We used Ocean, the Bradley Stoke branch to sell an ex rental property. The house was in need of some refurbishment. The sales managers analysis of what needed to be done was in line with what we were thinking and the valuation was on the money. We felt he was trustworthy and no nonsense.
We duly followed his advise.
A plus is that the fees are very competitive.
It sold very quickly after a flurry of interest.
The sale went through fairly quickly.
Throughout the whole process we were given professional service by the whole team. They always kept us up to date with what was going on and acted on our behalf when we had to overcome some obstacles.
I really cannot find anything bad to say.

From the beginning of our selling journey with Ocean, Stefano & his team were professional & informative throughout.
The valuation was realistic in line with similar properties for sale in our area & we were updated regularly regarding viewings & the feedback of each.

The first time we used our local Ocean estate agent, everything went smoothly.
On this second occasion we were not particularly impressed.
Our business was handled by a variety of personnel, and phone calls/emails demonstrated that either there was no central client file being updated, or else it wasn't being read.
Consequently we were repeatedly asked for information that had previously been provided, and when this fact was pointed out, it seemed they expected us to do their work and go back through the emails and Howla system to find it, rather than look themselves.
Our sale took nearly 6 months to be completed, partly I suspect due to the prevarication of the buyer, but the Ocean conveyancing outfit (who haven't asked for feedback) were also slow and frustrating. We seemed to have a constant stream of pointless messages declaring that some minor task had been started or had been completed, but no meaningful communication about what the delay was due to, unless prompted by us.
We opted to receive the funds by cheque (and save £60), thinking we could go into the office to collect it, but apparently it had to go in the post and took well over a week to arrive after the date they said it had been posted. An inconvenience and loss (or gain) in interest earned, (deciding which way you look at it). My expectation, given the fees we paid, was recorded next day delivery.
Overall, rather disappointed and would probably go elsewhere next time.
