I contacted their customer services to get an update on new stock due to arrive on their website. The customer service representative Viv was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and went up and beyond to help me. A great overall experience and great customer service given. Will definately shop there again.

I was looking for a signature shoe, and I have found a great Company which makes amazing and iconic products. These shoes are unbelievably comfortable, greatly made, and so cool! The customer service is fast, caring, loving, pleasant, and helpful. The best!

Had an issue with a pair of boots and they not only responded quickly but sent me a free replacement. Genuinely impressed and happy to shop with them again.

I wanted to support a UK company after Doc Martens moved most of its manufacturing to the far east and became owned by a venture capital company. Unfortunately with two out my three pairs of boots splitting between the welt and sole after a little over a year, I’ll be trying some different companies, maybe Lanx. Solovair support just recommended a few repair companies (the boot repair company were good with the first pair costing me around £80 with postage), but that doesn’t really sort a quality control issue at manufacturer.

, I have had 4 pairs of solovair boots, I used to wear docs when they were good from the eighties ,i Was recommended solovair after DM failures , first solovairs approx 8 years ago lasted 3 years second pair 2 years ,third pair 1 year last pair 6 months , I have fixed them up with e6000 flexible glue with leather patches in each case to extend life . they always split along seam and also generally leather cracks despite regular polishing

I bought a pair of Gaucho crazy horse 8 eye boot with the shearling lining. The boots are well made and nice finish, however there is too much flex in the tongue and it doesn’t seem stitched in high enough. End result is, no matter how tight you tie them the tongue ends up folding into the boot making them uncomfortable after half and hour. This would not be a problem with the dealer style pull on boot. Just the lace up version. Waste of £200 and they are unwearable.

The boots and shoes are overall great. And the customer support is even better. They are nice and friendly and help you with any questions that you have(Thank you, Lee from Solovair;-)
I have two pairs of shoes and in the next time i will buy a third pair.I can definetely recommend Solovair and their support. 5*

I visited the factory shop to buy a pair of Gibson shoes, wanting to check the sizing and leather options before buying. I ended up with the Gibson in Oxblood leather, although several of the other options were nice.

Measuring with a Start-Rite shoe guage at home, my larger foot is about a size 8.2 and the middle of width G. I ended up with a size 9 Solovair, where I usually wear size 8-8.5 in Clark's.

These are very nice shoes, which should be long lasting and properly repairable.

Love at first sight! Beautiful boots, lovely feel and super interesting look with the rub-off effect. Really nice blue/black contrast. I've never been bothered about nice footwear, but in my mid-life-crisis I want a bit of colour around me! Honestly, really, really happy with this purchase, and I'm already eyeing-up the flame rub-offs.

I had originally bought some DM rub-offs on Amazon, and they were appalling - I didn't even try them on - sent them back the same day.

So glad to have found Solovair available in Europe. I bought these online on the Friday, and they arrived on the Monday. I usually take a size UK 11 / EU 46 and they were a little small, but the exchange process was very easy and fast - I exchanged for an 11.5 which fit perfectly. Within just a week the replacements were delivered and I was very happy that there was no postage charge for either way.

This company has their processes running like clockwork, which is an added plus - to be honest though, if the aftersales were poor, I would still be a very happy customer, because the quality of the boots is something very, very special.

Excellent quality, excellent service and I will be a customer for life. This company does things "the British way" and should be proud of delivering excellence.

Great brand with amazing customer support, reliable delivery. Ordered one pair for myself and one pair for my partner (which I initially had to return due to sizing issues - replacement arrived promptly and perfect size). Very good quality of products and responsive team.

I bought a pair of Solovair factory seconds in February 2025 as my existing daily wear boots from another British company are requiring stitching and restoration after just over a year (wont name them!).

The boots were approx. 1/2 price and I was expecting something cosmetically obvious to be wrong with them. However, I simply cannot find where the fault is as they look flawless. They have proven in the last month to be excellent quality and extremely well made. more flexible soles than DM and better finishing. I will definitely be buying more from them.

The best boots, pricey but for a good reason: made in UK, from quality materials, they can be re-soled, and can last a lifetime ! (Unlike the "yellow" competitor)
Got myself a brand new pair of steel toe Derby boots, love them.

Repeat customer here that hasn't had anything except the highest quality and service. These are real leather products so make sure you take care of them so they don't crack and rub the color off. My first pair are a couple years old of regular use and because I know how to use the care kit even the creases aren't even that bad.

We live in the era where the angry people show up to make sure everyone around them knows they're upset, but the people with excellent experiences don't. I wonder how many people's issue could have been resolved if they tried talking to them before sprinting to complain.

CAN'T WAIT TO ORDER A THIRD PAIR!

Last year the sole on my shoes split. I contacted Solovair to ask if they could fix them. They offer a resole service so I assumed they would if I paid for that service. I provided a picture and they said the sole where it’s heat sealed onto the Goodyear welt had failed.

They gave me their address and told me to send them to them.

They fixed them free of charge and even paid the postage back.

They are an amazing company. The boots are 5 years old now and have been worn a lot. They have lasted so much better than the DM boots I had.

They are a brilliant company with excellent customer care and make a great quality item. I will buy from them again.

I bought a pair of rub-off colored shoes last month and the part on the leather at the tongue is falling apart and peeling off. I'd already bought a pair last year and the sole had cracked.

I thought I was buying quality shoes, but I'm really disappointed and you should think twice before ordering because of the poor quality control.

This was my 1st experience and it was great! I ordered the wrong size and went through the exchange steps. This resulted in real person email contact with Karen. Her communication was very clear and immediate each time I emailed her. She quickly altered my request for a half size change to a full size when I asked. When I inquired about adding a container of cream to my exchange she just threw it in for no charge. She did not wait until receiving my return before shipping out my replacement pair, as is the written policy. I received my exchange in just days to the midwest USA. In the end, I ordered the first pair, exchanged them, and had the new pair on my feet in barely over a week's time. I've been very impressed with the whole experience and very grateful to Karen for such efficient and personal customer service. Thank you!

Simply amazing quality. Right out of the box, you can tell that the leather is far superior that another famous brand, which has crappy, hard-to-break-in leather. On feet, they were nothing short of exceptional, too.

Got sold a faulty pair with manufacturing defect, which made shoes unusable. No reply from customer service at all. Next time I’ll put my money straight to the bin to save hustle.

Absolutely amazing boots in sizes that are actually available in my size. I wear a UK 14, and it has been a nightmare trying to find boots my size. I have been on a competitors mailing list for over 1.5 years, for stock alerts of my size, to which I have heard nothing. Solovair readily stock many different types of boots and shoes in my size, for a good price with good quality.
