Great to have organic, mostly plastic free veg delivered to your door. It’s like Christmas. The broccoli sprouts were tender and tasty, I am looking forward to taste the rest of my veg. I like the idea of veg and fruit mix options and also they know the veg I opted out from! Great. It’s homegrown. I am supporting healthy soil right here!

I ordered 6 papaya on 2/11/25 from…
I ordered 6 papaya on 2/11/25 from these people intending to make Thai Papaya saad from them. They arrived soft and unfresh and instead of white inside were all yellow. Totally unsuitable for making Papaya salad. They had obviously been sat in a packet for many days to make them go like that. They were delivered on 11/11/25 so frankly it's no wonder. These people quite obviously do not know how to store Papaya or any other products they might get their hands on.

Just to clarify for transparency, the papayas we sell are the standard ripe variety with orange flesh, we don’t list or advertise white fleshed green papayas anywhere, as those are a different variety used specifically for Thai papaya salad.
We’ve also checked your order and can confirm that the delivery date selected at checkout was 11/11/25, which is when your order was dispatched and delivered.
That said, we completely understand the disappointment if you were hoping to make Som Tam, and we want all our customers to be happy with their produce so we’ve issued you a full refund.

Not what I ordered
Parcel delivery arrived thank you. But last week's contents when I ordered the box were different to the box contents I believed I was getting. I was expecting aubergine to be included in the veg box. The leeks were very tired looking. I will give it one more try and then decide if I am going to continue. When I enquired week about the actual contents I got a perfunctory reply that the list was by the box details. But what you did not say was that was not what you'd be packing from the week of delivery.
This isn't good enough, it means I am paying for something I am not getting. Like a lucky dip! Did I miss something? Are there other ways to find out what we're actually getting that I overlooked?

First delivery was a treat
Our veg and fruit package arrived on time despite the short window of time we requested. I find that by having our vegetables and fruit delivered I am planning our meals around the produce received, which means that we are enjoying tasty and fresh meals without too much fuss. Amazing fresh organic aloe Vera…
Bought some fresh organic aloe Vera leaf from southern Spain to help soothe my psoriasis when cut and applied directly to the skin. These leaves are nice and fat- even got a nod of approval from my Spanish other half. 1 week later my skin has improved massively (erythrodermic psoriasis and high chance of skin failure) to panic over and I’m getting some more next week. The kombucha was amazing and the company delivered when they said they would and very nice and straightforward to order

Surprisingly Good
This was my first order and I accept that organic produce can be varied in quality, however I found the quality of my groceries was excellent.
I like how they reused bulk packaging, mine arrived in a banana box, but what I didn't understand is why packaged items such as dried fruit were also put into individul paper bags? Fragile bell peppers were loose and a couple were split. They were still fresh and got used.
I'm sure I will continue to be a regular customer from now on.

2nd missed delivery in 6 months - no communication
The 2nd time in about 6 months, they've not delivered my food, and not contacted me about delays, so I spent all day waiting for them just in case. I called their Monday-Friday till 4pm number after 2pm, and no one picked up. Emailed, and got an auto reply telling me they'd decided to go on an early weekend. The food is great, but I wouldn't count on it arriving when they say it will or when you need it. Definitely going to give other companies a go now.

A mixed offering!
On the whole very pleased with my two boxes, one salad and one vegetable. There was an issue with the green beans which really were past their best and had started to brown on the delivery day. I had to use half of them that day and the rest were composted. There were, oddly, two lettuce...one in each box! No potatoes and no courgettes despite these being in season. I would have thought potatoes would be a staple in any veg box. Despite these anomalies the rest of the produce was fine and good quality. Would I buy again? Hmmm, probably not as my local farm shop are equally as good and organic plus I get to choose what I want to buy. I gave it a go buying the boxes but that will be it for me!

It sounds like you ordered two of our set boxes which is likely why you received two lettuce. As these boxes are pre-selected contents we don't remove "duplicate" items should a customer order more than one set box as these are not customisable. We would recommend ordering produce individually if you need a more customisable selection 😊
We do list our box contents on our website and each box contents list is updated every Friday for customers to be able to see the following weeks box selection. I hope this helps.

Organic British food, what's not to love!
So pleased to have found all of my favourite fruits and veggies as organic and they arrived super fresh, expertly packed (no plastic, wow!).
Love knowing my order supports British farmers and that I'm eating more locally grown food.

This feedback request arrived the day before the order arrived ... Were you joking? I binned it as generally I don't do them unless I have a complaint.
But I have a complaint:
Hopeless packing resulted in dented tin, squashed and dented items and broken biscuits.
Who in their right mind puts a heavy tin on top of a packet of biscuits?
I thought this would be the first of many orders for me ... but now: no care = no thanks.

All our orders are packed in layers with cardboard between with the heaviest produce on the bottom and softest on the top, it seems you are one of our DPD customers and unfortunately, despite our fragile labels and address label placement, they don't always handle our boxes with the same love and care that we do here at ODC HQ which means produce does move around inside the box. We do rely on them to reach our customers outside of London so we're very sorry that on this occasion your box did not fair very well in it's journey from us to you.
Can you please email us at customercare@organicdeliverycompany.co.uk with your name and order number so that I can of course look into this and process a refund for you. We appreciate the opportunity to make things right if anything is ever wrong with your order.

I highly not recommend ordering…
I highly not recommend ordering anything, they don't know their product, they approved my order, then it turned out that this product has not been available for six months! I called customer support, the employee was rude, said that they do not hold my money and it will automatically return to my account, as a result, for more than 10 days I can not return the money for the product that they do not have, my bank confirmed that they will hold this amount.
