Booked a hotel through the website, which went very smoothly, a mistake I made was corrected with no hassle and carried out immediately.

I wouldn't trust these jokers with a hotel booking again

Tried to book a last minute hotel, but an hour after booking they email me to say they couldn't complete the booking for any one of 3 reasons.
Another hour later, they email me back to say the price has increased by £4 plus change. So, I replied to say go ahead with the booking anyway.
The next day (the same day we were due to check in) I saw they hadn't bothered trying to contact me by email or phone and simply cancelled the booking without giving any reason.
Very poor customer service! When I called them to find out why it had been cancelled, I was given some ridiculous excuse about their rates, and given an insincere sounding apology.
Went with a reputable alternative for £3 more and it was booked and guaranteed within minutes and no hassle.

Good price

It was a good price fornthe hotel, though the interface can be improved.
The hotel was ok, though sometimes hot water problems and aircondition problems sometimes had place

confirmation didn't arrive by email

After waiting for a confirmation I ended up having to drill down into the site to get my paperwork, luckily I had made a note of my confirmation number or I would have had real trouble

Could you please send us a copy of your bank statement to show our charge in another currency? Your bank might have change from currency, but this is highly improbable (it would be the first time we have this issue).

Thanks for your review SM. As indicated during the booking process, there is in Dubai a compulsory “Tourist Dirham” tax levied on all hotel accommodation payable directly at the hotel. To make sure that our Customers understand that this tax has to be paid at the hotel, they have to tick in a box to confirm that they have understood the tax and they agree about it.

Nice surprise!

When starting to write this I tried to think even one thing why I wouldn't give five stars to this hotel, and couldn't find any, so I gave five and that is my opinion. Everything was fine starting from kind, fresh and professional reception personnel to delicious breakfast. Room was aery and silent even facing the main street.

Was sceptical after I booked but everything went smoothly.

After booking And already had payed I had read some bad reviews about the site and that the hotel never received any booking. After worrying and calling the hotel they confirmed everything had gone through so that was a relief. Stayed at the beautiful hotel everything went as smooth as it ever could have, no problems at all. Improvements for the site would be to show 'certifications' maybe better communication like a week out getting an email about my booking and that it's coming up for extra satisfaction would be nice. And a cleaner looking website, looks a little dodgy, bad font choice.

No complaints

Payed by credit card. Voucher was sent instantly and was accepted at the hotel. Only 4 stars for onhotels.com due to relatively limited choice of hotels in some destinations.
