I bought a Terra C during lockdown when I decided to get back into cycling. Started off as a bike to ride to commute to work (lockdown = less cars!) but kind of got me a bit hooked! Ended up as a level 2 British Cycling coach, the Orro has raced Cx, been bikepacking and has just been awesome! Super comfy ride and so versatile.

Absolutely love my Orro Venturi STC…

Absolutely love my Orro Venturi STC di2.

I purchased my Venturi at possibly the worst time to buy a bike,2 months before covid lock down.Communication was good even though delivery was delayed because of lockdown.
Paint is a bit soft but other than that I’d definitely recommend the bike.
Love what the brand represents and also know there won’t be the same bike on every corner which is another reason I bought it.
It looks stunning (Red) and goes so well,di2 is a game changer

So happy with my purchase and for the money spent it’s a absolute bargain

Thank you Orro

Fast, responsive and looks awesome

Finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to a carbon frame, and after a lot of reviews, searching and waiting, went for an Orro Gold STC, the Signature edition.
So far, absolutely loving the bike. It is great value for money compared with similar specs elsewhere. I ordered the XL with mechanical Ultegra. This saves weight and cost over the Di2. With 2 bottle holders, Quickguard mudguards, Pedals and upgrade CF handlebars, the bike is weighing in at 8.8kg. I also opted for tubeless, and so far all latex is still in the tube!! I went for the Gold as I'm a big lad (193cm) who's had back issues so I didn't want a full, aggressive race bike, something a bit more relaxed. And if 50% of cycling is looking good, the Orros look good!

Done a few longer rides, and it is so smooth and easy ride. Not sure if that's the weight or the mythical rolling resistance the cycling sage talk about! But the proof is in the numbers: my average speed is about 8‐10% faster on my Strava loops ( won't embarass myself with actual numbers!), and I keep getting multiple PBs on my Strava sections. For ref, these were set on my 10.8kg Steely.

So overall would highly recommend the Orros. I also used the cycle to work scheme, which made a significant saving.

Great British bikes

I've never purchased an Orro bike from them directly, only from their re-sellers, so im only really leaving this review to talk about the bikes because thats what matters most i think.

Orro are an incredibly underrated brand. They build fantastic bikes, end of.

I will shortly be receiving my second Orro after being so impressed with the first one. What i love about their bikes most is that they are built for the UK with fantastic attention to detail. They dont scrimp on components, there is no cost cutting here on groupset parts or other finishing kit, you get the full stuff and i think thats really important to state.

They are such good value for money and you feel like you're supporting a British bike brand - not one of the bigger players in the market that charge huge markups for worse kit.

I would never buy another brand of bike now. If you're unsure about Orro i really would encourage you to give them a try and trust them with your money. You wont be disappointed.

Orro bikes, so good I bought 2!

I have now had an Orro Venturi STC for 18 months. It has been a superb purchase. The bike is very well made and extremely fast. I liked it so much that when looking for a winter bike I bought the Orro Terra C which I ride as a gravel bike in the summer and with guards and narrower tyres as a winter bike. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Venturi - superb bike

I purchased my Orro Venturi Ultegra in 2020 from my local bike shop. Since day 1 the bike has been excellent. The frame is a comfortable ride no matter the parcours. I live in North Yorkshire so I ride a huge variety of terrain. Earlier this year I rode the Venturi in Belgium and completed the Tour of Flanders sportive, full of cobbles and very wet and muddy. The Venturi was faultless and didn't miss a beat. A true super bike.

Fantastic value bike and an incredible piece of kit!

In terms of value for money - my Orro Terra C bike is right up there! Since purchasing my Orro bike I’ve shared with friends who after testing have then gone and ordered their own Orro bikes! If you are looking for high quality and value for money - look no further!

Orro Terra Via 105 review

I’ve owned a Terra Via aluminium Shimano 105 bike for about 5 years and it’s covered 8000 winter miles and never missed a beat. Well specced with 3T bars and pro logo tape and saddle too. Makes riding in winter actually fairly enjoyable! Only downside would be a lack of points for mudguards on an aluminium commuter bike but BKS raceblades are pretty good alternatives. 5/5 for the company and the bike and durability.

Venturi STC Tailor Made Di2, “Stealth”

I’ve had my Venturi STC Tailor Made Ultegra Di2 since May 2021 finished in “Stealth” and have now ridden 6,500 km on it, apart from the usual servicing, no problems at all but have changed the head bearings to stainless steel. Contact with ORRO has been good over this period. Bike is a joy to ride, wish I’d got Di2 years ago! I’m 69 years old and looking forward to many more years of riding this bike👍🏻😊

Fantastic value for money. My Venturi is well built, well finished and super aero. I’ve had bikes from all the top names and I’m glad to report that what Orro are doing is top drawer! Highly recommended ❤️

