Great bike from a superb local bike-shop
I selected the Orbea Alma after a thorough search that included web information, conversations with friends and, importantly, a discussion with a superb local dealer, I found this bike to be the best choice for a well-equipped, lightweight, and solid hardtail in my price range. The owner and staff at The Bike Lab in Plum, PA, were super helpful with selection, ordering, and tracking delivery. The unique design and solid construction of this bike has exceeded expectations.

GREAT XC EBIKE!
Bike arrived and was easy to do final assembly. Only difficulties were getting the info to "program" the Shimano EBike system and not providing a digital "computer" for the bike (but realize this would be an additional expense). The bike rides great. Excellent suspension and handling. Very pleased with the performance.

Outstanding Frameset Geometry and professional glossy paint-job
I really like the frame-set outstanding geometry and the professional glossy paint-job on it.
Outside on trails, with a bit of sunshine the bike looks even better than I have seen it in pictures and bike magazine reviews.
Other plus is the chunky ESIGrip on the nice carbon handlebar - exactly what I've used on other MTBs.

The ORBEA ORCA glides and climbs extremely well.
The bike is light, so it moves easily with little effort.
As for hill climbing, this bike makes it easy to climb mountain passes that previously required a lot of effort.
I chose wine red for the body color.
It's cool and stylish.
