Olivia made us all feel very calm and looked after, the whole experience was fun, and surprisingly easy and painless! We went as a group of friends for our first tattoos together, the end results are beautiful, and we are all super happy 😊

This is the second time I’ve been to Olivia for a tattoo and the experience was just as amazing as the first time; the custom design she drew me was gorgeous and exactly what I’d hoped for, and she took the time and care to get the placement just right. She creates such a comforting and relaxed atmosphere whilst tattooing, and the 4 hours passed so quickly! She’s such a lovely person who you can absolutely trust to get your tattoo done perfectly. It was honestly the most I’ve laughed during a tattoo and I can’t wait to come back again for my next!

Couldn’t recommend enough! This was my first tattoo and Olivia couldn’t have been more accommodating and reassuring! I sent across some ideas for the tattoo and Olivia captured the exact design I wanted and created the most beautiful spinal tattoo for me! The whole tattoo experience was so positive and the aesthetic of the new studio is so calming and tranquil, nothing like I’ve seen before!

I've been following Olivia for years - after some bad health I decided I wanted to take "ownership" of my body and decided I'd like some finger tattoos and whilst I'm one hand down with the other to go, I couldn't be more thrilled with what I have. I look at them every day and receive so many compliments. How she tattoos such detail I cant even imagine. I follow many artists and Olivia is such a talent, I recommend her to all my friends. I wanted to share my experience with Olivia-Fayne after encountering significant issues following my tattoo appointment.

I had been eager to get a tattoo from Olivia for about five years and reached out to discuss covering an old tattoo which we previously spoke about in 2020 and Olivia advised me to get it lazered before she could tattoo over.
I sent Olivia a picture in Aug 2024 of my tattoo and she said she’d be able to cover it. After confirming I could proceed with the cover-up, we had multiple conversations about my budget, which she repeatedly affirmed..

I even explained if my budget was way off I could push this back for the future but she continued to confirm and stick to my budget.

However, after paying a £260 deposit, communication dropped off. I bought a custom design and wanted my wedding flowers designed into it but Olivia still hadn’t asked me for this even though it was on my design brief. I reached out to Olivia the evening before my appointment because on her website it says she will contact you a few days before to discuss designs but it can be up to 3 hours before. I thought surely Olivia would need to know what my wedding flowers are.
I then had to ask for the address 4 times and On the day of my appointment, I was met with delays as Olivia was setting up her equipment, which took considerable time. (Olivia claims since this only took 5-8 minutes but I had sent my husband a few messages on WhatsApp saying we hadn’t started yet because Olivia was putting her lamp together which took in total 35 minutes)
The design was only shown to me shortly before my session began. I paid £260 for a design fee and a session deposit but the design was done 25 minutes before my appointment and then the 1st 35minutes + of my appointment was Olivia putting a lamp together.

When it came time to settle the payment, Olivia quoted a total of £720, contrary to our previous discussions where she confirmed a total of £400. Despite showing her our earlier messages and her response was “I don’t know why I would say that” she insisted on charging more due to a larger design, which had never been discussed beforehand.

I’ve since communicated my concerns, but Olivia has maintained her stance and has even threatened legal action.

“I hope you understand, no one’s paying for my work but my customer. I don’t believe anyone should ever work for free, especially when it’s a combination of metal and physical work. If you’d have mentioned budget on the day, we could have stuck with the size I printed off which was from your initial request of the size you asked for x”

I am honestly so taken back by Olivia and it’s ruined my whole experience.

“As I said - I understand we chatted previously, but it wasn’t on emails. It wasn’t on your form which I where i design the piece from. Expecting me to remember a conversation we had when I tattoo every single day is a bit unrealistic I think if was that much of an issue, you should have brought it up when we went over the time you could afford. Or you would have surely asked when we had to go bigger than the size we discussed, if it was going to cost more as obviously, more design means more time.”

Olivia is claiming because I didn’t write it on the form which was the 1st initial enquiry before we spoke about cost and budget it’s not relevant even though we had a conversation in September 2024 where she confirmed a price and told me the deposit details and said she can do the piece and it will be 3/6 hours. She’s also saying because we were messaging on WhatsApp she forgot but she messaged me 1st on WhatsApp and also how am I meant to know she’s forgotten our conversation? She booked me in off the back off our conversations.

I went into the appointment knowing I had £400 left to pay and nothing else was mentioned until afterwards?
Why not say because I need to make it bigger it will be an extra £320.
Olivia hasn’t worked for free. I have paid £660 which was agreed for 4.5 hours.

“Keep telling yourself that. You didn’t communicate on the day. Whatsoever. Expecting me to remember a conversation when I speak to hundreds of people a week 🙈 and then CONVENIENTLY not mentioning something that was vital on the day? How how how how convinient. Some people.”

I don’t understand why I would need to triple check with Olivia after we spoken about my budget so many times and agreed a price?

I believe it’s essential for potential clients to be aware of this chaotic business practice. While Olivia is undeniably talented, her handling of the business side has left me extremely disappointed.

It’s distasteful, dishonest and just not nice. Please consider this before booking.

From the booking process to the actual appointment, Olivia was a true professional. We provided Olivia some ideas and she truly exceeded all our expectations. It was my daughter’s first tattoo in tribute to her late Grandma and Olivia put her at ease right away.

The studio was beautiful and she talked to my daughter the whole way through making sure she was ok.

Olivia has a wicked talent and her work is absolutely amazing.

My daughter doesn’t have just a tattoo, it is a timeless piece of art, with so much meaning.

I would 100% recommend Olivia to anyone, we will definitely be returning to her studio in Leeds ..

I was a little bit nervous beforehand but Olivia immediately put me at ease. Even thought it was a 5.5 hour sitting, discomfort was pretty minimal and the results are outstandingly beautiful. Highly recommended!

I had my first tattoo with Olivia this week, and naturally I was a little nervous. I can honestly say that my tattoo is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!

Olivia is an insanely talented artist, the design she created for me was absolute perfection. Aside from that, Olivia herself is so lovely! Getting a tattoo from Liv was a pleasure - she is personable, friendly, warm and so easy to chat too. It didn't feel at all like we'd just met and the time flew by (the beautifully serene studio also helped this)

I genuinly can't recommend Olivia enough and I'm already planning to book my next tattoo with her!
