I just love Commune
I just love Commune! There is a wide range of truly excellent courses with impressive, well-known, and renowned instructors. There are so many interesting topics and courses that there's always something new I want to learn about. I especially enjoy the Summits - they introduce topics I didn't even know I wanted to learn more about, but they hit the mark surprisingly well, every time. They are also very friendly and helpful if I've contacted them with questions. I can only give Commune my warmest recommendations and will be joining them for life.
I can’t say enough about the excellent…
I can’t say enough about the excellent content I have found in this app. Quality topic for today’s health issues from respected Dr and thought leaders. The yoga and meditation programs are worth the cost alone, but the summits and masterclasses take the value over the top! I love the ability to stream and cast on to my TV for easy viewing as well, highly recommend this app!
Ultimate wellness backed by the best in each industry.
Over the last few years I have been on a journey of wellness, health and fitness , meditation yoga and pursuit of happiness.
I was demoted to find one site like Commune encompassing all of the above and much more and to be supported by leading professionals.
It’s price point is minuscule compared to the benefits one receives.
Love the variety of content for health
Love the variety of content for health, I have learned so much!
Very misleading marketing
Very misleading marketing. The "life-time" membership is worthless. It does not provide any valuable courses with certification. You can find all the video content they offer on-line for free. I find the site irrelevant and dated.
Most painful unsubscribe
Very easy to subscribe, super difficult to unsubscribe. In order to cancel your subscription you have to send an email which they don't respond to for days. I'm still trying to cancel...there is simply no excuse for the tricks and opaque behaviors to try to keep customers hooked

Poor customer service
I signed up to a monthly subscription in February. You can only cancel by email and my request to cancel in April was not acted on and they've continued to charge me each month. Very poor customer service.

Unprofessional, not respecting their 7-day refund policy!
I purchased a course on June 29th, understood that it wasn’t for me and requested money back on July 4th (within their 7 day money back guarantee) and got an automated email stating:
“We have received your email request! We will return your email as soon as possible.
If you're inquiring about cancelling a Commune Membership subscription, trial, or utilizing our 7-day refund policy on a purchase, please be assured we will honor the date of your email and refund any charges made before we are able to reply.”
Then a few days later, on July 9th I get the following shocking email:
“Hi Lena,
I hope your day is going well. I'm Alysa and I'm part of Commune's support team.
Our refund window for the course purchase is only 7 days from the date of purchase. I'm attaching a screenshot of the policy for your reference.
Since you purchased the membership on June 29th, I'm afraid that we can no longer offer you a refund as the refund window ended on July 6th.”
How is that a customer’s problem that they answer with a five days delay?? And not only that! They themselves state in their autoreply to be assured they WILL HONOR THE DATE OF MY EMAIL???
The courses offered are terrible
The courses offered are terrible. I signed up for a Gabor Mate course but had problems getting into it. I couldn’t come back to the program for nearly a month and was then charged for an annual subscription- which I thought was Canadian but it was in US funds. No where did I read this was a US company and would charge me in US when they are advertising with Canadian drs. Do not get trapped into their subscriptions. They will also put you on an automatic annual renewal program that you have to opt out of.
Do not use this company
Everything below has been settled with One commune which I am grateful for but I still think it's really bad customer service to be so non responsive and getting everything wrong.
Eleven days ago I bought a course that was 50% off, from 99,99 dollar to 49,99. I incorrectly made a mark on another course because I thougt it was a free bonus course. The same day I noticed that the drawing from my account was 101,78 dollars AND 25,44 dollars which emtied my whole account leaving a few swedish kronor. The right amount would have been a total of 94,80 dollars. The same day I sent three emails about this and the respond is that they have received many emails and are not able to respond at the moment. So, none of the amounts ads up right and I responded within seven days to cancel one of the purchase and still no response and no money back.
I very much enjoy receiving content via…
I very much enjoy receiving content via email and also listening to their podcast episodes. Content are on a wide range of topics and very relevant to life challenges. The presenters are experts and the information is shared in an easy way to follow, learn and retain. I often send links to their contents to my friends and family.
Bad customer service! Sketchy! Avoid!
Horrible customer service! I see I’m not the only reviewer saying the same thing!
I tried months trying to sort out a request but I keep getting ghosted. The original customer service rep disappeared on me and I started another discussion with the rep who managed my cancellation request. She initially said she’d look into my issue and she too disappeared into the ether. I’ve seen it all in customer support, but this has to take the top spot for the worst customer service. They outsource to an offshore team in the Philippines- all who operate with no accountability or concern for customers.
With so many similar platforms out there with similar content that Commune offers but inexpensive or easily found for free online and on YouTube, it’s just not worth the annual investment they are asking for. The worst part is you think you’re supporting a spiritually minded community focused company, but Commune is just another badly run business trying to make money and cutting corners. Once customer service goes, you know they won’t be around for long.
Buyer beware!
Buyer beware!! I have been thoroughly disappointed with the Commune app. When you see all of the flashy and heartfelt advertisements you truly feel like this app / program is different. It’s not. The advertisements claim that with one membership you have access to everything. This is far from true.
Once you purchase the app and start browsing through it, you realize that all of the in-depth courses are available at an additional fee. We aren’t talking another $10-$15, we are talking hundreds. Quite a scam if you ask me. They essentially get you super excited about learning about a specific health-related subject and then feed you just enough content with your lifetime membership that you start to really understand a topic and then you learn that you have to pay for the extended / advanced programs if you really want to learn the important and sought-after information.
Very disappointed.
If I had known about this prior to purchasing I would have re-considered.
Just awful customer support
Just awful customer support! It takes them days and days to write back. I have been in an ongoing email chain with customer support which refuses to refund me a faulty charge for a lifetime membership (over 300$) I never signed up for! Steer clear if you don‘t want surprise charges! Now I have to call my credit card company. So much for bringing “wellness” to the world….They’ve done nothing but raise my blood pressure and give me headaches. Buyer beware!
Love my subscription which was gifted…
One Commune. I Love my subscription which was gifted to me. I use the podcasts while I walk and love teh variety of topics and guests. I watch the educational vids at home. Have also followed a couple of the Yoga courses. Great interviews and very reasonably prices
Commune is amazing!
Commune has been an outstanding resource for me! I have been a member for over 3 years and honestly it is life-changing. The courses are well made and the content is extremely valuable. I love their yoga classes & listening to their podcast while I am working or driving. I highly recommend this platform!!
Very Informative
I really enjoyed the depth of information I received from this product. I use a lot of exercise apps and the amount of Yoga, meditation, breath-work, tapping, and relaxing self-care they have is unmatched. It offers me more than what I'm looking for and in a Health and Wellness service what else would you want?
Best health of my life
I use Commune almost every day, whether for a yoga class or meditation or to learn something new about how my body works and how I can keep it healthy.
Money back guarantee is a lie
The Apple TV app is useless, which is what attracted me to lifetime. Unfortunately it’s unusable though. I persisted in case it was me, even though I’m pretty techie. No luck, so I requested a refund of the £300 under their guarantee, but they refused.
Such a shame as the concept is good but the reality is otherwise. Avoid and don’t waste your money until they fix it, and definitely do not believe the guarantee
Awful customer services
Awful customer services, I have been double charged for subscriptions, took months of ongoing conversations, with all parties involved, but commune doesn't want to take any responsibility for the payment system glitch, even though they agreed that I should not have been double charged they wont issue a refund! I do enjoy the content, but actual company ethics and how they treat the users makes me want to spend my money elsewhere :(
