Discrimination based on passport

The school has available positions for the student depending on the nationality. So even if you are rich expact but the kid has passport from estarn Europe/ south America don't bother to attend introduction meeting because after a few months your kid will not be enrolled

Disappointed with the Experience – Not Worth the Hype or Cost

I enrolled my child at Nobel Algarve British International School in Lagoa expecting a high standard of education and professionalism, but unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing on several levels.

First, communication between the school and parents is poor and often inconsistent. Important updates are frequently missed or sent out last minute, leaving families scrambling to make arrangements. There’s also a notable lack of transparency when it comes to academic performance or how the curriculum is actually being implemented.

The quality of teaching varies greatly. While a few teachers are dedicated and competent, others seem disengaged or unqualified to teach in an international environment. This inconsistency has impacted my child’s motivation and progress.

Another major issue is the school's leadership and management. Concerns raised by parents often go unanswered or are dismissed without resolution. It feels more like a business than a school — focused on enrollment numbers and image rather than student development and wellbeing.

For the high tuition fees, one would expect better facilities, more robust academic programs, and a stronger support system. Sadly, the reality falls short. I would advise prospective parents to explore other international schools in the region before committing to Nobel Algarve.

Nobel Almancil is a horrible school

Nobel Almancil is a horrible school. They hire teachers who don't even have the right qualifications , and even the heads of department are not qualified to do so. Really unorganized, children do not receive the marks they deserve because staff is ordered not to give low marks and they spend most of the time on school trips instesd of learning. The head of the school is a despot. All he and the school are worried about is making money and not providing good education. They fire the qualified teachers to place friends and family members in good positions. Worst school in the area.
