot where the kids couldn’t see over the people in front and we just looked into the sun an Occasionally see a silhouette in the air. We where there for just over 4 hours and would be lucky to have had and 1 1/2 hours of entertainment (if you could call a silhouette that)
Do not waste your money!
Do not waste your money!! Spent 4 hours driving to Ballarat to watch Nitro Circus. After paying the $100 per ticket (x3 as I took my kids $300) expected a good show. What a joke!! What I thought would be great seats turned out to be plastic out door chairs which due to the design of the oval were lower the further you were in the seating area. As you can imagine when seated all you looked at was the back of the head of the person in front
Add to that the lay out of the ramps and jumps set up in the direction the sun was setting meant to watch the show you had to look right into the sun. Whose idea was that?
I saw Nitro Circus 6 years ago at the Melbourne tennis centre and it was great. 6 years later I watched that exact same show recycled. I expected far more. Never again.
I wish I read these reviews before…
I wish I read these reviews before paying for the VIP tickets. I went to the 2020 show at Wangaratta tonight and it was an absolute waste of money. The show is now just trading on the name to steal people’s money. Don’t fall for it! Especially not the wasted VIP tickets that get you nothing but a worse seat and a longer time to get in early and wait for garbage. Couldn’t even see the landing ramp of the Mx take off ramps from our “VIP” seats

there are many reasons why i wouldn't attend nitro circus live again. the first is that we payed extra for the 'VIP' experience where we would get to walk the tracks and jumps, get a tag that says we are VIP, and get in early. the only thing that actually happened was we got in early. we got no tags and didn't get to walk the track. we did, however, get the chance to sit unsheltered in the cold rain for about 3 and a half hours, only for the show to get delayed. the sweatshirt that i bought for $75 stained almost everything i put in its pocket. the show was very repetitive and got uninteresting quick after a while, and they didn't do a lot that they were supposed to do, but i don't blame them for that because it was wet and dangerous. but altogether, the VIP tickets were a rip off, the clothes sucked, it was repetitive, and a waste of money for me.
Yawn; Just watch the movie and save yourself.
Took my son and wife to this. Watching re-runs of the old Nitro Circus movie was far better. This was just some people doing a few jumps, rinse and repeat. Nothing pushing the limits. Surprised they riders were not yawning all the time themselves.
All the props (eg rubbish bin, seat, etc are just shells with a scooter under them so hardly "wow" factor. Ended up leaving with about 20 min remaining because well it was hard to stay awake.
Too expensive, not pushing limits, wouldn't think twice about declining it next time.
Highly disappointed with the show
Highly disappointed with the show. Definitely not the best show they have done. Left early.. standard moto tricks nothing new. And no Travis or any of the true members. Not going to attend another.
Medicore at best
Watched this at Sydney's olympic park yesterday. It was pretty average, if that. 3 hours (with 30 min break) of very poor acoustics that you couldn't hear the presenters very well at all. The bits you did hear were all scripted garbage towards a very unenthused audience. Extremely cringe-worthy 'USA vs AUS' comments throughout that weren't necessary. The jumps and tricks were indeed impressive but nothing death defying or staggering enough to take your breath away. They were quite infrequent throughout with long periods between the jumps making it an overall quite boring experience. Not an action-packed on the edge of your seat experience. I would not recommend it and certainly would not attend again. Extremely disappointed especially at the high cost of seats for a quite mediocre show. It really needs to reinvent itself as a higher octane more exciting show.
Got robbed by nitro circus it sucked.
It sucked 80 bucks a seat I've been to parking lot demos that were better.I will never pay to see anything they do again. Wish I could get my money back.the riders were ok but the show the setup the host was bad I mean sad.paid to watch two slobs talk for two hours host.and parking really had no planning. Travis will never get my money again not even to see his new movie. One star wish I could go lower. Sad sad sad!!!!!!!!
I saw the nitro circus at Optus stadium…
I saw the nitro circus at Optus stadium perth and paid extra for VIP tickets, there was nothing VIP about it! the vip behind the scenes track walk was a taped off walk past the ramps which you can see from your seat nothing behind the scenes or vip. The meet and greet with the riders was 4 seperate tables set up with with riders sat at them it was packed you couldn't see who was sat at the tables and you could only go past one of the tables. when I asked Jed Mildon where Travis pastrana was as i wanted him to sign the $150 shirt I bought for my son he responded with if you f*** off outside you'll see him. the show finished early, Travis pastrana did 1 or 2 boring jumps, there wasn't any pyrotechnics like I saw when i saw the show at nib stadium and in certain areas you couldn't hear the commentary. Seems Travis thinks he's too good for his fans no appearance at the meet and greet and only 2 jumps and Jed Mildon needs to watch his mouth I wouldn't go again and the vip is a scam
Nitro Circus at Navy-Marine Corp stadium
I saw the Nitro Circus at the Navy-Marine Corp stadium in Annapolis, July 23rd. I will say all the many stunts were amazing which is why the review is not a one star.
It rained off and on for most of the day during the event with deep gray skies. First, the announcer postponed the kicking-off the circus for about an hour. Finally, the first half was conducted and entertaining. Then, the rain started again. The rabid, hyped-up announcer stated there would be a "25 minute break and then a decision to continue or cancel would be made". I soooo wished I had left then the dirty noisy stadium with a huge concession line way understaffed. No overpriced food or refreshment available.
No announcement was made, it was TWO MORE HOURS of being held prisoner in what was now looking like a concrete prison before the second half was reconvened. I am guessing the Management decided to string the audience along to avoid any losses. Instead of offering a rain-date(or partial refund)...Apparently, it appears if things go astray the audience will take low priority and end up on the short side.
Refund
