Great site, I do not understand why people are…
I do not understand why people are moaning, real people, I've been there twice, very quickly found girlfriend, returned in about a year and again very quickly found a girl whom I married some time after, still happily married..

I gave it a one because they didn't get any lower. All this site is about is scamming you out of your hard-earned money. Almost everyone here on this scam site are from other scam countries. do not make contact! This site needs a class action lawsuit. I was only on it for three days and was very disappointed. I ask for my money back but refused online.

There should be a uk government service that bans these sites as they are full of scammers and money grabbing scammers fake profiles when they are not in uk
Nothing to see here. The guys just weren't appealing or they don't respond.
As with most sites this has it's share of fakes and/or guys who are just not the guys I am interested in. I spent years on this site and couldn't find one guy who I even felt like I wanted to get to know. Twinks are it for me but they are very rare in deed on this site. You can date who you want but at the end of the day you should date who you find yourself attracted to. I don't think there are any decent looking guys who are in that range. After years, not even one where there is a genuine two way communication that you want to mutually get to know?
Awful experience
Awful experience. They ban you for no reason at all. The site has turned into a very low quality, untrustworthy site. The profiles seem fake. I’d advise you never to give them money. I’m sure there is no future for this trash site.
I paid for incognito
I paid for incognito, and yet they continue to show my picture. I tried to contact the people I like, they keep asking to pay for "superlike". It is impossible to contact them either by email or by phone. I strong suggest that you check out somewhere else. I am about to cancel my subscription.
I moved to Bumble, the app that works!
8 years ago I met a woman on OKC, and with whom I've been in the relationship for long 6 years. Recently the site became a trash full of fake and bot profiles. It also has a surprising amount of those who are on government programs or looking for support. Despite the 1-star review, I am grateful to OKC for banning me (I was not a paid member and didn't fit their exclusively progressive domain), as I moved to Bumble, and happy to report as I am in the relationship with a very nice person.

OKCupid now OK Stupid is a Horrible website you get banned for no reason at all and when you ask them the reason they don’t tell you fake website full of scammers and fake profiles just like okc FAKE
Support doesn't exist
Support doesn't exist. After creating an account and receiving a confirmation email couldn't log in because “my contra number is banned “How and why while I just create the account and never heard of or used this app previously? Tried to contact support for 2 days but response. It's a kind of spam and careless app.
More fake profiles then real people.
More fake profiles then real people.

literal trash people i like don't even show up in the liked section and they told me it was because they must have changed their preferences after I liked them, yeah in the same instant? imagine
Disgusting customer service!
Disgusting customer service!! I have tried to join this app and I couldn’t sign in. They told me I am band and my email is not exist and my phone number. I haven’t used this dating site? I haven’t done anything to banned me!! Never again! I can see why you have bad reviews.
worthless
tricks you into buying premium by letting bots from mars like your profile so you think you have prospects. you buy it and theyre all from kenya/indonesia/africa.
went a week and the only people i was able to match with were from the opposite hemisphere. no option to filter to my city, much less my state. worthless unless you have a bottomless bank account to go across the world to date a tranny.

I joined ok Cupid a few weeks ago and it’s just like every other dating site out there it’s a total scam.they say their a 100% free dating site what a lie you can’t see or read anything unless you subscribe to this fake site on any given dating site the percentage of real women is only 2% the rest either work for the site or are fake profiles and scammers.
website is an absolute scam
this website/app has a big issue with "dead" profiles. basically a lot of match group apps have this thing they do where they take dormant profiles and will match with folk on their behalf to try getting those users back on the app.
also, depending on where you live, there might not be a lot of folk on the app (maybe about 100-200) but it keeps looping the deck, most of these are the dormant/dead profiles mentioned above.

Signed up just today but cannot for the life of me log in. Stuck in a loop. They won't send me any more codes and now they have my info, phone number and photo which I cannot remove and cannot cancel my profile as it won't let me log in. I really wish I hadn't bothered and hope that my details have not been sold onto any spam companies.
An example of one of their scams
Example of one of their scams:
If you're paying $45 for a month, you can see everyone that Likes you. If 40 people liked you and you weren't interested, you can say "Not interested" and they get deleted as listed Likes.
If you STOP paying your subscription, you can no longer see your Likes listed. So, to take advantage of you not being able to see who likes you, they take those 40 people and put them back in your Likes list and then to add insult to injury they start putting non-USA Likes in the list.
Do you want to see who those 40+ Likes are from, that just popped up in your Likes folder? You can, if you AGAIN pay them $45 a month or $135 for 6 months. And once you do, you find out that they're the 40 people you had already deleted from the list.
They used to provide a useful and informative service, they're now just gaming their clients to drain them of their cash.
DO NOT USE OKCUPID!
DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT USE OKCUPID! Its is 100% a scam only dating app. Nothing is real, all filled with foreigners. There will be a lawsuit coming to their company unless people are refunded. DO NOT USE!
Disappointing-too many unwanted likes, not enough locals
OK Cupid. A dating app/site run by the the Match Group who also run Match.com, Plenty of Fish, Tinder, Our Time amongst other brand dating names.
Unfortunately, disappointing. Been on and off it in last 9 months and in the past month took up their half price one month premium membership.
I live in Central Scotland but just not enough users, to be honest Tinder has far more choice and wider used nowadays which is why it is the most popular.
As for likes received, all came from African countries, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and then the Philippines. My settings are for within 50 miles of where I live and though nothing against those of African/SE Asian ethnicity, they are not my type and so are not in my chosen preferences. However, all the likes are pretty much from there.
I asked OK Cupid Customer Services how can I choose to only receive interest from those within my distance and their response was "I'm sorry to hear you have received likes outside your distance range.
What you experienced is considered expected behavior. The preferences dictate who YOU see in your stacks and recommendations. However, the likes are decided by who likes you even if they are not in your preferences or deal breakers.
Please be aware that Dealbreakers will allow you to change your view but people from around the world can still like your profile if you are visible to them based on their deal breakers. As a result, people from other parts of the world can and may like your profile."
So a disappointing experience, not enough users even within 50 miles or a higher populated area and the stack often runs out quick and I cannot even control who sees my profile.
I do really like the questions aspect of the app and being able to really start to portray a view of one's self via this but without the controls that those looking want and a bigger customer base, I am afraid, the subscription is cancelled and I cannot rate it more than 2/5.
Monthly regular cost without a bundled month package is £36.99 per month which for what the app gives is in my opinion way too expensive. If there was better verification, far more users and more location controls dictated by your own settings and far more likely to meet someone within's one locality, then the price might be considered to be fairer.
Needs much more rigour and users Match Group if you are listening.
It used to be good site
It used to be good site, before you could actually meet peole. Now that MATCH has taken over it absolutely rubbish. It's all about money and the site deliberately hides profits from people looking for love. Such a shame its gone to the dogs.
