Thank you Norwegian air for two of the softest most pleasant landings I have experienced in a long time. It’s clear you prioritize the comfort of your passengers.
Rebooked on a flight that gives us 45 minutes at destination before we have to return
We are booked to fly to a funeral in the morning today and return early evening the same day. Norwegian canceled our departure and rebooked us on a flight that does not allow us to attend the funeral. That, obviously, is absolutely devastating.
But how can Norwegian, LEGALLY, rebook us on a flight landing at 15.30, now further delayed to 15.55 (almost four hours later than the flight we bought) when our return the same day is 18.40, meaning check-in at 16.40?
Shame on you, Norwegian! Shame!

I changed a ticket day and time for some reason the day did not get changed and only time. I called customer service to have this sorted out they could not help me and ask me to pay the fee to change it again and see refund for previous change. All got declinced. I did all this within 15mins of ticket change, they scam me for 600euro total. Watch out norwegian is not what they were. Scum scammer company now.

One too many time's I've pre-ordered meals and have not gotten. Not only have I not gotten them but many of the middle rows were COMPLETELY IGNORED as they just sped through them without being able to say anything.

We have had many flights with Norwegian - always with great success, -until now!
Today the flight has been delayed for almost 8 hours because of something tecnical. This can happen for anyone and any airline.
Compensation so far has been 2 times 12 Euro coupons for food and drinks (thats okay:).
Norwegian has to give a larger compensation and this might be the breaking point - hopefully they will pass this test as well, -as the have passed all the other tests - cross my fingers :)
I can only say Norwigian Air is…Super service.

Gatwick to Riga via Copenhagen. Food is good.
Staff are so friendly.. they keep you up to date.

They have the worst app/log in procedure ever!! you sent an email to reset the password, they sent you a new password, you try to log in but keep receiving the same message "your password is wrong". " Prøv igen senere. Hvis problemet fortsætter, så ring til Internetsupport på (+45) 70 80 78 80" - and there is no option to fix this! OUTRAGEOUS!!
Took My Money, No Flight, Points Expired
In 2020, I purchased tickets to the US with Norwegian. When the pandemic hit, instead of a refund, they offered me CashPoints. I accepted, thinking I could use them once things returned to normal. However, Norwegian stopped flying to the US, and my points expired. In the end, I lost my money, and the airline offered no reasonable solution. Extremely disappointing experience—completely unprofessional and unacceptable!
You can't make a mistake with Norwegian Airlines
I recently had an unfortunate experience with Norwegian Airlines.
I initially attempted to book an internal flight from Oslo to Bergen through the Norwegian Airlines website, but due to a technical issue, I had to complete the booking via Booking.com. Unfortunately, upon arriving at the airport, I discovered that I had inadvertently booked the flight for the wrong date, a month later than intended.
Despite the fact that there were numerous available seats on the correct day and no logistical impact on the airline, I was required to purchase new tickets at full price. This resulted in my family effectively paying twice for the same journey.
We had a hotel reservation in Bergen that we could not cancel, which compounded our difficulties. What I find particularly troubling is that Norwegian Airlines had ample time to cancel the incorrect booking and suffered no additional costs, yet still chose to charge us twice. I was actually speaking to the NA desk at Oslo airport so they could have easily changed it.
While I understand that flexible ticket options are available, these would have been prohibitively expensive, costing nearly as much as the original tickets. It raises the question of why all tickets could not have some degree of flexibility to account for honest mistakes, thereby demonstrating compassion and understanding towards your customers.
In an age where digital automation often overrides human judgement, it is disheartening to see how strict adherence to inflexible policies can result in negative experiences that tarnish a brand’s reputation. The decision to charge my family twice for what was clearly an honest mistake has left a lasting negative impression. I was also informed at the check-in desk that situations like mine "happen all the time," which only adds to my disappointment.
As a result, I find it difficult to consider flying with Norwegian Airlines again and would advise friends and family to seek alternatives.
Compounding this again was the fact you have no one human to speak to afterwards. Booking.com say "speak to NA" and NA say "Speak to booking.com.
They send you around and around in a circle to frustrate and demotivate you.
I think it's sad that the majority of large businesses these days seem to feel it's ok to treat their customers like dirt. It doesn't make you want to leave your home.
Good flight
Excellent flight from Edinburgh to Copenhagen. Very friendly cabin crew. Arrived exactly on time.1000 times better than Ryanair. Would definitely fly with them again.
Last three fligths delayed
Last three flights delayed. Too unreliable as a work carrier, completely unusable if you need to be anywhere on time. Business meeting? Forget it! Connecting fligth? no way... The minimal savings are not worth the risks.
Avoid Norwegian
Always flew with Ryanair, never a single problem. Tried Norwegian: 2 hours delay. Missed bus, missed hotel, missed everything. A crappie airline pretending to be a first class one.
Stay away from this airline emergencily
We came early to the airport and our flight was delayed for 8 hours because of some aircraft problems. I have flight with them 8 times and 3/8 times they had problems which have to delay at least 4 hours per time. So terrible and frustrated
Non Existant Priority Boarding
I bought Priority boarding for flights to and from London to Copenhagen. On the outward flight it was completely no existant on the return flight there was cursory call for the check in but the actual boarding process was just a cattle market. Don't buy this service it is just a con.
The worst experience
Flight D83520 CPH - LGW. Cancelled our return flight an hour before departure, due to adverse weather conditions at Gatwick (which may have been the case, although we could see all other operators landing no problem), but fobbed us off with a 3 day alternative flight home. 3 days! Expected us to sort out accommodation, no food vouchers, transport etc and just advised us we'd be able to claim it all back.
Clearly a 3 day delay wasn't acceptable, so we emergency booked an alternative flight the following day with a claim going in for everything next day. It's taken Norwegian 7 weeks to reply with a refund just for our hotel and unused flight tickets only. They're disputing the other flights booked, because we didn't let them know and we should've flown with Norwegian! Nowhere did it state we had to let them know and if we could've flown with Norwegian, we would have!
Currently £600 out of pocket for a situation that wasn't our fault and they have the audacity to add on their refund email "we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board a Norwegian flight when you next choose to travel" I will NEVER fly with Norwegian again, nor will the rest of our party who travelled with us.
01/10/24 update. Still fighting to get the money back after escalating to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) while the interest accrues on my credit card. Disgusting service
22/10/24 update. CAA escalation prompted the refund of all expenses, thankfully, but they would've never paid out had we not escalated. They were banking on us not putting in the hard work. Absolute cowboys. DO NOT USE!
Don’t fly Norwegian!
I wish I’d read these reviews before I booked. I needed seats at the front of the plane, I booked them and they moved us to the middle of the plane! I had no idea that an airline could take money for seat reservations and then ignore them! Isn’t that theft?

Rude and impolite costumer service
Very very rude costumer service I ever talked to! He thought I was a dumb person but sorry,.. not me… He had taste his own medicine! I’ve heard their costumer service are like this.. They should be fired from their job and hire some educated amd well-breed employees… Sorry not sorry..🙄
