Warning of allergy risk

I purchased the Nurture Replenish day and night creams two weeks ago. There is a warning to do a skin test and leave for 24 hours. This I did and no effect noticed so for three days I used the day and night creams. The result has been catastrophic. I have wealds of sore itchy skin on my face and neck with areas where the skin appears burnt and bleeding. I have needed medical treatment and ten days later the allergic reaction is only just settling. The company seem uninterested beyond offering a refund. I offered photographs of my skin allergy but they make no response. These products should carry a warning and recommend a much longer timescale for skin tests. I would also expect that they might take the product off the market until further assessments are undertaken. Their response is seriously indifferent.

Slow delivery and misleading advertising

I've been using Nurture skincare products for several years, most of the products are good value but since they moved their warehouse from the Channel Islands to mainland Europe the service has gone downhill, Delivery is much slower now, 2 weeks is not unusual. Also, I find it very annoying when I get emails offering discounts then when I go onto the website to buy, the discount code either doesn't work, or it turns out to only apply to some products, which isn't made clear in the email ad, and I've now reported the company to the ASA for misleading advertising. The discount code I tried to use today promised '15% off all products, except supplements' but of the 3 items I put in the basket only 2 were discounted. The person I spoke to at Customer Services wasn't very helpful, he said the third item (face cream) was a new product and excluded from the discount offer. I argued that the offer conditions only excluded supplements, which this obviously wasn't, and said nothing about new products being excluded, but he refused the discount, so I cancelled the order. He didn't seem to care. There are several recent poor reviews of Nurture on this site, and with so much competition in the beauty product market I'm surprised they aren't more worried about losing customers. I won't be ordering from them again.

Painfully Slow Delivery

I have been using various Nurture Skin Care Products for a number of years now, I like their products and their customer service was always very good. However, something has changed within the company as their delivery times are now abysmal. I've been waiting nearly 2 weeks now for an order that supposedly was despatched 11 days ago. I've never encountered such a slow delivery service and can only guess, as others have commented, that their products are now coming through Europe. Customer Services are take days to actually reply beyond a standard acknowledgement. Such a pity as, should my order ever arrive, I will be very reluctant to order with them again.

Very poor - not what they were

Having used for a few years , things have declined markedly in the last few years :(
Prices increasing beyond market rates and delivery slower and slower . I'm not interested in why or excuses - no one else in the market is behaving this way so no excuses Nurture !
The info about transactions taking place in Holland is well hidden so not something they are proud of ......
I've been told by staff at the call centre in Portsmouth (?) that they are having shifts cut and are being sent home early so sorry times ahead for Nurture :(
Change back before it's too late ! - products once great value have become average at best - add slow delivery and I can see no reason to carry on buying especially as the UK doesn't see the full benefit in tax of the transaction .

Not Uk or Channel Islands anymore - now a European company !

Females in my family used for years but not anymore - used to be great - now the actual purchase takes place in Holland !

They will probably come back and say they have a UK call centre , Head Office in Jersey , taxes paid etc but the plain fact is that they conduct business in Holland with you and don't draw your attention to that fact so , to my mind that means they would rather you didn't know :(
Ask for a VAT invoice with your next order and see the truth .

Simple economics I guess - the only reason to offshore is profit - much like Starbucks , Amazon etc - pay less tax, take more profit and do not support the country that feeds them as much as they could .

We wont support companies that omit vital information like this - I agree you can find out but you need to dig that info out ! What else would we find if we looked hard enough ! ?

Really really bad

I brought a day and night cream and foundation for my mum after she had great results from using the collagen boosting serum. After a few days of using her new products the skin on her face was all burnt, really deep burns in places. Straight away I eemailed the company to try and find out what could have caused this so we could try and treat it. Nearly 1 month later after re sending the mail many times I have had no response and my mum is left with scars on her face. Really disgusted that no one came back to us to help.

Shampoo and conditioner that does what it says!

I have used the Nurture Replenish shampoo and conditioner for 2 months. I am amazed at the improvement in the texture and thickness of my hair. It became very thin and dry last year and I began to worry that I was losing a lot of hair at every wash. Far less is coming out now. My hairdresser has noticed the change and says "keep doing what you are doing, it's working."
It costs more than I would usually pay but is lasting very well.

Quality vitamins and beauty products - well pleased!

I have purchased HealthSpan vitamins for many years. I enjoy reading the magazine and learning what works together for various problems.
I decided to give their Nurture products a try whilst prices were reduced - the only other product I have been as happy with is the Boots Protect and Perfect range!
I was wary about changing. However...after a couple of weeks of collagen pump and Day care SPF15 I am delighted! No rashes or skin eruptions....soft skin...very happy!
Well packaged, quality products delivered within a week - excellent!

Poor packaging

Excellent product and good value but the packaging seriously let it down. The ink came off across my hand and stained the skin on the under eye concealer. I now only know what it is by the shape of the container.
The whole range looks cheap and nasty and have to hide it away in bathroom cabinet!

Reliability guaranteed

I buy products regularly from Healthspan, Nurture and VetVits. Because of my financial situation I usually only place small orders as and when I need them and I appreciate the good service I receive. Top quality products and first class customer service.

Why is Nurture such a secret?

I am fairly new to this range - eight months. Previously I was using Dermalogica and Liz Earle, but I will stay with the moisturisers as they are better! I have a few issues such as dry skin, sensitivity, acne-prone and of course anti-aging so I have to be a bit particular. Ethics are vital to me too, so only companies using a fixed cut-off date with regard to animal testing are acceptable to me.
I am about to try the body butter and serums but the moisturisers are so good I don't know why nurture is not in the glossies and daily papers.

Best quality, best value.

I have used Face Protector Factor 30 cream for many years and though I'll admit I have been tempted to try more expensive, widely advertised alternatives, I always return to Daily Face Protector SPF 30. Though Nurtureskincare's Customer Service is excellent, the price extremely fair, delivery swift, and free postage an added bonus, none of this would count if the product wasn't up to scratch. Having tried the rest, I shall stick with the best.

service excellent

I have been buyin product from Healthspan for more years than I care to remember and have never had any problems. The product is excellent quality and the service is second to none. I love the new service for some of the product I use so I don't even have to remember to order so no problem about running out any more. I use the Nurture product as well as Q10, probiotics and the St Clements capsules. Also get the 'Brainboosters for my grandson.

Easy to buy, easy to use, best results

Having been a general Healthspan customer for as long as I can remember, I was tempted to try Nurture's serum when it was claimed to be as good as the No 7 product but much cheaper. As a result, I became hooked and now only use Nurture for all my beauty care. As I live in Spain, I have to pay the postage fee on top, but it is still worth every penny. Also, I no longer have to stock up on No 7 products at the airport every time I travel back to UK, which is an added bonus!

Love the products!!

I already knew the Healthspan products and thought I would give the Nurture range a try... I don´t use any other creams anymore! The price is fantastic and even though I live in Spain and have to pay a 2GBP delivery charge it´s worth it, I just buy a few products at a time and never had any problems with the delivery. I started with the day and night cream, and now I use the serum and eye contour serum as well... you won´t see any other brand on my bathroom cabinet!

premium products

As a scientist I always look for clinically proven active ingredients, and Nurture products often contain the same ingredients found in high-end beauty creams. The Intensive night repair cream is excellent - it contains more active retinol than many of the dearer brands, and the Collagen Boosting serum contains oligopeptides - as do other more famous (and more expensive) serums. Top quality products at a great price!
