All Around. Great Platform. Great Team.

Really good price for the amount of sites covered. The discounts for victims are also a plus. Customer service is fast and helpful. Better than other competitors I have tried. I will use this one for a while.

Optery is a Privacy Pinnacle

Optery is a Pinnacle in their industry. I have a paid subscription (for 3 mos. now) and am happy to say that I see less of my personal information being broadcasted and sold to nefarious data brokers. Some removals take time and some will reappear if one is not careful on sites where one must create an account.

Our privacy should not be sold and partnering with Optery and Proton has been the best move I have made in reclaiming as much of my privacy as possible. It will be a lifelong partnership as information selling is a multi-billion dollar industry and I am determined to not participate as much is humanly possible.

So I go to the bank to open a checking…

So I go to the bank to open a checking account. They go through the usual collection of info but then something happened. They could not verify my identity through a third party company they use. First time that has ever happened to me. Wonder why. I use Optery and now I no longer exist. Real good feeling that they are doing their job. They needed my birth certificate and drivers license. Now a data broker has my info again so that will have to be wiped clean again but Optery will handle it. They did before.

Optery works

Optery works. I see my information out there less and less. Sign up for a yearly membership to get the best results because it takes time for the data brokers to remove your information. Optery takes care of it so I don’t have to worry.

Excellent, Prompt Service

So far, Optery has been great. I have seen a significant decline in information about me on the web. Additionally, I had a billing issue that needed to be addressed. I was fine waiting a couple days for support to assist; however, Dakota immediately got back to me via email and addressed my issue. Thank you for the Excellent service!!

Optery works really well

Optery worked great for me. They were up front in their service and made me aware that my service would not be able to remove my data from all sites, but they provided instructions for me to use to remove my data. The report that shows my exposed data is very nice and helpful. Their capability to remove my data was great. For those few sites that they can't automatically remove data, they gave me instructions.

I’m very happy with Optery

Great service

Great service. I had most of my public info. Scrubbed from the internet. I feel so much less exposed and vulnerable. I love that they send reports of the items they remove.

Perhaps save your money and go with a different service for now

I feel they're standoffish when you ask for custom removals or for details of removals. I suspect they outsource their removals to the Philippians, potentially providing PII to contractors overseas. When I've asked about the speed of service, they're replied back with legalese language from their policies. They charge a premium price, but I feel their competitors can do just as good a job for half the cost. Make sure you do your own spot checks on their work, as I've repeatedly found my information online when it was reportedly removed.

I'm also VERY concerned about the tracking on their site. They use Facebook Connect, Hotjar, Reddit, DoubleClick, and others to track users on a site that sells a service aimed at people who want privacy.

Overall, I suspect they're prioritizing growth over providing a quality service. Perhaps save your money and go with a different service for now.

All data broker removals and opt out operations are processed under Optery, Inc., a C Corporation incorporated in the U.S. state of Delaware with worldwide headquarters in California. Our customer support and opt out operations personnel are located in the United States and in the Philippines. The third-party vendors and service providers we use are listed on our Privacy Policy. Dealing with data brokers is often challenging and this can lead to difficulties with certain sites sometimes which may have been what happened in your case. This service is a rip off

This service is a rip off. I’m unhappy with optery’s progress. I went into my account to cancel and the site returned a message saying my account would remain active until the renewal date in september 2024. Proceed with caution, there are pop-ups all over the site to get you to upgrade your service, which i did, yet i still find myself all over the internet and cannot cancel my subscription. Save yourself the headache and the money and find a different service you can cancel if you’re unhappy.

After reviewing your account, we see you were on a Yearly pre-paid subscription, meaning if you cancel mid-year, the plan still stays active for the duration of the year because you already pre-paid for it, but then it does not renew at the end of the year. When customers have issues with billing like this, the best thing to do is just email customer support at support@optery.com and we resolve billing issues ASAP. You also mentioned still being able to find yourself online. There are two main potential reasons for this (a) Because your plan was only active for 2 months. As stated on our Help Desk, some data brokers can take several months to comply with removal requests. (b) Because you were on the Extended plan, which is not as comprehensive as our Ultimate plan, and its possible the sites not covered by your plan are what you were seeing. If you have any further concerns, please feel free to reach out to our customer support team and we would be more than happy to help you: support@optery.com

Optery removed so much information that was out there, that I wasn't even aware of ..! Scary. Makes you realize how much privacy we DON'T have. I highly recommend.

Excellent in every way

I have just reviewed my Removals Report. I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of this service. They have removed a tremendous amount of personal information from the internet. I currently only find two websites remaining with my information, and they are in the process of being removed. I look forward to being completely invisible to the world to protect my privacy by the end of the year. The dashboard is easy to navigate and monitor the progress of the removals. I'm very grateful for the service they provide.

My privacy is their priority

My privacy is their priority. Little upsell, easy to use, help is available, no hidden fine print or gimmicks. I use the for pay higher level of service and Optery was able to remove me from sites that I'd had problems doing it myself. The results were quick, thorough, and painless. What used to take me hours every month of overwhelming work, they did in half the time & with better results. Trying to erase yourself from the www has become a near impossible challenge, Optery frees up my time & gives me peace of mind. Privacy shouldn't be a privilege. The average person can longer do this alone, Optery can help.

Very satisfied with resolution to a tiny billing issue!

Had a very minor billing issue, Optery Help Desk reached out immediately, then handled the problem for me very satisfactorily, and all this on Thanksgiving Day 2023!
Also, the amount of SPAM emails and calls has dropped dramatically, and gets better every day. I am so relieved to not have to field these calls especially, since I work on the phone and they used to interrupt my work day. This service is worth it, and they do all the hard work for you!
