In your case, the model you ordered was labeled with an estimated shipping time of 36/42 days.
We order all out of stock items to the official suppliers, that's why, after receiving your order we confirmed the waiting time by email.

Incredible customer service

My order was slightly delayed because the sunglasses I ordered were still in production, but the Customer Service team were super accomodating and kept me updated every step of the way. I really appreciated how prompt they were in replying and how helpful they were in answering my questions.

Deceitful stock information

I placed an order for a pair of glasses that were listed as available on their website. Their website accepted the payment. Less than 24 hours later, they sent me an email to say the glasses would be in stock in 20-25 business days only and would ship then. Since then, it has now been 25 business days and they have not shipped. I have not heard back from them. Buyers beware...

Extremely pleased with my Lanvin…

Extremely pleased with my Lanvin sunglasses. Arrived sooner than expected... The normal price was $300 and Otticanet was asking $96. So, a great bargain and can highly recommend this seller. Will certainly use them again!

Be aware buyer

Purchased a pair of eyeglass Cartier, received an email confirm in next day said that item will be in stock in 35-40 days.I wait till days 42 but did not receive any shipment, so i email them to check my order status and they said wait for another 2more months.That’s not the way i like to do business,of course I request to refund my money immediately.

Not a good company

So I wrote a bad review for otticanet, I ordered sunglasses for a friend’s birthday and after 6 weeks I had still not heard anything about when they would be delivered , my friends birthday was only a few days away, I tried several times to contact this company to find out how much longer they would be, in the beginning they did tell me they would take 5/6 weeks to be delivered to me, and now the 6 weeks where up I wanted to know what was going on, no one responded to my emails on customer service, eventually after several attempts I did get a reply, they still did not know how long it would be before they where delivered, they wanted me to choose a different pair from the ones I originally ordered, I did not want different ones,I wanted the ones I originally bought and paid for, the only good thing about the company was the refund was quick, after the refund I went online to another company, ordered same item, it was a few pounds cheaper and it was delivered the next day, otticanet has had my review took down because I mentioned the other company and said that the other company was better, I still want to warn others to shop around, there’s better and quicker online retailers

Appalling customer service. Company ignores consumer rights.

BUYERS BEWARE - I purchased Christian Dior sunglasses for close to AUD $700 from Otticanet. After only a few wears and despite taking great care with the sunglasses, the gold hardware fell out of one of the arms. I contacted Otticanet to request a repair or replacement. The company is refusing to replace the sunglasses and is instead insisting I pay AUD$28 for them to ship a replacement pair of arms to me and for me to then contact my local Optician and arrange the repair myself. Suggesting I pay for shipping as well as any repair costs myself for faulty goods is against my rights as an Australian Consumer. I have quoted my rights as per the ACCC website on multiple occasions and the company has continued to ignore this. It has now been nearly a month with no resolution and no responsibility taken by Otticanet.

Unreliable After-Sales Service

Very disappointed with the after-sales service. Despite confirmed defects on the product in my home country (Switzerland), they refuse to address the issue. This shows a lack of professionalism and consideration for customers. I strongly advise against using their service if you are looking for proper support or follow-up in case of problems.

​Our optician checked your pictures and your glasses are not defective.

In fact all eyeglasses come with plastic demo lenses. These lenses should always be replaced with plano lenses because demo lenses are not suitable for wearing and they can actually damage your eyes.

In this kind of glasses (glasant), screws are not tight, as you have to replace the demo lenses with prescription lenses.

This is why the arm fell down, you ​h​ad just to fasten the screws in order to fix your glasses.

​We suggested you to fasten the screws or to return your glasses, if you preferred.

I purchased Persol Steve McQueen…

Appalling 'service' - do not buy from these scammers.
I purchased Persol Steve McQueen Limited editions from Otticanet.com
I was sent faulty glasses whereby the left arm continues to pop off every time I wear them, to the point I can longer wear them at all.
I wrote to Otticanet.com and explained the issue and sent them several photos.
Their solution was to offer to charge me for a replacement arm that I would have to fit myself.

The glasses sent to me were certainly not in perfectly good condition.
The glasses were also received in mid June not May.
I contacted you 1st Novemeber to advise the folding arm would pop off and as I explained, this got progressively worse to the point the glasses can no longer be worn.
The period of time was not 6 months, rather 4 1/2 months and well within a time frame a reasonable person would expect their new glasses to be free from the arms falling off.
You offered to charge me more money to send a replacement arm and then never sent the replacement arm despite having my address on file.

I suspect this company stock and supply factory seconds and not genuine glasses.

Avoid these scammers who now prove themselves to be liars as well.

After we saw the pictures, we offered to send a set of new arms for free under warranty. What we asked you was the shipping cost only.
Please note that shipping costs are not covered by warranty.

Please consider that you used your glasses for 6 months and we offered you new arms for free.

I bought an item

I bought an item, I was asked to review their service afterward.
I reviewed it to 1 star, the reason for this being I would've had to go out of my way to see I would be charged import taxes and fees and it wasn't openly available without me actually actively checking to see if this was the case they appealed it with feedaty and my review was taken down.
All in all I was expecting to save almost $300 on an item but was instead forced to pay $250 in taxes and import fees.
Had I been informed of this from the get go, maybe when I was adding the item to the cart or maybe when I was checking out I ultimately would not have made the purchase through otticanet and purchased locally.
They instantly emailed me after my 2 star review (that I later changed to a single star due to this) begging me to change it back up.
And then after a few days I was informed my feedaty that the review would be taken down. In Italian mind you. Which I don't speak a word of mind you.
So I come to trust pilot where I can actually trust my review won't be taken down because of what seems like an allegiance between two Italian companies

"As of new laws, overseas merchants are obliged to apply GST (Goods and Services Tax) to purchases below A$1,000 adding a 10% charge on the total of the purchase. However, for any purchase above A$1,000, GST is not charged by the merchant but is collected by the Customs when the product arrives at the border."

Since the total amount of your order is higher than 1000,00 AUD, you did not pay the GST to us, but your country ​Customs is asking you to pay for the Customs duties.