Venturi 105 Evo

I have owned this bike since April 2023 so at this point 4 months and 4000 km in i thought it was a good time for a review.
Firstly why i chose this bike, like most people i dont have unlimited money to spend especially on discretionary items like a road bike. So after many (many many) hours of research i found Orro, a british company making their own carbon frames and this bike struck the perfect balance between performance and value... its a bit of a looker as well.
At approx £2500 for a full carbon aero frame and fork, even the seat post is carbon with a complete 105 groupset and i mean complete 105!. Some companies advertise as 105 but you get a 3rd party crank, chain or cassette for instance but none of that here. This bike is outstanding value.
So onto the experience with the bike, aero bikes have a reputation for beating you up and being generally uncomfortable but this isn't my experience with the Venturi. The compliance Orro have achieved makes riding this bike extremely comfortable without sacrificing stiffness, in fact its stiffness is incredible and i have yet to find any flex when putting the power down, cornering is quick and sure footed, just on the right side of enjoyable without being too twitchy.
Overall a lovely bike and a thoroughly enjoyable ride that performs like a bike much more expensive than this. I find people comment on its looks everywhere i go as well.
My one gripe is the saddle, its supplied with a Prologo Kappa RS which is a quality saddle but doesn't have a pressure relief channel so i have replaced this since buying, a minor gripe i'm aware as saddle fit is extremely personal.
I would recommend this bike to anyone and would also recommend upgrading to the fully integrated cockpit (i didn't and wish i had, its much cheaper at point of ordering). So in summary im a very happy boy

Great bike; amazing value for money

I came across Orro while looking to replace my older carbon fibre bike. The looks of the Venturi were superb (think ‘stealth’), and at a price about £2000 less than ‘name’ brands. I bought it from Cliff Pratt Cycles, who were knowledgeable and helpful. My first ride was delayed by winter and a broken arm but, when it came it was great. I have been delighted with the bike. It is light, responsive, quick and brakes well. The ultegra is as reliable as ever. It’s yet to be tested on very long rides, but I raced it in the World age group sprint duathlon championships in Ibiza this year, where the bike acquitted itself very well.
Overall, really pleased to be riding a quality British bike.

Orro Gold STC Di2 review

I’m an older rider getting back into the sport I love. I bought an Otto Gold stc Di2 and it’s wonderful! It’s comfortable, fast and responsive. It’s a lovely deep red and genuinely turns heads. Very highly recommended 😁

Venturi a great bike.

I have lost 3 inches in height over the last few years, so my medium-sized bike had become slightly to big for me.
I started looking at bikes but didn't know really what I wanted. I then saw a picture of the Orro Venturi Di2.
It screamed out at me, not the common black on black but blue and silver. When I used to race, bikes were about bling, and the Venturi looked the part.
I was a bit apprehensive about electric gears and disc brakes, but with Utube and a great bike shop (73degrees Keynesham) all my fears disappeared. Areo was another matter of concern, as I often ride over a hundred miles and at 71, I didn't know how the back would take to it. The Venturi is very comfortable and feels like it wants to go faster. Nothing but praise for Orro.
The only little criticisms I would like to see would be chainstay protection to prevent damage from chain bounce and maybe a little pot of touch up paint.

I've been riding my Orro Gold STC since Feb 21. I've had the pleasure of riding all over the country on it and it's been fantastic. Seeing another Orro on the road was rare, but over the past 12 months I am seeing them regularly - it's great that these awesome bikes are becoming more popular. If I was going to upgrade it'd be to the 2024 Gold STC, it looks brilliant!

Good looking bike & great value

Went into my LBS to buy some gels and came out with a gorgeous white Orro Gold 105 Hydro: great value, great looking and great ride, perfect for Sportivs and longer days in the saddle. Even got to visit the company's new HQ to meet their highly enthusiastic team and see where the magic happens.

12 speed Ultegra Venturi - great bike but unreliable.

I’ve managed to ride the 12 speed ultegra di2 Orro Venturi for around 400km now and it has been a mixed bag.

First off, the bike is a dream to ride, when it is working…
It’s light, nimble and more comfortable than my previous Cannondale synapse which is saying something!
It’s definitely fast too and you can feel the speed!

However, as I hinted to before I have had a horrific experience with the bike up to now in terms of reliability.
First delivery of the bike I managed less than 100km, the chain dropped off the little ring on the inside just pedalling along for no reason and ground up the bottom bracket cracking the carbon significantly.
I managed to send it back to the original shop I bought it from however stock issues meant a significant delay on getting me back on the bike. A new warranty frame was sent out eventually and the bike built up by the shop. However the bike arrived damaged with the seatstays both cracked. Needless to say it was sent back and I had to wait for another warranty frame for the bike to be built up again. After waiting longer again (roughly 2 months in total) I got the bike back, warranty frame and old components. Between purchasing in March and finally getting a bike back in June I was desperate to start cycling again.

I had a chain catcher put on by LBS to try and prevent this issue again however within a couple of weeks I noted the brakes becoming very spongy and screeching. Mineral oil was leaking onto the callipers. Back to the LBS to check it - olives and barbs weren’t seated correctly. So new hoses, bled front and back, new pads and discs cleaned.

Thought that was the end of it however after about 100k or so after this, the chain dropped on the inside again, and just like last time, despite having a chain catcher, ground the carbon out around the bottom bracket and sheared the metal on the inner little ring leaving a sharp shard.

This cannot be just bad luck to have all of this happen. The bike rides like a dream when it’s working however in the space of 5 months I’ve barely had a working bike… and I’m now waiting to send it back again and I can’t see the bike in stock either.

For spending over £3000 on a bike I would expect better reliability than this. I just want a working bike at this point, one that I’m not worried if it’s going to fail on me on a ride and one that I know is safe.
