Two days ago I rang One Call Insurance to cancel my policies as I had sold my van. I had a comprehensive motor policy and breakdown insurance, so two policies.
There was 5 months left on the policies. I was told I would receive an £89 refund.
Today they rang me to say that in fact I would not be getting any refund due to me having an "enhanced" breakdown policy. I made no claims on either policies.
Where is the logic or reasoning to explain that?
I asked for a written explanation but doubt that I will get one.

I find the whole online chat very frustrating as the replies come through intermittently so I found myself responding before I had the facts

The lady called Sienna Higgs SH1 was the most helpful person i have ever delt with. She was so efficient clear instructions and i understood her from the word go. No flannel, I cancelled my other insurance which I had taken out misleadingly I may add because i had been misled by someone who bamboozled me from another company.
I give this girl/lady 10 out of 10.

Received my Insurance Renewal and it was more than I thought it would be so had a chat with Agent DB7 online and after asking a few questions and answering DB7's questions was offered a reduction in my premium which I was happy with and have accepted. Happy to stay with One Call Insurance and have been with then for at least 10 years and always helpful.

We dealt with Megan Grieg (MG6) whom we found to be polite, professional and helpful. We had a few issues with our previous insurer and Megan informed us how to overcome these issues and get the documentation required from them (NCD Certificate) With her help we now have all of our insurances Car, Home and Motorhome under the one broker.
