Beware at the airport as Norwegian…
Beware at the airport as Norwegian airlines send you to a check in kiosk where you incur extra charges even though you have already checked in online. They then refuse to refund you even though there is an obvious error. Staff are exceptionally rude and unhelpful at the airport which was very upsetting especially at the start of a holiday.
Terrible airline
Terrible airline. The employees, specially at the gate, are rude and hostile. They made me pay a fee for a cabin luggage, even though the checkin luggage was included. Would not be so bad if they were friendly and helpful. But the overall attitude is very very bad. Last time travelling with these guys.

Damaged luggage refund scam process
I want to share a feedback for the future. Your airline has no customer understanding what so ever. Our luggage was destroyed by your airline on the 12 October. We went to station at Arlanda to get help, there lady told us she has no idea how claim works and asked to scan a QR code. I did that right away, respecting the 7 day rule. Took all pics, attached invoices, filled in account details, got a message claim was created and got a reference. I left the airport. What a surprise that in the confirmation SMS was a link, which I disregarded, as I already have an sms with confirmation and a reference. I needed to follow link and fill in info I have already provided on another page. Where were I uploading pics? where did I leave my account details? And now I get an answer that since I provided second part of info after 7 days - you will not refund us. Excuse me? I have got your message and reference on the same day? I sent all pics and all proofs that I reported in time! You have an absolutely inhuman process! In the airport, with broken stroller bag with a baby - you think I will follow some link? When you text "claim created?". Say in your message then "You are almost done, one more step left." you are scammers who trick people like that not to pay that refund back. Will never use you again, will tell all my friends and family. You saved 130€ on us - great for company to earn money of our unpaid damages. Guess that is the way if you have a bad company. Shame on you, on your process designers and on how you treat customers. And do not even bother answering with polite chat GPT generated message. Shame on this company and its workers.
They leave people stranded over night
Left us stranded at an airport when they cancelled our flight due to tech difficulties. No reps from the airline to help out the 200+ passengers, no info and no support whatsoever.
Customer service shuts at 18 on a Sunday, so you are then basically shafted. Customer service and support is a travesty!!!
Denied boarding together with over 16 other passengers
We were scheduled to fly with you on October 13th at 09:35 AM from Rome-Fiumicino to Copenhagen. We arrived at 06:30 AM and were first in line for check-in. At check-in, Norwegian informed us the flight was overbooked, and we might not get on. We were told to wait at the gate, but ultimately, we and 16 others were denied boarding. I informed Norwegian that I have a chronic illness and must take medication daily, making it critical I return on October 13th. Despite this, we were told nothing could be done. Norwegian offered us a flight on October 14th at 9:30 PM, but this was unacceptable due to my condition AND the fact that it is a delay of 36 hours. We declined and instead booked another flight with another company. I still have not received the 400€ in compensation or got any refunds for the flight ticket. Absolutely crazy to overbook a flight with more than 16 passengers and have the audacity to rebook us on a flight 36 hours later. I will from now on avoid flying with you ever again and hope people will do the same if they want to make sure to get on the plane via the ticket they have booked and paid for at Norwegian.
I got charged double for my check-in…
I got charged double for my check-in baggage, I've been waiting 20 days for a response on my refund.
I got an answer after sending them a reminder on email, telling me to have patience on the case, so I call them to see what's going on and they cannot connect me to the right department, it's all hidden behind online forms, no response, no updates and they say the handling time is 9 weeks from a submitted claim.
Awful company
I had a big trip planned for October. We were due to fly Dublin > Riga (with Ryanair), Riga > Helsinki (with Scandinavian), Helsinki > Stockholm (with Scandinavian), Stockholm > Athens (with Norwegian) and Athens > Dublin (with Aer Lingus). My grandfather unfortunately passed away a few days prior to the trip and I had to cancel. All of the other airlines were very sympathetic and offered full refunds, except for Norwegian. I sent them all relevant documents and at an already highly stressful time they made things worse. A really, truly, horrible company with no empathy whatsoever. I will never fly with them again and will strongly encourage anyone else not to do so.

Flight was cancelled 3 hours before departure and re-booked on flight for the following morning. We had to book our own hotel room for the night, and are still waiting for a refund a month later. I don’t understand how Norwegian think it is acceptable to make their customers wait this long for their money.

Rebooked on a flight that gives us 45 minutes at destination before we have to return
We are booked to fly to a funeral in the morning today and return early evening the same day. Norwegian canceled our departure and rebooked us on a flight that does not allow us to attend the funeral. That, obviously, is absolutely devastating.
But how can Norwegian, LEGALLY, rebook us on a flight landing at 15.30, now further delayed to 15.55 (almost four hours later than the flight we bought) when our return the same day is 18.40, meaning check-in at 16.40?
Shame on you, Norwegian! Shame!

I changed a ticket day and time for some reason the day did not get changed and only time. I called customer service to have this sorted out they could not help me and ask me to pay the fee to change it again and see refund for previous change. All got declinced. I did all this within 15mins of ticket change, they scam me for 600euro total. Watch out norwegian is not what they were. Scum scammer company now.

One too many time's I've pre-ordered meals and have not gotten. Not only have I not gotten them but many of the middle rows were COMPLETELY IGNORED as they just sped through them without being able to say anything.

We have had many flights with Norwegian - always with great success, -until now!
Today the flight has been delayed for almost 8 hours because of something tecnical. This can happen for anyone and any airline.
Compensation so far has been 2 times 12 Euro coupons for food and drinks (thats okay:).
Norwegian has to give a larger compensation and this might be the breaking point - hopefully they will pass this test as well, -as the have passed all the other tests - cross my fingers :)
