Nice watch (planet ocean) but Omega seems to have great difficulty in supplying watches with correctly aligned bezels.

Omega used to be a premium brand. No more!

Omega used to be a premium brand. No more. Omega Seamaster. Supposedly self-winding. 3 years later it no longer was. Conveniently out of warranty. Watch was returned to their service centre by a local agent. 6 weeks to even quote and then an outrageous amount (about 30% of initial cost,) which was refused! The arrogance matches the quality of the product. Don't even consider one.

Worst purchase ever

Bought my wife an Omega as an anniversary present. It has stopped twice in six months and they will not replace it. It's the worst (and most expensive) watch she has ever owned. Am taking legal advice. Just awful.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Paid £7500 to buy Omega Speedmaster HB-SIA automatic watch and added to my collection of luxury watches which I occasionally wear. Despite limited use the watch stopped working after three years. Took it to Goldsmiths where I bought it from and was told perhaps I need to wear the watch more often. Despite that, the watch would stop even when fully winded. Sent it to Omega and now being told that I would need to pay £750 to service the watch and further £550 towards the protective coating on the glass. What a shame my £200 worth watches have been working for years and a watch carrying name "Omega" stopped working after three years and yet Omega demanding money to get this repaired. I am very disappointed and would not recommend investing in Omega if you have other options.

Please people stop buying Omega…

Please people stop buying Omega watches! This company and their products are awful and in no way luxury.

I purchased a gen 3 X-33 Skywalker 3 years ago and it has been by far the worst watch at any price I have ever owned. The first unit failed 5 times in 18 mths (battery, movement, back light twice) and when it was finally returned to me with the second hand jammed under the minute hand I demanded a refund. The dealer gave me a brand new watch which was amazingly even lower quality than the first, this time not only did the hands not align with the indices, but the ceramic bezel was not glued on straight so it is always out of alignment with the inner markers - very noticeable at night as the 12 o'clock lume dot is never straight and in line with the 12 o'clock marker. 7 mths later and this new watch failed - returned to Omega for a month - who as usual did nothing - and returned to me in the same faulty state. It is now once again back with Omega.

These watches are just cheap quality Swatch's, packaged in a massive box and given a £4000 price tag. Terrible.

I purchase an omega speedmaster…

I purchase an omega speedmaster 329.30.44.51.01.002 less than a year old. The sapphire glass cracked when I drop it on granite counter. Send in for service to replace the watch. They told me that I have to pay for the glass and the replacement is under warranty over the phone, but it was different when they received the watch. They told me that the case and band were dented and scratched. Scratched from daily use which I believe is correct but dented is impossible. They also stated the case was corroded which I find it hard to believe after less than one year. I feel that they are trying to find something wrong to void the warranty. I have bought two omega watches which will never buy omega again. Now, I realized why Rolex is the better brand. I am waiting for manager reply and will update after

My wife's Omega watch was sent off for…

My wife's Omega watch was sent off for repair on 9th April this year. It was bought on 2nd May 2017 so it was within the warranty period. We returned it to the Ernest Jones branch where it had been purchased and they sent it off to Omega.
Today she went to collect it, having got a message it was ready.
To her dismay, the watch was still set at the same time as when she left it with them, turning the crown would still not move the hands and there was still rust on the watchface.
Not only that, but it came back without the plastic warranty card.
No explanation was given.
Beware buying an Omega as the company did not honour their warranty.

My wife has an expensive Omega watch

My wife has an expensive Omega watch, she recently had the battery replaced for £140 by Omega, now it doesn't work. It worked perfectly well before she had the battery changed. She sent it back to Omega and there response was they will have to give it a service for £360 before they can fix it. She has a regular service every 2 years. It isn't due for one. But that is beside the point as far as I am concerned Omega have broken her watch because there was nothing wrong with it when we sent it to them. Also you would have thought that Omega would have checked everything was OK when they changed the battery. I did trust in Omega, but having read the very large number of negative posts on Trustpilot, I am not so sure anymore. I think my wife has been robbed, for the amount of money this watch cost you would expect it to work. I find it crazy that Omega are selling watches that don't last more than 2 years without a service. If this is the case then there should be something in there literature explaining that. I don't think they would sell many if people were aware of that. I am very disappointed in Omega and I will not be recommending them to anybody else.

Omega Speedmaster Professional intermittenly stops working

My Omega Speedmaster Professional that is one week shy of three years old has stopped working on numerous occasions, blindsiding me with inaccurate time. I am an Airline pilot and this is unacceptable. I mistakenly thought the warranty was three years. Not so, as customer service explained. It will be a minimum of $750 to have it serviced with Omega. That is unacceptable. I have two Rolex watches and have never experienced poor warranty coverage and reliability problems. I have an International Warranty card that I thought meant the warranty was three years. I am deeply disappointed in the warranty coverage provided by Swatch Corporation.

Had my Seamaster serviced at an…

Had my Seamaster serviced at an authorized Omega dealer. When it finally arrived back they had left the helium release valve open. Unfortunately I didn't check this before I jumped into the pacific... I notified Omega of the issue at hand and after a full 3 months since my initial contact they gave me the "generous" offer of a 20% discount for a very pricy repair. Poor customer service in my view, especially given that they try to position Omega as a luxury brand. It didn't help that I was bombarded with 10+ automated e-mails during the process either.

Worth the wait

Contrary to some omega customer service reviews, the wait was worth it. The watch was returned in pristine condition, with many parts replaced and all free under the warranty from it's previous service and with another 24 month warranty.

Think twice before buying an Omega...

My expensive watch which is meant to be automatic has just completely stopped working. I have taken it to my local retailer and not only do I have to pay £30 to return it, apparently it will take 6-8 weeks to resolve the issue. What terrible customer service. Do think carefully before parting with your money to buy an unreliable product from a company with poor customer service.

Unbelievable lack of customer service …

Unbelievable lack of customer service access. Zero live people available to take a customers call. No call backs from voice mail.
I had taken a smp300 to a local AD They are the local authorized dealer. I paid $550 for a routine service. Watch came back:
1: ran way fast out of spec +30 seconds/day
2: was unable to turn bezel
3. Huge scratches/deep gouges on caseback where the tool slipped

returned to have these issues fixed
now watch seizes randomly
case back was simply sanded down to remove the scratches
this place ruined my watch.

I was unable to get any call back from Omega for any help.

Last omega I will ever buy.

Terrible service prices

I was given a Lovely watch, bought for me by my grandmother, who has now sadly now passed way. The battery ran down, so took it for a new battery, (as I had done many times before) I was told that new rules meant it now had to be sent away, weeks later I got a quote of £350 from Omega, who claimed it needed work done on it.
Nice business for the wealthy, if your not in that bracket stay well clear of Omega
